Princecanada: This will be my first car. Need a car that is fuel efficient and durable. Which would you suggest?
I know Corolla is fuel efficient but has less power compared to the 406 and DC. Also I don't want a car that would give me unnecessary hypertension as the Corolla is prone to theft.

Many thanks for your inputs... After reviewing your comments in addition to more research. I have decided not to go for either cars. I will be settling for the 2005 C230 Kompressor instead. I do hope I have a good experience with it. I have a sharp one if I interested - fully toks

sabcurr: I was given an estimate of 2.6m to clear 2013 LEXUS GX460 {GRIMALDI} by my agent, Should I be WORRIED? Want to know before I drop him and his quote like a bad habit!!!! It's an SUV and the car would have higher value than Camry 2012 for instance.. I think you may need to check with him on the amount that will be on the customs document. If it will be more than 2m then fine else look for another agent |

So I’m just looking for the right stocks to buy I’m a novice in NSE If you have the nerves then japaul or neimeth. However this is just a non-binding buy advice, make your decision independently |

Skymoore1004: Guys I just joined this thread from US stock market. I would have started from page one but omo that’s almost 5k pages to go through.
Please no vex, can someone suggest the top Nigerians stock to buy and how many shares will be sufficient to see gain? Is the NSE booming at all like the US market? I am willing to buy stock of up to 200k if need be.
Please advise, thank you in advance You need to provide more clarity. 200k japaul will be different from 200k nestle both in stock and amount |

Does anyone or agent here know, how much will clear a 2013 LEXUS Gx460 for a Compromise valuation based on the current exch rate? This is urgent.

Dam5reey: Not really
That test was based on Lead acid batteries and not Lithium..
On 48V you draw less current, on 24V you draw more current..
Since you have lithium, efficiency is the same when you draw 100A from 100Ah and when you draw 10A from 100Ah. No difference.. You have brought a new interesting perspective to this, while indeed there may be no major difference with lithium compared to lead acid a difference will still exist if we factor in conversion efficiency. |

Oshomo12: Thanks for the datasheet. Kindly check the figures very well, 24v @1500 on a 200ah gives 164mins while 48v @1500va on a 100ah gave 158mins! 48v@100ah(4800whr) 24v@200ah(4800whr) Pls, let me know if I am looking at this the wrong way. I am looking at it in a different way which may not necessarily be the wrong way as you put it. I am focusing on 24v @200ah which is 164min and 48v @200ah 402min. On a normal basis one would have expected 48v @200 to be 164x2= 324min but it's instead a whopping 402min. So that simply means that there is lower loss with 48v than it is with 24v. I hope that helps |

Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by ojeysky(m): 1:45am On Jun 04, 2020 |
Oshomo12: Kindly note that the efficiency difference of 12v, 24v and 48v is very very minimal, not more than 1%. The advantage of 48v system is in the cable size. Less stress with cable, eg 12v 5000w, I will be dealing with nothing less than 120mm2 while at 48v 5000w, 50mm2 is very generous. Yeah cable was what I thought to be the only major advantage as well, until I saw the figures MPP was throwing around (took some time off to read about what I will be getting with the 48v). 1.5kw of load on a 24 200AH gives about 170 mins backup time but same load on a 48v 200AH gives over 400min(which is 200min if we are to match kWh capacity) so I get 30min extra backup time running 48v 100AH battery as against 24v 200AH

ojeysky: Finally MPP is sending me a replacement board for my GK (the Comms panel was not the pro, it was the main board), but they are sending me 5kva instead.....guess they are out of stock on 3kva Boards, I screamed at them small sha.
However, I think it's blessing in disguise just that the blessing means more expenses for me as I need to now go 48v. I will be putting up some of my 24v backup LFP gears up for sale to anyone interested soon. Apparently it seem MPP took that part serious, they withdrew the 48v and sent me the 24v. When I insisted on 48v they claim that after further check the it won't be compatible with 3kva container though they had earlier indicated that they are compatible. I was already looking to experience 48v efficiency |

ceaser: Good. I had doubts if the 24v/100ah will do fine on AC. The AC is the reason I got it and the set up will most likely power the AC only. Maybe occasionally other appliances like water dispenser or an extra fridge if it can give that allowance. But mainly it's for the AC.
How long d'you think the backup after sundown from 24v/100ah will be with your kind of AC? And the number of panels that'll be required?
There's a 60A MPPT on ground, thinking of getting one more in case panel requirements exceed that allowable by one pcs 60A MPPT. Also there's a 1200w/2400w pure wave on ground. 60A is already more than 0.5C so I think that's already okay. I usually don't charge my cells beyond 0.5C even though it can take 1C it could impact upon the lifespan in the long run. Your 24v/100AH should serve your AC well(especially if it's energy saving) it's just the duration that matters, I will suggest you apply a max discharge of 0.5C as well and then plan with that. |

ceaser: Neither an increase nor an overhaul. Just an extra system. Meant for a different 24v system. The 12v LFPs are still very much in active service.
16 cells? That means your bank is 24v/200ah. I had it in mind it was 100ah all this while.
My question on your experience with your use of the LFP and MPP with an air condition is still unanswered. Yes it's 200AH, it worked fine though I currently use felicity hybrid and that works also. My AC is GenPal but consumption is lower |

ceaser: Congrats on the free upgrade.
Meanwhile I just finished my order for 24v/100ah LFP about 36hrs ago and now you're just coming out with this. Na wa for you o.
But I think if you are able to get more 3.2v/100ah prismatic LFPs (I strongly believe that's what your pack is made of) and a 48v BMS, you should be able to reconfigure your battery to 48v.
Were you able to use the MPP and the LFP battery with air conditioner satisfactorily? Yeah the current bank I have actually has 16 105AHs and I may indeed reconfigure that but since I intend to sell off later will just make do until I do my planned upgrade. So no congratulations is due yet until the deed is done However congratulations on your LFP purchase, is that a capacity increase or overhaul? |

NiyiOmoIyunade: You are clearly a man of the purest devotion to his art/dedication to his passion - if you are willing to swap out a functional bank of 24 LFP just because you got a 48v board replacement
I foresee some cool moves in your future boss!!! Lol..... let's just say it's my love for MPP and my curiosity on the 48v efficiency level in practice. Am expecting some cells which I intend to use for 24v and increase my capacity, will just reconfigure for 48v. It's still a long wait though, not going to happen this month. All depends on Bros covid-19 and naija govt |
