Happy Shameful Birthday to Orji! This thief has the audacity to rear his ugly head, after inordinately and shamelessly stealing Abia's money and leaving the state in a state of squalor. |

Talku talku people. I just hate the way we do things - all talk, no action. Mtchewwww |
The bane of online and brick-and-mortar businesses is poor infrastructure and dysfunctional internal security. The myopic irresponsibility and ineptitude of leaders, both corporate and governmental, make it hard for small, medium, and large-sized businesses to remain viable, which is the ability to grow, expand, and develop. |
Reputation? Yet majority of African countries, especially Nigeria, wallow in needless squalor, turmoil, and sorrow. These 'reputable' ones should relentlessly lead the charge for a better Africa. |
Your folks did a disservice to the world by making you. You might as well be bundled and executed with those barbarians to make the world safer. OneCorner: |

With the President and VP out of country, this will be a good time for Babangida and his boys to strike again, just like they did in '85... ![]() |
Dude, what has Unongo's change of mind got to do with Zik? Who told you Igbos generally "dislike" Yorubas? Has any Igboman maltreated you to death? Don't they go about their businesses and hope for a better integrated and structured country? Would they live harmoniously with others if they had hate in their hearts, unlike others? Free your mind, bro. Deep down, nobody hates anybody in Nigeria. It's the poverty, frustration, and mis-education that's making it seem so. Glaringly, your drivel is deeply rooted in bigotry. If orchestrating the non-election of Zik through the Western House to represent Lagos at the Federal Legislature, making him maneuver through the Eastern House, is what you call "putting Zik in his place", then you have plainly spoken the reason for Nigeria's present shitty situation and kicked the sleeping dog. So, you think Awo put anyone "in their place"? Olorun ma je!!! Not even with his tribal-biased AG politics, that finally saw him put IN HIS PLACE at the Calabar prison for treason, could he muster some political clout while he existed. Not even his collusion with his puppet masters after the CW to financially marginalize the Igbos or Easterners, while he was Finance Commissioner, put Igbos "in their place." Ogbeni, let me disabuse your mind: Zik, was as a true and fearless nationalist, who endangered himself for a Nigeria where enfranchisement, egalitarianism, and constitutionality, not ethnicity or favoritism, were the sine qua non for NATIONHOOD. That's why Zik left the ethnically compromised NYM after his nominee, Samuel Akinsanya, an Ijebu, was denied the Legislative Council seat. Zik forged meaningful national alliances, such as working under and together with Herbert Olayinka Macaulay, a Lagosian, to form the NCNC. They fought tooth and nail with others like F. Ransome-Kuti, Z. Dipcharima, A. Olorunimbe, N. Essien, etc, to forestall the machinations of the colonial master to make Nigeria's legislature a mainly nominative one (Richard's Constitution), as opposed to a more elective assembly (Macpherson's). But, as tribalism would have it, the AGs engendered the distrust and political rancor that we still bear till date. Alariiwo: |
Poor grammar has the potential of doing more damage to Nigeria. Ask Buhari. What does the author mean by "...with a helicopter"? Was she the pilot or was she in the company of the helicopter? Shouldn't it be "...in a helicopter"? |
Good move! |
Obviously, he's a scavenging low-lifer who can't get a grip on a decent life. He flourishes under the influence of rottenness. leverage: |
Awwww...e pele, sir! So sorry your "butt hurting" medicine tastes bitter and is causing you hallucinations. Next time, don't OD on stupidity and publicly exude your state of stupor, and not expect to be curbed. leverage: |
Oh, hell yeah! Those 'random' words do stick...up your arse. Dude, you are way out of your depths coming sideways at people way above your level of achievement. While sounding remarkably ridiculous to be noticed, you need to pick up that proverbial soap to cleanse yourself of dumbness. leverage: |
Of course, that's the best drivel your little, uneducated mind and gay ass can spew. You hateful, ignorant piece of sh*t. Flat head ko, cone head ni. leverage: |
It's easy to discern you're a dumb savage. For una backward village, dem tell you say "blogging" (web logging) get age limitation or anything to do with a person's physiology? You epitomize the stupid oversabi mentality that most people have about career age, tribe, and trying to sound cool. Ode oshi, olori buruku! leverage: |
Blame yourself. Your energy is always used up by your trashy and corny responses. NwaAmaikpe: |
Thank you for your hatred. We'll keep developing and shaping things. python1: |
Good one, from Aregbs! |
I like the mellowness. |
This is why they needed southern teachers and students to teach their wards and raise their education standards via the Federal schools. Alas, their northernization and pogroms turned counter-productive. |
Chai! That's terrible. I pray he'll turn out a better a human. I was once beaten to pulp, just like that, by my Primary 3 teacher for my stubbornness. Somehow, I kept it to myself, but it left me scarred, though not marred. Our people need to moderate the corporal punishments and abuse meted to young people. The rising violence and bigotry in Nigeria could be a reflection of our over-flogging things. |
That's a crying shame. |
So what? |
Wow! Nigeria is not a serious country. Every stakeholder in the trade industry needs to stand up and demand more from the port managers. Port security and safety is top priority for our economic growth, since several billions of dollars valued goods move in and out of our ports. People can't keep loosing stuff, albeit illegal, through the ports because of "wharf rats" or dysfunctional system. The Port Authority needs to take a leadership role in the development of strategies to mitigate security risks in the port complex; they need to work closely with multiple partners, both public and private, to plan and coordinate security measures. Given Nigeria's revenue from those ports, we ought to, by now, have a highly-trained, armed harbour patrol force and ubiquitous 24/7 electronic surveillance to monitor the port activities, facilities and public roads and waterways leading to the port. |
As I was comoting, the door hitted my leg. |
The problem is: women are more Hot and needy now than ever before. |
All these misplaced-priority projects. It's not enough to model and build an airport; the question is - do they solve the correct problems. Building power generation plants and equipping colleges and universities for more research should be at the top of the totem pole. |
I smell something fishy. I bet she was poisoned. Shine your eyes, people. |

"Pres Buhari always informs Nigerians of his trips." What about informing Nigerians of his activities during those trips, especially the long ones? itsdumebi: |
