u guys must be vibrantly young I guess i must be getting old, I only code (software/web apps) on request and it must involve a lot of money (at least over N500k) and it must be sell-able to hundreds of Nigerians for an affordable (quarterly subscription) cost. the rest of my time is spent, learning the guitar and sequencing loops on FL or studying reusable components in .NET rather than facing the rigor of implementing the feature from scratch. in all at least 2hrs in one week

I certainly concur that you are a patriotic Nigerian. I could sense the level of penchant passion you share amongst fellow Nigerians. It simply means that there are still good and reasonable people in Nigeria.

However, i'm aware of the 2million people displaced by flood in Kaduna or so and the cause voiced down to Chalawa and Tiga dam. of course, one could argue that it is a global thing but in all the flood that took place in Nigerian, they were all accidental discharge perpetuated by the states power supply service engineers. Now my question goes to those engineers. As professional they claimed to be, does it mean that they could not notice the increase of the dam and its negative effect on the masses if they should go on with the servicing of the dam or were they busy thinking on how to share their gained cake? Not as if after servicing the dam, the citizen will enjoy constant 1 hour power supply not to talk of the impossible 24hours power supply in the nation. I think people should learn how to put their fellow human being into consideration rather than being self centered. I have no doubt that those jobs were contracted to wheel barrow pusher who does not know his or her left from right. I think Nigerian government should quickly nip in the bud or else, carelessly, citizens could be consumed by fire on a very good day by amateur contractors.

I have nothing against Mr. President rigging the election. i want to believe that most Nigerians will say same. Yes, we really need a change in the nigerian political system. It is obvious that Nigerians have concur to the fact that every other person in the country are incompetent of occupying that position or else IBB won't have been the only one to skyrock him self for the very position he had messed up in the past. I beg of you all Nigerians to put sentiment aside. if Mr. Jonathan, finds favor from the masses, let him stay put, period. If actually at last he decides to rigg the election, i want to state here that he is not the first to rigg election in Nigeria neither will he be the last. You should free him pls.

I'm an African man, a Nigerian to be presides. to get married to a mother of one is not our culture. yes, in some part of African, it is their culture. girls are being regarded matured and ready for marriage after procreation at home. places like Benin Republic, Lome , Ivory d'coast, central africa and what have you. in Nigeria, irrespective of the lady's status, provided you had a child out of wedlock, at a point in life, you will be the one in search of a man to marry with your fund and that will be any how man and any how man for that matter.

I had gone through a similar case but mine was that i knew her and was willing to settle down with her. unfurtunately, the very year i was to come back to Nigeria for our traditional married, behold she was carrying another man baby in her womb. i felt bad because the very man in question rejected the pregnancy and poor girl, a graduate and from a responsible home. of course i had wanted to go on with the traditional marriage but then i was called to order if you know what i mean. due to my family background. so my answer to the abobe post is NO, I CANT
