Valto: thanks. had my double door LG fridge repaired by changing internal condenser to an outside one. power consumption jumps down from the previous 195w to 110w Cool and how is the performance after that and does the power reduce over time? There was a time my 219t freezer developed a fault and stopped working, I called a technician to fix it (or so I thought) unfortunately since then, the freezer has been on high freezing consuming over 250w. I just resolved to utilize my fridge more. |

Kyri: Dear Gazzuz, I think my C300 is starting to guzzle fuel.I went from full tank to half tank in 6 days (I didn’t travel anywhere) Any ideas? As one who used to be a fuel consumption enthusiast(not anymore), I will say your car is great because I can do half tank in few hours with my car and it still does not mean it's consuming fuel. You will need to give more information such as litre to miles utilisation. The driving pattern also matter. Lots of other factors could impact fuel consumption |

bigrovar: Hi guys. . The result is the dashboard which displays in real time the system performance http://energy.bobby.com.ng/dashboard/view?id=14 (The energy log is abit off, I generated 9kwh yesterday but it is reading 18kwh so it needs a little tweaking).
In all the system is a mid sized setup to power a moderate load of about 450w (day time load) and 250w - 90w load at night. From the battery monitoring usually pull about 90AH - 100AH from the battery bank at night which is about 25-30% dod. Fridge and freezer go off by 6pm and comes on by 9am This is cool, If it's a normal fridge I think you can still leave it on without issues (my freezer comes on by 10am and off by 4pm). I don't know why but I think my fridge pulls lesser power through the night (less than 50w) so I leave it on and am still at 50% DoD by morning (off-grid on a 300A battery bank). What has been your peak hervest on the 3kw array? |

tonididdy: You are so nice bro with your responses. If this is 90% then I do get 13.5v (as I type now, my gen is on and the CC displays 13.5v) That is not the actual battery voltage, it's rather the charging voltage and can go up to 15v depending on the type of battery, CC settings or the state of charge. |

hooged: Dear gazuz and guru in the house Kindly help
Please I'm having issue with my 2007 Toyota corolla, the temperature rise a little bit above average, I was told the radiator is single cell, I had to purchase a tokunbo double cell radiator and the temperature still rise above average, pics attach pls what can I do rectify it. Are you running stock status i.e is radiator fan not rewired to be always on? Is the radiator running original coolant or water? You may also need to be sure the radiator is not clogged up and that fan is running at normal intervals. However please don't go with the idea of double cell sh***t, if there is a change in the temperature, single or double cell is the least of the problem. Sometime ago, I had similar issue(my temp goes higher than yours) and it happened to be bad radiator, bought a new single cell and problem solved. If the single cell wasn't going to be sufficient for the car, the oyinbo won't put it there. |

It is not All In One. The package should include a separate solar panel. I actually prefer this because you can position both the light and panel separately for best efficiency. Share spec, pictures and price |

Topmost11: I have decided to change my panels from parallel connection to 2S2P and see how it goes. But I shall still retain the PWM controller. I observed shading is much on it these days. As of 4pm yesterday, almost 80% is shaded. I am thinking of raising the height from 3feet to about 10feet to eliminate the shade which is caused by fence. Pole is the new height i am considering. Relocation is out of the question. Any other/better suggestions? Thanks That pole height might be too high, once you achieve a height sightly higher than the fence then you should not experience shading from the fence. Shading is a killer so try to address it, am currently working on mine |

Oshomo12: It's ur pole right? RELOCATE THE POLE!!! Yes it's my pole but there is more devil in the details of the pole which has to do with electric cable slag (according to my electrician), as the distance between the pole and the house may become too much if we have to relocate it. Will explore further though. Thanks |

Okay it seem shading is the problem; there is an electric pole beside my panels that seem to cause the problem. Can any of the gurus advice on how I can get to fix this? is there anything like shading reflector or something? I can't even think of relocating the panels and I don't think relocating the like will help much either. I really need to find a workaround to this as I have been under-utilizing my array. ojeysky: Hello folks,
I am trying to get my head around this; I have noticed that since I added 2 more panels and got 4 new batteries my instantaneous hervest in amps has never gotten above 5amps. However when I was using 6 Panels with 2 batteries, there was a day I got 8.2amps. Today I decided to test the 2 panels to be sure they are giving out the right voltage and everything checked out.
My question is whether this is normal behaviour; does more batteries mean lesser amperage generation?
