Sadly the vendors of that battery on here seem to be tactically evading that one million naira inquiry - whether it is real 200ah or just audio 200ah. I can see that it's the potential buyers on here that is trying to ascertain that fact for 'emselves.

Me I would just be observing like bat (in Fayose's voice) waiting for a lab rat to give the review grin
The aspect of 200AH has already been clarified. It's now 3.75kw (150AH) that is written on the 24v battery. Whether it gives that much remains a puzzle

Have you tried checking with MPP for payment through PayPal? Just like eBay

I was tempted to buy the felicity lithium, but I'm also waiting for some detailed review by an experienced person, preferably from here.
Bros someone has to buy it first o and you will be good to do us that favour grin

On a more serious note, it's a 150AH battery on paper, we need to confirm if the entire juice is consumable or at least 90%

Able gurus in this community, thank you for all you've been doing.

Though I have been using water to replace it since January 2020. What do I need to do please?
You have a leakage somewhere on the radiator do a check on that

Anyone knows where I can get 100KVA inverter?
Found some on jiji when I searched you may want to try that out. Else check the MPP inverters, they have up to 400kva

Thanks I want to buy and need to know the durability of his products.
Actually he does not have his products, he sells what he buys and he sells products of different manufacturers. If you are wondering whether he sells genuine products some of them are but from my experience it really depends on what you want but all the stuff I have bought from him are as expected some genuine and others clones as applicable

Thats the plan my brother, e no easy. Thanks.
Though it's still a large set of parallel string but I guess it's still better, you could have gotten larger cell capacity to reduce the need to parallel. Don't know if they exist in your kind of cell chemistry though
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojeysky(m): 8:17am On May 27, 2020

This is a different angle I was not aware of so let me state the facts. David Poz had 8 modules which he connected 4 in parallel then the 2 sets in series to give a 48v system (4p2s). He then connected the individual cells of a string in parallel, that is for 4 batteries at a time.

I am buying 6 batteries and would want to connect them all in parallel for a 24v system. So the cells of all 6 batteries I will be connecting in parallel, how do you see this?

Actually, during the capacity test of the batteries David alluded to the parallel cells helping and adding an extra 1kwh to the system. If I don't do this I will have to buy 6 BMS & 6 active chargers to be able to run my system oo. Abeg that no be small money. QNBBM costs in excess of $150 each.
I have no experience of how these particular cells perform but from what you've stated above, I will suggest that if going parallel is your only option, then do parallel at cell level first before you then put them in series so you have one large bank of 24v instead of multiple(6) banks/strings of 24v in parallel.

Yeah but I finally figured it out. David Poz was a big influence in my purchase of the BYD batteries. I have watched his videos and set ups countless times.

The batteries actually have 8 cells, not 7 like you mentioned and he connected his in 48v set up. I will be connecting mine in 24v set up then parallel all the individual cells like he did. This will help me eliminate having multiple BMS as system will be one big pack.

His capacity test was a failure though and people actually complained about the batteries especially as they didn't meet up the rating by battery hookup. I have bought them so will just have to deal with what I see when it arrives. If not for COVID-19 I'm sure it would have been here. Thanks though.

See my diagram of what I think is the parallel connection he did.
Is having 8p of strings not too much? I think it's usually better to reduce parallel strings as much as possible so weaker strings don't kill the stronger sets.

Isn't 150w panel to charge 120ah lithium inadequate especially if used to power appliances simultaneously?
I believe the designers of this product have it in mind to be used as emergency power or for things such as camping when you can have it pre-charged for use. It may also be good for laptop users.
I think it's too small as well but I think that's why there are other charging source, what is not clear is whether combined charging is possible

Why not buy shares from zenith or GTB and get the dividends annually, Zenith did at least 2naira annually so even buying at 20naira will still be 10% profit annually or is there something am missing as to why the gurus are not suggesting this route?

from my experience i noticed that only mppt controllers can effectively charge LifePo4 batteries. Pwm's dont charge them .
I think someone on this thread has indicated that his pwm does charge his LFP; So long as the controller has adjustable voltage and current I don't see why not. However have got no pwm experience on Lifepo4

Yes even though it came largely balanced, I still top balanced so whoever buys just plug and play don't have to go through balancing process. Hopefully it's helpful to the buyer

Complicated delivery options has made the cells to still be with me, but I have kept it busy while it's with me. Though cells came with max of 0.003v difference, it has been balanced irrespective. For now I have delivery option through bus to Abuja, Akure, Onitsha and Lagos, other location will be via GIG logistics and their shipping is between 12 to 15k.
Still available for sale!

For top balancing, you connect all the cells in parallel and charge them to full. That way they all attain full volts the same time time and stay there.

I know it's from probably 2.5v but even the 24v charger doesn't do that na. Thanks for the link though. With the shipping I'm seeing so you sure say you make any cash at all so? Well, good to have humanitarians like you around. Na to organise award give you for end of the year grin grin grin
Yes I see your point on that, but there is also the situation where you already have a bank and want to let your internal BMS do the balancing but due to the low current of most of them, charging at low current will also be important... Though that takes longer process but may be the only option for those that don't want to decouple. On the other note, cumulative shipping reduces as you increase quantity.
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojeysky(m): 10:14am On May 23, 2020
essegis:
For top balancing you don't even need it at 12v, you need the top volts of individual cells which is about 4.2v depending on owner.

As the 12v charger could be adjusted from 1v upwards that was what made it the only option for the top balancing.

You never still share the link though.
Oh okay you meant top balancing a single cell, I thought you meant for the battery bank. Fyi the 12v can be adjusted from 2.9v not from 1v
