willy2000: Are you still processing Uni-bambergs' admission ? I thought you already applied. Let me help you out, so you don't waste your time and money, if you don't have up 117 ECTS in Computer science Modules don't apply, you need IELTS or TOEFL, so forget English was my medium of instruction bla bla bla. A friend of mine was rejected, because of this, although he studied software engineering. He had insufficient computer science ECTS. Admission is becoming competitive, your bachelor degree has to be related to the master degree you are applying for.
And you don't need a secondary school transcript if you are applying for a master degree. sure I will shun them, what course did u study during your bsc? |

louisilva: 1. your question is very funny. ur friend can help u fund ur account as long as he/she is funding with Euros and sends the required amount. just like asking if someone can pay in money into ur Nigerian account for u.
2. compulsory if u are applying/applied for visa. if u change ur mind abt applying for visa den its not compulsory please what's the advantage of using a dollar dom accnt to mk ur dB payment.tnx |

louisilva: i would have also suggested you use a domiciliary statement if its possible. reason been that with the way FX is going up to heaven and not hell if you open and keep the Euro in ur account now u will be at a safer side when the time comes to fund ur blocked account and it will be faster wen transfering the money just in case by the time ur bank details come out 1Euro might be N500. this is what i did. wen i CBN policy ws abt to come out i quickly got EURO from black market and open a dorm account. now looking back i actually got it cheaper than wat banks or even black market is selling.
on the other hand, EURO might still fall so its ur choice. just consider all ur options well. what about sumone that has a dollar accnt, converting to euro or naira to euro, which one is better? |

Nice one, pls any specific amount of words 4 ur SOP or max or mini pages stuff? Painpill: Interview was earlier in the week. My transcript.
Went in 6:30am. Did my biometrics, paid visa fee, submited my docs and my file was created and visa receipt given to me. I wrote my SOP in 10mins, submitted and waited for my interview. After attending to those for DB opening et al my interview started around 11/12pm.
-Do you speak deutsch? -Where did you learn? -To what level? -Why Germany? -Why do you wana study this course? -Why not in the UK or US? -How did you get to know about the school n course? -How did you apply? -How much did you pay to uniassist? -What docs did you submit during application? -What response did you get after application? -Plans after studies? -Timeline from primary school till date. -Your course structure. -All modules from 1st-4th semester. -Means of sponsorship? -Parents occupation? -Name of company? -Bsc project topic? (And she googled it n blew me questions related to it) -List textbooks you used during your Bachelors (Ikr? She typed all) -Tell me more about your intended course of study (and she was googling n asking me questions related) -Got family in Germany? -Friends? -Name of course coordinator? -Ever applied for a German or schengen visa? -Tell me bout your city? -Name of your mayor? -Spell it? -Population of your city, state, n germany? -Kinda system of government practised in Germany? -Name of president & chancellor & their parties? -Name all German states? -Neighbouring countries? -How have you been preparing for your stay in Germany? -Made accommodation arrangements? Ayt, you'll be contacted via e-mail. Byee.(gave me back my passport)
My tips: -Practice writing your SOP in 10mins before your interview. -Chow before going cos the worms in your tummy will gain free entry visa to all parts of your Gastrointestinal tract before you even get to talk to the VO. You can also say you don't have your prepaid courier envelope and you'll be asked to go get it after writing your SOP. Then you can use that opportunity to go eat/drink something. Won't be fun watching those security guys pulling out plates from the microwave and 1-litre sprite bottles by 11am while you wait for your interview with growling stomach. -You might also be given a written test as the dude before me got softened with some math questions.
Ciao. |

Eke40seven: The truth is that, a laptop is more expensive in Germany because the cost of marketing and sales is more and wages ar higher. If you display a ware n Germany, the seller will collect nothing less than 8.50 and hour while in Nigeria, that 8.50 will last for an entire day.
Note that this question is coming from someone with only the naira and have not made a dime from Germany. A laptop for 300 euros will certainly be a normal laptop of with basic features or I even bet it might be a secondhand laptop. If you convert that amount in naira, 300*370, you know the kind laptop wey you go use am buy. @Ohaskid, buy your laptops and phones from Nigeria. A Samsung in Nigeria is the same Samsung anywhere in the world. @eke, tnx alot. @neville, pls pandon Schwartz for such a comment. @Schwartz, u knw u are our only german E-baby , pls dnt take all dis personal, u knw we all appreciate ur contribution. I dnt Wana loose u here so pls hun apologize to neville 4 such a comment and let's move on. We are one big E-family. House pls no more fighting. |

Eke40seven: If that is so, will that make you change your plans? Una dey worry o. Crime rate is low in Germany (I can speak well for Munich) and night live veeerrry active. I just have the impression here that police do not have much work or trouble, there seem to be nothing to do actually, that why they go back to dig up murder cases of decades before. You can go for hours without siting a single policeman/woman on uniform at least. nah mehn, just read a news 2day abt a white cops dat killd a black man, so I decided to ask. Tnx 4 d info. Cheers.. |

nevilbot: There is no special how internship works. Almost all companies take interns if you apply wen dey advertise. So all u do is register on job portals and get job adverts in ur mail. When u see one that suits ur course, u apply and go for the interview like any normal job interview and if u are picked congrats.
A Nigerian student from Munich was in Frankfurt for an interview with Deutsche bahn for a 6 months internship last month and after d interview he got d job. He will be starting in October. They even paid his train tickets to and from Munich for him to come. So no biggie abt internship. Once u see a company advert that suits ur field, apply. Lobathan Our people in germany, please have there been any white cops killing black man stories in germany? jst like what do happen in the uk sometimes. |
