Redemption is a great human attribute, there's a lot to learn from this incident so instead of going on and on with rumors, gossip and conspiracy theories, look at the silver lining.
The young man obviously moved on so why not move on and leave the battlefield?
Bigots/extremists never move on... They lay in wait for the next victim and BOOM they strike at the slightest chance. Btw, why would any sane human proclaim closure on Deborah's matter like you just did when in truth she and members of her family are yet to get justice? Would you urge me to move on if what happened to Deborah had happened to someone close to you? Peace is not the absence of war. |

Not admitting a mistake is a bigger mistake
I did not say a word or attack this young man simply because of freedom of speech, but insulting, denigrating and body shaming people, especially folks old enough to be your mother or your father is going too far.
I'm happy for the young man for acknowledging his error and publicly making amends, this is a noble character and a good way forward.
The fake and crocodile tears supporters defending him were in it for their own vile and disgusting reasons, these characters care less about their own parents, they have zero respect for their elders, and they slaughter and force their own parents to sit at home or get killed like common chicken.
What a great happy ending for the young man, sin no more. I hear he supported the killing of Deborah Samuel and even threatened to deal with anyone that was against the murder of the innocent Christian girl. He is only humble now because he met a bigger bully. It's a matter of time before he goes back to the trenches. Btw, why was he released the moment his tweets about Deborah Samuel surfaced? IamtheTruth1: So many Nigerians are gullible. That's why they canceled History in some states. So that they can be giving the gullible ones 5k every 4years.
So many Nigerians have sold themselves for a plate of meal. Wike held PDP together. Wike held that party when everyone was decamping to APC. Atiku was in Dubai. He never cared. Wike came through for obaseki when they wanted to disgrace obasaki. Even when he was held on house arrest on that Election day. Wike held still. Where was Atiku? Where was Okowa? Even the Timbawal abi wetin. It was so certain he would loose that Election if not for wike's funding. See the way they betrayed wike. The same people he fought for.
Now, the man is asking for Ayu to resign. People are taking him as the crazy tyrant.
I'm not a fan of Wike. Neither do I support his party. But I do love men who stand solid and refuse to compromise.
Una dey shout Atiku.. Atiku. Una no know the man History. If he wins, that man will sell NNPC. Then the common man would be buying fuel at 400 naira per liter. Yeah, you are right but the same wike busted the whole thing with his oversize ego and greed. He removed and installed national chairmen at will, he hosted and sponsored state excos with rivers money, and he destroyed anyone who tried to call him to order. He did all he did in the hope that he will become the PDP presidential candidate but he was outsmarted. Wike, misread or should I say he overrated himself. Recall when he wanted to install his boy, chinda as a minority leader in the lower house and how the young man from delta state thought him politics 101? If wike wasn't there to spend rivers money the party will probably be stronger by now. He fought against strong politicians who did not agree with his style and turned PDP into what it is today. Many of those guys left the party because of wike. Today, we still would have zamfara, ebonyi and even cross rivers in the PDP if wike never interfered. What people like you didn't know was that he picked up fights with his fellow governors and in States where PDP was not in power, he picked up fights with whoever was gonna stand against his bid for the presidential ticket. Everything he did he did he did in the hope that he will get the ticket. You heard him say so himself when he visited Benue the other day. He said and I quote, "the buses people are saying we are giving out to people were all bought for my presidential campaign because we thought we were going to win". He didn't see any stumbling block having chased out governors who were perceived to be independent-minded and installing his stooges in States not run by the PDP... Do the maths my brother and you will discover that wike created this whole problem but now want us to believe he is fighting for the south. |

The National Assembly proposed 44 bills and the Constitution states that at least 24 State Houses of Assembly must say Yes to everyone of them, then the President will sign and it will become law.
It is over one year and only 11 States have responded. I will name them: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Delta, Edo, Kaduna, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Ogun and Osun states.
The remaining 25 Governors who control the State Houses of Assemblys ordered that they won't allow the Speakers to move on with the Constitutional Amendment unless 4 items are added:
State Police and 3 other items that satisfy their yearnings.

