pitapromiz: from the knowledge i have gathered so far on this thread. certified translations are only required of applicants whose documents are in languages other than english, german and french as required by the admission office....other than that what you need do is to have the photocopies of your docs certified either by the german embassy or a notary public and the high court is another option. or else your cert is in igbo my thots tho Igbo sef go make sense, thanks anyway. |

Eke40seven: Note however, that Jena is not the kind of place you survive if you hope to get your funds from jobs. It is cheaper to live there though.
Well, I don't really have time, from time to time I will write a mini article on my top ten cities to study in Germany, considering the most important factors for people coming from Nigeria. The scores will be weighted and analysed. nice one, also try to add about life in germany, both hustle and studies. |

Williamso: It normally takes almost 3 days (if you're lucky) or sometimes up to a week, and costs about 20million naira. You can get a 50% one-trip discount on a return ticket - that would be about 30mil.

No p bro, tnx anyway. Williamso: As upsetting as my post was, no one else has bothered giving your earlier post a response. That should say a lot. Sorry if I struck a nerve.
Firstly, did your ish with unilag happen after completion of 100Level? If it did not, and you don't have your transcript, then as far as Germany is concerned, your chances of schooling as an undergrad in English is almost impossible. Secondly, Good to know you're doing your own digging. Probably the agent is considering Studienkolleg for you, I'm sure you know that's exclusively taught in German, because your O'level is definitely not good enough. Finally, I see you have money Put that to good use and read this thread. I will read the bible from beginning to end for that money you wish to give away, how much more this thread... Think about it. |

Williamso: Seriously? You did not see it on your school's/program's website, you did not deem it fit to mail someone in your school, and you're coming to post this silly question here? Keep waiting for a reasonable answer. Hopefully, your course coordinator is a nairalander... Quatsch! mind how u talk to people guy. |

takeastep: As per your PhD, first thing first:
1. Decide on your research area of interest 2. Search for schools that offer such 3. Visit their websites and check their requirements. It varies. 99% of PhD programmes are done in English, so TOEFL may not be necessary. 4. Most importantly, you need a supervisor that will agree to supervise you. Check on the professors/lecturers handling your research area in each school. Get their details and begin to fire them with your proposal, CV (make it detailed) and a cover letter (motivation letter).
Then wait for response. It may tarry, you have to be very patient.
Packaging is of utmost importance.
Once you get a supervisor, you are half way done.
All the best.

I would be grateful if you can send me a good sample as a guide.
Also, do I need TOEFL for PhD admission? email is ayoola190@yahoo.com
Also do I need to discuss with supervisor before application? hello fam, is it true PhD students are been paid while studying. |
