GoldSomy: Hi guys,
My car is 2007 Camry V4 and the recommended oil is 5W-20 and 0w-20 but generally, in Nigeria they said 5w-30 is better due our weather
What’s your advice please There are places hotter than naija.....but ofcourse if you can't get *w-20 then you can use a good 5w-30 but don't link the reason to weather |

Yet, na Buhari we all dey blame. Bros who is to blame? Let the leader of a sovereign country lead by example and watch it have effect of the citizenry.... It's not rocket science. The only blame to the citizenry (which is significant) would be for electing such leadership |

Should I continue to wait for PO call? I think the main question is whether post office is operational, the one in my area said they are not working as they don't have level 13 and above at their station. The claim is that lockdown is only eased for level 13 and above |

ceaser: A 12v/60A LFP pack I got November last year stood at 80k. Just last month, I got a price list from a 9ja guy and in it he quoted 12v/50A LFP pack at 29k. Apparently it's becoming more affordable and more reputable coys in Nigeria are venturing into supplying LFP batteries. . Does your contact have good new LFP cells for sale Or do you know any other person that does? |

Things are usually worse with DHL. Devilish lots. 25kg for 18k total shipping sounds like a good deal then, it would have cost more with my alternate option or do you mean the 18k was customs fee? |

essegis: Thanks for the explanation. Meaning for me to charge this pack at 1C rate I must be ready to pump in 196A of current into it.
Ewo!!!! Where I wan see am from? Hahahaha..... Lol but it should be possible to do 0.2 to 0.5C, the higher you are able to deliver the faster you achieve full capacity. That said, I personally won't go beyond 0.5C even if I have the means; doing 1C charging consistently may eventually tell on the battery life span. On my cell specs a 1C is called a fast charge while up to 0.5C is called a standard/normal charge. I prefer the normal |

stuffs4me: Hi . Pls I have this issue with my Toyota Corolla 2010. The following dashboard light comes on when I start the car but disappears after I've driven the car for about 1 hour and remain off for the rest of the day. 1) The check engine light 2) The anti skid light 3) The VSC OFF light.
However, the Tyre pressure light stays on permanently even after checking the tyre pressure. The vulcaniser told me that one of the tyres sensor is not there.

Freeze - no output from solar charge controller until manual reset or the following day. Dropout - momentary lowering of solar output as large load is turned on or off. I did not experience that at all |

essegis: Hmmmm, the way una dey call this Lithium ehn. I pray I enjoy it too oo.
I need a little explanation from you though regarding C rates, both charging and discharging. I see you mention it in some of your other posts. Can you help me expantiate please. C rates are rates at which you charge or discharge your battery. The C is the cell capacity, in your case I think yours is 196AH, as an example, 0.5C means that you can charge your cells at 98A, 0.2 means you can charge at 39A etc. The charge/discharge ratings of cells varies, most lithiums supports up to 1C charge rates while there are those that supports more but I have not seen one with over 2C charge, same with discharge rates but I have seen C rates as high as 6C. |

See specs of freezer below......essentially 766kwh/yr Bros why you dey downgrade LFP na ..... freezer is minor na I currently have 200Ah, apart from lightings, TV etc, my fridge is on it 24/7, my freezer comes on at 9am and go off at 5pm, AC with similar setup but ofcourse these all depends on how much power you generate daily. |

essegis: You know shipment is done mainly with size than with weight, but I've always known this pack would be heavy. Even the way Big Battery handled it showed it had some weight to it. They didn't use the conventional way to move it to my couriers. Also sure it was crated to which will add to the size.
Anyway, see a grabbed part of the invoice. Showed weight and dimensions. Oh okay it was a sea freight, almost 200kg wow! But ultimately it's not a bad deal at all. This would have taken up to 3 months right? |
