CaptainKool15:Do you mind sharing here as well |
ksmart027:There is a 08 and 07 toks you may reach me if interested. |
If you need a Honda Civic, a toks 08 Civic just landed(yet to be cleaned up) and it's up for sale let me know if interested. Mileage 144k can provide vin if requested.

ceaser:Abi o, I bought one of this at quite high price, I liked it and wanted to buyer another one but then I stumbled on a cheaper source....I just vex buy 2 instead. ![]() |
earthrealm:That will be too much for me already, will be good to know which route you finally take so I can learn/ride on your experience. Kindly keep me/us posted Sir. |
ceaser:Thanks I didn't even pay close attention to the voltage..... that's at least 3x300w. I guess DC pump is not yet an option for borehole then |
justcallmenuel:Anyone using this kind of DC pumping machine? I like to specifically know if it's a worthwhile investment or whether going the normal AC pumping is better |
Gantautos:Cheap is relative, what's your budget. If you can do up to 100usd then I will recommend bluedriver |
adrusa:The one I am using is from a seller on jiji, it's the 200AH 24V for 450k and it's so far so good from my end but am yet to do a true capacity test of it.... |
Looks like lithium market is going to be interesting this year, ofcourse with expectation for some disappointments as well. There is a 12v 200AH lifepo4 now at 190k its branded Pelton Lithium Ion Battery(google it). Had extensive discussion with seller and his sounds quite interesting. Any one trying this or have tried it already? |
Need a bmv 712 kit with temp sensor. Anyone got for sale? (Used or new) |
mymadam:You mean you don't know how to copy and paste but you know how to post the message above. Hmm....isorite |
seanfer:If that does not work, try a new radiator. That was the fix in my case |
earthrealm:Though not my handle, I was still seeing them on AliExpress few days ago, this may be a temporary issue hence you may check again within the week. You can also buy directly from them by sending your order request to Peggy at peggy@mppsolar.com It's actually cheaper that way than buying from AliExpress |
kulbethrand:Has this offloaded yet? |
kiekie1:I just did a quick check on 2 things that are not technical related: - For a 24v 200Ah setup I will be doing 200kg in weight. - At 1.2v nominal I will need 20 pieces and that is space as well. Coming from a lead acid to LFP and then to nickel may be termed from grass to grace to weed ![]() |
kiekie1:RPC strongly advises against Nickel Iron batteries for home solar systems.....If you need high quality deep cycle batteries, take a look at these Lead Acid or Lithium-ion batteries. https://www.rpc.com.au/solar-news/161/disadvantages-of-nickel-iron-batteries.html |
peeps4u:I use the specs 0w20 |
I need a good lifpo4 external battery charger for 8s, will appreciate any recommendation. I found some on AliExpress but will be good if I can get one locally |
ICraft:Thanks for the clarification. I heard those lithium ion are quite dangerous for newbies if charging and connections is not handled properly but I can see that you are Pro DIY user wey pass my level. Make people like us dey manage LFP jeje ![]() |
kulbethrand:Finally, now fingers crossed! Thanks |
My 2010 Camry seem to be burning oil sightly, I thought this oil burn whala was to the 07-09 range. I may move to higher weight (currently 0w20) at next my service but is there anyone that experienced this and any possible fix to it? |
ICraft:I agree that putting the lithium consistently at 100% DOD will certainly affect life span in the long run (just as doing 50% lead will as well). However the intention was to give a capacity equivalent else I will actually say the better DOD spot for a lead acid will be 20/30% while that of lithium is good at 70/80%. That way the lead acid may be able to survive up to 75% life span of a lithium. It still won't last the years of a good lithium but should be close. That said, am curious at your lithium voltage figures, do you mean your batteries actually hold voltage at 4.1v? As that seem like a max charge voltage to me (though I don't even get the high in my case). |
Barezzi:Am open to correction Sir, I assumed 100% DOD for lithium and 50% DOD for Lead Acid....Oya tell me where I misyarn |
simydan:Can you share you prices here Sir ![]() |
DUNKA:The way I understand it 12v 200AH lead acid = 12v 200AH lithium. The difference comes in the depth of discharge..... while you can use lithium entirely without issues, doing so with lead acid will kill it faster. So if we work with 50% DOD as safe depth for lead acid then the equivalent for lithium will be 24V 200AH X 2 12V 200AH X 4 48V 200AH Gurus in the house may know better though ![]() |
Ojaysport:It really depends on what you need or what your pocket can afford. Mine is a 24v 5.4kw at 450k. There sure other top brands that costs more....those got way more better packaging, logging, bells and whistles but mine works as I hoped for and that's all that matters. |
rationalmind:Okay I think we were talking about 2 different things, I was just only referring to the overall cost to get it to naija..... excluding repairs (which I guess is what the OP @aberyomi09 does). Ofcourse cost of repair can be another thing entirely and yes if that is what you meant then that is indeed a gamble |
rationalmind:There are ways to tell, if you know you know ![]() |
aberyomi09:This one was the baddest buy, sure overall cost of this will be way less than the target price! |
hancock:Yes o.... infact having learnt that I can introduce new battery at any time without negative effect, I am hoping I to get another 5.4kwh by end of the year[1] so I can add to my existing 5.4kwh. The stuff is small but mighty...the way it withstand temporary current demand spikes is amazing! Cheers! [1] Assuming the performance of current one continue as it's currently experienced. |
Folks if you can, go lithium FP mine has been throwing great performance thus far! |