In that case, the nature of the ailment must be made public before such approval is given. Thirdly, disband state electoral commissions and return everything to inec. Remove all sorts of immunity from elected officers at state levels and Lastly, debates, manifestos and budget breakdowns must be made compulsory. Let's start from here and see how it goes. |

chrisxxx: I dont like people who are not truthful. Rivers State IGR as at 2014 was a little above 10b. Jonathan never held Rivers Federal allocation. What happened was that Jonathan approved some projects for Amaechi with the understanding that Federal Govt would reimburse Rivers State. These projects included the Obiri Ikwerre Interchange and the Port Harcourt Oweeri Road. When Amaechi was busy attacking and casting aspersion on Jonathan that he did nothing for Rivers State surprisingly none Jonathans image maker could tell Rivers people about these projects. Wike was fortunate to have received these monies from Buhari approved by Jonathan before he left office. Amaechi by himself stirred the hornet nest. Today despite the underperformance of Buhari no northerner has done to him what Amaechi led against Jonathan. Amaechi who was going about telling Rivers people that Jonathan did nothing for them could not put a borehole as a project attracted to Rivers State in his 8-year term as a super minister. Amaechi used his second term immediately Wike deserted him to stir controversies home and abroad. First let me start with the federal allocation matter. I meant the 13% derivation that was not paid to ameachi but was released to wike and other states by the buhari govt. I erroneously called it federal allocation, my bad . On the issue of IGR in 2014, my brother you suppose know say by 2014 Ameachi was already rounding up. You should have told us what it was in 2007 to maybe 2011. Let me ask you, did Jonathan do anything for Rivers state while he was president? You say Ameachi didn't do anything as a minister, right? What about the Omagwa local wing that was abandoned by Jonathan which ameachi completed and the new international wing he built while he oversaw the aviation ministry? Let me tell you some of the money the buhari govt paid to wike. 1. 13% derivation >80B 2. Projects executed by Ameachi's govt >80B 3. Paris club refund >60B - this is the money Ned Nwoko fought for on behalf of the federal, states and local govt's. Since 2015 when this govt came into power it has received refunds of more than 200B, IGR of more than 600B and statutory allocation of more than 600B. That's the point to note here. |

Their achievement can never be the same. This is what we want people to understand. To me as a Rivers person I value Wike more. Even the time Amaechi was performing Wike was the driving force. Amaechi performance nosedived when Wike left him in 2012 or there in. Let me correct this before you pass the wrong info. 1. Ameachi received around 1.5Billion monthly IGR against 10-15Billion for Wike 2. More than 80Billion spent on federal projects by Ameachi was paid to wike 3.. Federal allocation held by Jonathan was released to Wike 4. Wike was not the driving force as insinuated but was just a chief of staff to Ameachi. As for performance because wike left him that again is not true, if you truly live in rivers state you should have known that ameachi practically fought to complete his tenure 5. The pple who fought ameachi are the real enemies of rivers state. Today, wike has turned against all of them, from Abiye sekibo to Austine okpara to George sekibo to Mama Peace to even Jonathan and Uche Secondus. Rivers east where fubara is projected to win is highly urban and cosmopolitan.a lot of non indigenes are domiciled here esp in etche, emohua, obalga,ph and with bvas reducing wike inspired inflation, plus fubara unpopularity, votes might be divided.ikwerre LGA where amechi is from should go to cole, obio akpor will narrowly go to sim, same as ph and emohua.cole will take etche, omuma will be divided.okrika and ogu bolo will go to sim because of Evans bipi with cole taking significant margin. mrksquare: Amaechi remains the best governor after Diete Spiff.
The sum that was expended in building the Obiri Ikwerre interchange alone will construct six of Wike's overhead bridges.
Below is a video of the Obiri Ikwerre interchange https://fb.watch/gZyQmOnOcn/
When Amaechi was governor the only road leading to Woji-elelenwo-Akpajo corridor was through slaughter. Amaechi constructed an alternative route bridge that meander through river to connect that axis by road.
Amaechi built the oil mill interchange.
Amaechi reconstructed the Woji bridge at slaughter. And left that job at 70percent before his tenure ended.
All Wike has been doing is building bridges on existing road. In a state that is surrounded by 50 percent of river.
In all fairness to Wike, the only construction he is doing that is desirable, is the Woji-Aleto bridge that is connecting the river at Woji through Aleto. When that project is completed it means one can drive to Eleme from PH in 30 minutes.
All the Federal road Amaechi constructed during his tenure, a sum of 83 Billion was refunded to the state by Pres. Buhari and Wike became the beneficiary of it.
Amaechi sent over 2000 Rivers Indigene and non indigine alike on Oversea scholarship. The 12,200 jobs was devoid of ethnicity as many South Easterners and people from other ethnic group got the job on merit. Amaechi paid bursery to students in tertiary institution. Gave free bags, shoes, sandals and books to every children that enrolled into primary school in the primary school he built.
Amaechi bought cars for all doctors in Rivers state so as to boost their efficiency. There was free dental session for all resident of Rivers state at the Dental Hospital that was managed by the Indians.
Amaechi is a class of its own. Wike cannot fit into Amaechi's shoe. Today what we see is the rivers state govt buying cars for magistrates and judges. His focusvis on the judiciary because he knows that's where his matter will be handled when he leaves office. He has built houses for them and even sent them overseas but has neglected the core (primary and secondary) of the education value chain. |
