Buhari even if your are playing the vindictive card against southeast and south south for not voting for you, atleast appoint someone from the southwest..they voted for you!
Click like if you think buhari is an unrepentant tribalistic bigot! So disgusted now! Dem dey go there to chop mono or to serve? What diffrence does it make he occupies the seat. What if the next in line is the aboki man. What if the southeast and south south don't have very senior personnel there. Lesson: Help your pple when you have the opportunity to do so. I hope Jonathan used his over 5yrs to position the southeasterners and southsoutherners while he held sway. If he does, it's a matter of time they will be next in line to occupy most of the top positions. |

Thought he was trying to act tough? It's called a courtesy visit/call. This is done bfor accomplishing the business of the day. It has nothing to do with wike being the main man or buhari acting tough. It is not unusual to pay a visit to the gov when such calibre of persons visits a state. If a minister or a senior pastor or an imam or even the IG visits a state they register their presence at the govt house first. It's part of the long list of protocol. I hope u get it. |

Firefire: I thought by now Buhary would have deployed his full military might to crunch or take out Niger Delta from the map of Nigeria?
Good reasoning by the FG, dialogue and continuous dialogue, until that fails before you make any military move.
Hence, Buhary should take learnings out of this, do not make "careless" statement that could further polarize the already fragile union called Nigeria. => 5%
Btw: I am not from ND nor SE but I hate injustice.
God bless Nigeria. Would you rather want him to beg them in the first instance? Here is a man that smoked out the more elusive boko haram. Pple who embark on suicide missions. A man who turned his guns on the Shiites. Did you read the response of the gov. He said he will assist the military to defeat the militants. What the military high command came to rivers state for was to seek the cooperation of the govt. Remember, apart from the criminal blowing pipelines, there are also the pirates and kidnappers. Btw, Nigeria is only fragile in the minds of those who see buhari as a sectional leader and not a president of the federal republic. |

Bunch of clowns, God pass them. The major problem with our country Nigeria is the ignorance of the youths. But truth is, This set of pple always do what they do best, blaming every other person but themselves. lemme ask, is the house of reps a northern house of reps? Does the op not have a rep from his constituency there? Has he taking steps to find out from his rep what the true situation is,? If non of these questions is answered then op is sufferring from prolonged hangover. Only very lazy and extremely slow pple jump to support this kind of fairy tale. Joel3: The America War College.
if indeed a Certificateless man like Buhari truly attend the America War College then there are so many issues that calls for concern.
We need to be bothered of the curriculum of War College at that time. What was taught and what was required from applicants.
The war college claimed that the study's is equivalent to a Master Degree. And Buhari is among their Alumni. This is something the rest of the world need to be worried about.
Those who helped to package buhari during the last election were not able to package him further or maybe he sacks them. a militarist who tendered electricity bill and affidavit as a certificate.
The Americans who houses the War College doesn't live like a militarist.
We need to investigate the war college if their claims are true. Or maybe they were bribe by APC during the last election considering the fact that the Western Media also help to install Buhari as president in Nigeria.
Buhari who insult Israel in diplomatic to Muslim nation forgetting that Israel is capable of wiping Nigeria states with nukes. and also went further to collect Islamic loans.
Islamic loans comes with signing Islamic policy in a circular state like Nigeria. The oil which is the main stay of the circular economy comes from the Christian south the Niger Delta. Which will be used to pay back the Islamic loan. Why is buhari dragging Nigeria to Islamic nation. illiterate and zombies said there is no accrued interest with Islamic loan but want about terms and conditions of signing Islamic things most Nigeria don't know about? is Nigeria Islamic Nation? do we need Islamic loans? these are the people who fund Islamization agenda, jihad and terrorist.
and now buhari is unleashing herdsmen on poor citizens and Biafra to actualize it. in rick Ross voice this nigga want hold me back. Nawa oooo. Only you war college, Islamic loan, Niger delta oil, islamization, biafra, herdsmen and terrorism. Guy, you ain't just an illiterate but a zombified wailer. Your post is neither here nor there. Politics › Re: Amaechi Accused Of Stealing £500million - Dailymail Uk by ogmask: 7:35am On May 16, 2016 |
Kennydoc: EFCC is funded by the government to prosecute cases of financial crimes. That is their sole responsibility. They should do it. The state government doesn't want to get entangled in the case cos if they don't have the backing of the FG, then the case is as good as dead. We know how these things work in Nigeria: threatening of the judges handling the case, blackmailing of the same, frustrating the entire judicial process with federal might etc. Moreover, the guy (Amaechi) can even fail to honour the court summon knowing that he's the president's right hand man, and nobody can do much about it.
If the federal government is sincere about their fight against corruption, they should ask EFCC to invite him. That is the most effective route. I do not think Amaechi will mess with the courts when he knows that the pdp still controls the court to some extent. Let's narrowly it down to rivers state so you understand what I mean. Most of the prominent sons and daughters of rivers extraction in judicial matters in Nigeria today are of the pdp. We have Mary odili, OCJ Okocha, Oke Wali, Mrs wike, Mrs okpara, omeriji, daisy okocha and many others. You saw how it played out against Amaechi/dakuku and wike. You also saw it play out against Amaechi/local govt chairmen and wike. Tell me of one case apart from tribunal cases that has favoured Amaechi. |

