Some people have 100% confidence that they will suffer hardship. These people infact say it with pride and are so hopeful, even prayerful that they should suffer for the next 4/8 years of Tinubu's government. And I wish them what they are hoping for in FULL MEASURE.

As for the rest of us, we are hopeful that
everything Tinubu will touch in the next 4/8 years will bring nothing but smiles on our faces and in our hearts. PROSPERITY AND MUCH MORE PROSPERITY IN FULL MEASURE.

Once he is sworn in, expect the following

Announcement of a chief is staff and personal aides mainly from Lagos. An SGF from the Christian North Central but the Lagos cabal would be well placed to run things in d kitchen cabinet henceforth

Rejig of the security apparatus, southern or Yoruba IG of Police, new head of Customs and Immigration plus chief of army staff from christian middle belt with adequate compensation for core northerners. South East still left out

Sack Emiefele as CBN gov and replaced with a brilliant economist from the north

Appoint his ministers with d minister of Information and Attorney General mandated to sanitize broadcasting and social media. The likes of Arise news would have their license suspended while social media terrorists would be prosecuted according to the law and many of them sent to jail

Trial of Nnamdi Kanu concluded and he is found guilty and sentenced to death by firing squard. The president would exercise his perogative of mercy and commute the death sentence to life imprisonment. Kanu is henceforth sent to Yola prisons to serve his rest of his life there with hard labour

All the refineries are sold off through competitive bidding with players like Oando buying at least one of them. Dangote refinery also starts operation and the FG finally have the courage to remove subsidy. FG encourages and support states to buy buses for mass transit to cushion the effect but only states with existing transport infrastructure like Lagos State would see benefits from d scheme. States like Anambra and Delta with terrible inner city roads and zero mass transit specializing in Keke napep and wheel barrows as means of transport would feel d brunt of the pains of d subsidy removal as PMS prices would initially shoot to N500 but then moderate to N300 over time

The govt embarks on mass recruitment into d military and police with a target of additional 250k military and 500k policemen. In d same vein d executive sends a bill for state police to d NASS with adequate buy in from all critical stake holders

The FG embarks on civil service reforms in line with d Oronsaye report and cuts d size of d civil service by 50% and introduce technology to every aspect of govt revenue minimizing human contact and interaction

Govt rolls out new set of corporate tax methodology that encourages self assessment. Alpha Beta consultants come in and in d first year increases FG taxes by 120%

Govt settles out of court with Rivers and Lagos states on VAT with agreement that FIRS continues to do the collection while derivation principle of 65% is applied with FG share of 25% while 10% goes to a distributable pool

FG hands over all inner city federal roads to their various states with freedom to toll

FG sets up an infrastructure bond to revamp the infrastructure architecture of Nigeria

Political nissance are tried according to law and those found guilty are sent to prison with hard labour to work in farms to be set up by govt in collaboration with various states

Good!

1)However, what happens to insecurity and corruption.

2) The people that would champion this processes, how they be monitored?? Are there specific KPI's? Would they be replaced when they don't meet expectations?

It is not about too much talk and no actions.

Politics / Tinubu's First 6 Months In Office: What Are Your Expectations? by Ohislee(m): 12:05pm On May 12, 2023
The elections is come and gone and we have a president elect in Tinubu. A lot of Nigerians do not believe he his the right man to lead the nation forward while there are other group of people with a contrary opinions.

As a Nigerian, what are your expectations for Tinubu's first 6months in office?

I would go first!

In Tinubu's first 6months in office, I do not expect much difference from what we have experienced in Buhari's administration for a number if reasons.

1) 40% of his cabinet would likely be those already existing in Buhari's administration. These are the same set of people that have destroyed this nation in the last 8 years and are regrouping under the leadership of Tinubu. The lobbying is already going on.

2) Due to the elections, Tinubu have not been able to pay adequate attention to his health, thereby making him struggle health wise. After the inaugurations, I expect Tinubu to be in Nigeria max 2 weeks before he jets out to Europe for further treatment of his ailment. This might take 3 - 6months. Guess who will be handling the affairs of this nation? Kashim Shettima.

3) Islamic extremist like Shettima would not prioritize nation building, his number one agenda is the expansion of Islam. I foresee insecurity increasing.

