12v - 50k, 24v - 70k. Picture shows an LFP cell charging at 3.56v 12v version sold only 24v left |

mctfopt: I like a charger that I can adjust. Are you too balancing your LFP? This charger appear very versatile and can be used as a power supply too. How steady are the output voltage? Quite useful for occasional balancing which is one of the reasons I got it. The other reason is to be able to charge at varying amperage to accommodate low voltage phcn and generator capacity scenarios. Voltage is quite steady have used it just a few hours though....will see how it goes |

microgiant: Good day ladies and gents,
Advise needed, I want to buy a tv, did some research and found TCL 4k Android Smart UHD Edgeless TV which meets my spec and budget. It consumes about 135w at full blast. Is it advisable to purchase it considering I plan to install 5KW inverter.
Also I had in mind to purchase an inverter friendly fridge, but unfortunately the LG fridge model JUO mentioned he bought for 80k and consumes 30w is currently out of stock. In fact, after he mentioned it I searched online and found it on jumia around 130K, but when I was ready to purchase, it was out of stock on jumia and konga. Please advise next possible option.
It seems many people are following this thread silently, and acts on any information posted here.

Abdomox: The voltage when full is 27.4. It still has light supplied into it.
Observed that my multimeter is faulty (it reduces value by 2). I used another multimeter to get the new readings. It will be good to know if the charging gets up to 28.4 or more. Basically let us know the following: 1. While it's charging what's the highest voltage it attained before dropping? 2. When the voltage drops, what's the voltage it drops to while still connected to power. 3. What's the voltage it drops to without power and without load Regards |

jamace: Maybe only a portion of your order was filled and you cancelled the order. The system will assume you are no longer interested and will automatically revert the partially filled order, making your total order null and void. I observed this from MorganCapital. If Morgan Capital does that it will be really strange, the shares once bought is bought, even if it's partially filled when you cancel the once already filled cannot be reverted as the person that sold don chop the money |

It's 50k each (price is firm) Can do in 4 or 8 units If you are going for the 8 cells and don't have a BMS, I can sell my new Daly 24v BMS which I have as backup to you at 35k. Note: I would prefer not to sell my BMS, if you have other means of getting your BMS you should use that instead

Abdomox: When it was depleted. The Volt meter is reading 24 now after leavibg for a while.
But the batteries are reading 10V each and 22V jointly.
I'm thinking my multimeter is malfunctioning by reducing 2V from each battery but add 2V instead of 4V when I measure jointly I need to know the voltage when full without load and after resting for a few hours |
Computers › Re: Inverter Users : Lets Have Your Experience by ojeysky(m): 10:02am On May 21, 2020 |
Abdomox: Just remeasured now, one battery reads 10 and another 9, and it reads 21 jointly. Hope my multimeter is not faulty? But the voltmeter installed on the wall reads 23.1 (see pix).
PS: The Battery depleted due to lack of power supply yesterday. You mean this was the reading you got when the battery indicated that it was full? |

Once you go lithium, you can't go back. With the official rate at 360 and some strings attached to recent IMF loans, I doubt there will be very significant difference, certainly prices won't go back to pre-covid period. |

Abdomox: The batteries individually read 10. But when I read jointly it shows 23. Is this fine?
Reading was done when not charging and no load. That's strange where did the 3v come from? In any case your battery at less than 24v is already below 50% DoD hence it's either your battery is already going bad or your charger is not 10A as I earlier stated. How long have you been using the battery? You really need to figure out where the 3v difference comes from |

Abdomox: They wrote Pure Sinewave HUPS 1400VA/24V
I have a multimeter, but don't know how to use to check charge rate. Only seeing that of car battery online. Okay multimeter is not helpful, you need a clamp meter to get actual reading. I googled the model, it seem it's 10A charging hence it should take about 9 to 10hrs to charge from low to full. What's the battery voltage when it's low and without load?(you can use your multimeter for that) |

Dam5reey: You are missing the Point, An inverter is 3KV but continuous power is 2.4KW
And some brands are 3KVA and can do 3KW continuous
Same as the specs on the battery, The real usable capacity is advertised already so it's not a scam, they never told you it's 200AH or 150AH, it's simply put you can use 3.75KwH from battery 24200
Capacity is correct, you the only thing you can argue if the price is right or not, the specs is what it is. I think you missed the point, the battery was earlier advertised as 200AH. See my subsequent post quoted below: ojeysky: Let's just say it was a scam when they labelled it as 200AH in the past, now that it's labelled 3.75KWh I think they've now done the right thing, unless the 200AH still exists somewhere on the specsheet or the battery box |
