This brought back memories.
Mine was to go to Fulani residential area to get fresh milk from them, a paint of bucket and, sometimes with 25ltr of keg. Because we were into yogurt making.

The road to our house then was quite busy, when I put the bucket on my head, to cross the road becomes a problem, I would look right, left, when u see the left is clear and want to take a glimpse at the right, u would see plenty vehicles again.

You can't easily turn your neck around bcuz of the weight of the bucket, I started watching the movement of those that might want to cross like me, I move when I c dem move too.

The making was another stressful one bcuz of the process involved, my mama can wake u midnight just to go and bring out the churn for packaging......

Poultry farm, making of soda soap was another stress too.
All I can say is that, our mothers of those days just don't like being lazy, they could hire people then to do these jobs but, no way. They prefer to use their kids.

My pain then was seeing any of my school mate nicely dressed while I'm on a shabby clothes stained with dirt from the poultry farm during the cleaning.
There was no way I could hide from my classmates, sometimes I would see them in the sawmill where we normally pack sawdust.......

My brother's msg to his unborn kids, "I promise to be patience and get u the best Mom in the whole wide world"

Well thats the work am doing but was sack

Mine was in a bank the pay is 31k but there will be increment this month i ve work there for years

There was fire outbreak in that same bank last year and i was one of those who make sure they stop the fire

We stopped the fire before the fire service dept came me and 3 other guys a security and 2 drivers. This bank till today didnt appreciate us but rush to give federal and state fire dept 100k each

In this same bank
A religional complainant has pushed a pregnant lady who happens to be a customer care service attendent and nothing happen

But i was asked to stop work because i accosted a girl who tresspassed into the bank premises on Saturday thats not a work day

They didn't even know if the girl is a criminal or a spy but they asked me to stop work

I thank God cause i wont do that work forever

Currently am learning programming course

But it painful how this people don't regard security guards in this country

banks generally doesn't regard or appreciate employees no matter how long u serve them, employees can b discarded anytime.
May God provide u with a better job.

This is why when a teenager misbehaves outside, he or she fears the father but will easily reveal his or her crime to the mother. University students, when they get poor results, will first inform their mothers. Most times, the mothers will not tell the fathers about the children's academic poor performance. But the fathers are the payers of school fees. Fathers are more honest and rational. Sadly, fathers are downgraded because they are more disciplined.

@ Redomi, I am a woman and I have also realised that when a woman say something don't just take it for granted, she will do it, last two month, a widow told her brother in-law that he would die by accident and the guy made a video of her when she was saying it.
To cut the story short, the brother in-law was buried last Saturday, he was involved in an accident and he died on the spot....
They warned the guy but he took it as nothing.....whether it's coincidence or she actually did fetish stuff to end the guy, we don't know, one sure thing is that, there is power in the tongue especially when its used to pronounce evil.

don't be jealous, we can't remain the same when the kids start coming, it's nature, my own prayer is that, it shouldn't get to an extent that its obvious to my hubby, I could remember one occasion like that, he was about eating and I brought a washing hand bowl to him, suddenly my baby started crying we both rush to the room to carry him bcuz the way the baby screamed was unusual....after calming the baby, my husband returned to the sitting room, I on my part totally forgot I was about serving him before the incidence until he started complaining that I have stopped giving him attention since the arrival of our baby, that day I felt somehow bcuz he pointed out things that I used to do before that I no longer do.
Every men should learn to b patience, it's just a phase and it will pass.

If u want to bond with ur kids, do what mothers do, be there for them physically, don't just have a monetary connection with them. If u give a woman money for house keeping expenses and, out of the money she buys somtin special for the kids, they will celebrate mommy's effort and not urs, learn to be flexible with them, why do u think female children are more attached to there daddy? Because daddy see and treat them like princesses and handle the boys with iron hand

My wife and brother no dey eat this fish. I can't remember the name sef. Maybe nah alaran or shawa. It's the cheapest . They always feel like vomiting when they eat it. Me , Nah all fish I dey chop dey go o.
