You are right. It is otherwise well and professionally packaged with standard, non-smart BMS. It puts the DIY setup we bought from some vendors to shame in terms of packaging and construction. It looks highly professional.

Yes it does though I will say the DIY I currently use was quite professionally packaged as well, but for me na content be priority. Who packaging epp....

I wish the BMS is smart, but I was told that felicity charge controllers and inverters can talk to the battery. I don't know if it is true.

After a more detailed look, I can confidently say that this battery is 120AH or 5.7KWh. It is made of 16 prismatic cells of 120AH each. I think Felicity is guilty of false advertising and should be reported to Standard Organisation of Nigeria. It is neither 200AH or 7.5KWh.

Wew! That's not fair, though like I said 5.8kwh is still not a bad deal capacity/cost wise but what is bad is for them to rate 7.5kwh yet you could only get 5.7. That is very bad of a company. Thanks for letting us know

I bought the 48v Felicity lithium and my first impression is not good. I tried to do a test drain overnight. It gave me about 90AH drain overnight. I then set my Water Pump on it to drain it further. I got to about 115AH when my inverter shutdown at about 49v. I wasn't sure which shut down first, my inverter or the battery. But the battery was still (or back) on when I checked. At this point, I can not recommend this battery based on expected AH output.

That's 5.8kwh at 49v would be at least 80% DoD already, what was it rated for? If 7kwh then it may not be a bad deal afterall

I appreciate everyone for your nice contributions, I was actually thinking of paralleling some of these hybrid Inverters that has battery less mod, like once advertised by MPPSolar whether it could require less number of batteries since load will only be used during the day when sun is up. So I think I should continue on Gen for now maybe in future I will have what it takes to go completely solar. Thank you very much guys.

The batteryless model (GK series) does not support parallel option, you can however work around it with proper load separation

The heating unit usually have a different switch that enables its control by choice. Flipping that switch on can increase the total consumption to as much as 850 watts. However the freezer compartment alone is usually below 100 watts

There was a time I had to go hunting for one. I checked a shop that had up to 30 different brands. The least freezer compartment consumption I could find was around 89 watts. I just dropped the idea of acquiring one.

Bros I have just done a rough calculation for 0.6kw which will require 350AH for 12hrs you can do the maths of the rest. I forsee over 8000AH, that's going to require a huge money and robust planning

Go with 400AH(2x200AH 25.6v) Lifepo4 or 800AH (8x200AH 12v), if budget is an issue, you can manage 4x200AH lead acid.

My 55 inches uses about 100 watts,43 inches uses about 80 watts and the 32 inches about 50 watts ,while the fans uses about 50 watts X 3 pcs

524x1.2(if we factor loss)= 628
You will need about 16KWH of backup for this. At 24v system, that translate to between 600 and 700AH Lifepo4 or 1200AH Lead acid (assuming you apply safety precautions).

Do you really want to have 524w all through 24hrs? I don't think so but you have a rough estimate to work with.

You can only get help on calculation if you provide the actual wattage of the appliances just like you did for the bulbs

to your questions, is the bolded true?. if 200ah 12v, then ur 2nits of 150 watts panel would only charge the battery halfway, and your inverter will mostly work during the day and shut down at night......if perchance you actually meant a battery bank of 200ah 24v, then your 300watts panel doesnt stand a chance