4) Corruption: There would be an increase in corruption among those that are in the corridors of power like never before in Tinubu's administration. The fight against corruption would cease. Any attempt to fight it would be countered by blackmails. After all , they all know each others secret. Corruption can not fight corruption.

5) Development: In a nation where insecurity and corruption is the bane of the day, where would development come from?? In a situation where the money meant for development is continuously been stolen and citizens don't feel secured enough to be productive. For example people don't feel secured going to their farm lands or working late nights. Issues like these would drastically reduce any nations productivity.

We should just forget about development and progress. If there is any, it would be at snail pace.

2: Tinubu scored 25% in 30 States, Won 8 million votes

Obi couldn't get 25% 2/3 in 20 State and lost all Northern States

Even a foolish person knows Obi is only for 5% Ipob. Hausa Fulani Yoruba, Ikwere Tiv all rejected him as they rejected Ojuckwu and Azikwe

If all this people did not vote for him, where did the 6million votes come from??

Even against rigging, federal might, INEC, police, military, thugs, money inducement. Obi was able to secure over 6million votes and you're still underestimating him. This means you are the one truly leaving in the cave.

Nigerians have rejected APC accept this as a fact. The only thing sustaining APC right now is their criminal entity and their ability to rig elections.

The judiciary is the last hope of the common man.

If our judiciary decides to sell justice to the highest bidder, there is nothing I can do about it. I would accept the fact that there is no hope for redemption of Nigeria in the next 8 or more years.

If you continue supporting injustice because it benefits you, the day you would need justice it would evade you. It is a simple law of nature, 'you reap what you sow'.

How many secondary & tertiary institution in Anambra can beat those in Lagos? How many research did Anambra universities churn out and what ranking is Anambra universities in the world?

Anambra has been ranked number 1 consistently for 10years straight in waec and jamb. A feat that use to be recorded by Yoruba states. The news you posted there is not sufficient enough to disprove that. Your news link is only limited to when CBT was newly introduced.

I was in Government College Lagos 1999 and 2000 when Tinubu was governor of Lagos, I know how the structure of that school looks like even when Tinubu left office in 2007. This is a school Tinubu lied on his INEC form that he is an alumni of. He said he attended the school even before the school was founded in 1974, very laughable grin grin grin ;. Fashola was the one that renovated the school during his tenure as governor. Now compare this with what Obi did with CKC college in which Obi is an alumni of. There are pictures evidences everywhere.

Nonsense.

Tinubu is a better leader than Peteru Obi when you judge them by their performance as governors and how they’ve built alliance and network of leaders.

Even in philanthropy, Tinubu has impacted more on people lives than Peter Obi who can’t even qualify to be a LG chairman in sane countries.

How does politicians networking with other politicians benefits the common man or build a nation

Nigerians want good leaders and not political network.

A meat seller has one vote, the Sultan of sokoto has one vote. What is the ratio of meat sellers to the Sultans? Peter Obi understands this that was why he chose to relate more with the common men so that they can entrust him with their mandate, but Tinubu stole it.

Look at the statistics below when benchmarking performance.

When you speak of Obi and Tinubu performance as governors, bring all the indices side by side. Obi outdeed Tinubu hands down. But most mistakes Tinubu supporters make is comparing Obi's 8years achievement as governor with Tinubu 24years as landlord of Lagos.

Lol 😂

If APC had nominated any other candidate besides Tinubu, they would be defeated fair and square. Most people they voted Tinubu did because he is Tinubu.

If it’s truly party that matters, why did Atiku not win with PDP?

APC cabals did not even support Tinubu in this election coz they tried every possible best to make sure he lose. The only saving grace for him are the alliance he has built from the onset and those Northern governors would have done anti-party to support Atiku had it been APC present a weak candidate.

For someone without any presidency backing, he has been out of any political contest since 2007 and he suddenly came and won the presidential election at first trial, Tinubu deserve the Jagaban title.

Obi was VP in 2019 and that catapaulted him a bit but yet he was still not able to beat Buhari record of 10million constant vote since 2003. Even at that Buhari couldn’t win his election at first trial.

Obi campaigned with both tribe and religion against a Muslim-Muslim ticket and still came third. Shame on the loser.

That is the lie Tinubu supporters are always pushing. That nobody else could win with the APC ticket besides Tinubu.

Nigerians don't want politicians that can win elections. What Nigerians want is a good leader.