Kennydoc: In response to your points:
a) Petitions have been written to EFCC to investigate Amaechi, but they refused to act on it.
b) Why will the FG not subject him to investigations considering the amount of dust that has been raised with regards to his corruption. If he's innocent like other APC politicians (the way Buhari has made us realise that they are all saints), why not allow EFCC invite him so that He will go and floor Rivers State Government and their 'fake' judicial commission of enquiry? The answer to your question is in my last line. between inviting him by the Efcc and approaching the high court with evidence, which will you go for at this point in time. |
Politics › Re: Amaechi Accused Of Stealing £500million - Dailymail Uk by ogmask: 4:02pm On May 15, 2016 |
freeze001: You do realise the EFCC can initiate its own investigations don't you? I believe you're also aware that Amaechi has been indicted by the panel of inquiry set up by the State Government? It's very much public knowledge that petitions have been forwarded to the EFCC against Amaechi but the EFCC, being under the full control of the Presidency can pick and choose what petitions to honour. If the EFCC has chosen to ignore anything about Amaechi as is evident, what do you expect Rivers govt to do?
The vetting by security agencies before clearance by the Senate would have only taken cognisance of ongoing investigations or cases and conveniently, there is none against Amaechi so why wouldn't he become Minister?
Keep to the subject and reason accordingly please. The issue between Abati and Buhari wasn't on financial crime or fraud. It was an issue of defamation of character as alleged by Buhari against Abati so of course, the offended party took recourse to the court. Do not be blinded by sentiments. The entire petition beats logic. It was hastily put together to disqualify Amaechi hi from becoming a minister. The Efcc and DSS I believe, looked into the petiband discovered it was borne out of malice. Aside the so called white paper by the Omeriji commission the state govt has not made any meaningful move. They hide behind the curtain to shout obout a petition sent by one man who calls himself a group. What stops the govt from instituting their own process thru the AG. btw I brought in Reuben Abati's issue to erase the believe that the rivers state govt will not get justice in court because there's an APC govt at the centre. |

You have already labelled the judge a pro-Jonathan judge so will you not be the first to scream bias if the state government institutes an action in it own courts? Sorry bout the gender mix up. As for jurisdiction, rivers state is the first port of call. So that shouldn't be a problem. The govt can go on to institute a case against him if they feel he has any to answer. Why cry of witch hunt when you can also wield your power too. Who does not know that the judiciary in rivers (both federal and state) is under wike's active control. Not a good excuse of u ask me. |
