Which is the best quality of solar panels to consider in the market.

You need to provide more details, will all the bulbs remain on at the same time? What's your concurrent total wattage? How many hours on power supply do you desire in a day? as it's easier to plan with those information.

That said, my quick take is that you remove those 2 items in bold from your list then your budget will be less 1m but with those 2 items, you are looking at over 2m budget to get reasonable number of hours in a day.

Okay, since the check engine isn't permanent on the dash I think you need to look at other areas.

1. Tune up, plugs, cleaning throttle body, changing Engine air filter, recommended oil weight if still possible.

2. tyres and Tyre pressure.

3. leaking exhaust even if it is a small leak.

So I found a leak on my v6 HL (around the front joints) and I got it fixed, to my surprise my car now seem to consume more fuel. I do over 200 miles with 50litres before, now am doing less than 180 miles. My mass air flow rate which used to settle at 3g/s on idle is now at over 4g/s. My STFT and LTFT are also throwing strange figures

Still observing to see if all these add up as it does not seem to make sense for now.

I don't no discharge voltage because the inverter did not show meter, it only shows ON on the front panel.

Since you connected in series it means you only have 200AH 24v battery set-up, putting a consistent load of 650w is definitely too much and that explains why the battery died early

If the inverter is charging it we show CH. From CH to 99.1%

At what percentage does it read low battery? The deeper the depth of discharge(DoD), the faster the battery gives up the ghost.

Am afraid you will still have same issue if you buy another battery, so I suggest you either reduce yoyouru load or decide on the number of backup time you require then build a battery bank based on that. A consistent 650w load on 200ah 24v battery should not run for more than 30min (to keep the DoD at 50%).

You need to provide more information

1. How do you charge the batteries?
2. How are the batteries connected?
3. How much load (in wattage) goes the battery support?
4. How often go you discharge the battery and to what battery voltage level do you discharge to?

@3kva 24v MPP solar MK or GK series, you seem to praise it a lot, does it have that capability as well? How did you go about shipping, its a whooping $236, via dhl...pretty steep if you ask me. i recall u said the seller offers discount , since the hybrid inverter is $375, like how much discount are we looking at?

I have the GK series, I think shipping was 199usd in my case, when I bought mine it was about 50usd cheaper than the price on AliExpress so you should be saving a total of about 100usd if you buy directly from the manufacturer.

If I had known what I know now, I would have been using synthetic when I bought the car. But I only got to know about synthetic from Nairaland after I had used it for 4years or more.

Did you eventually buy a new engine? Just a note, my toks 02 HL was burning oil between service intervals. Changing the rear valve cover to the 3rd Gen revision fixed the problem. So if you got a new engine or did a rebuild try to ensure you have the 3rd Gen rear cover (the one that comes with 3mz is also fine). I have attached pictures....a lot of people with HL 01-03 (early 03) will find this helpful.

I suggest you get the 3kva 24v MPP solar MK or GK series. It has inbuilt 80A charge controller (mk is 60A) and should be within your budget.

Put a DC Clamp meter around the +ve or -ve battery cable with the AC loads disconnected - adjust or compensate appropriately if your meter is sensitive to the direction of current flow.

Amps × Battery Voltage will give you how many watts are being consumed.

The GK series inverter is transformerless so barring any superior engineering should likely have less idle consumption than a transformer based inverter.

The idle consumption for the 24v models (no load applied) maxes out at 80w.

The inverter self consumption (energy consumed internally by the inverter while powering loads) is about 40-60w max. This is often the real factor to measure as the inverters are all capable of bypass charging (allow battery charging while switched off).

That seem quite high, my GK series inverter has <35w in its documentation. Does anyone know how I can find the actual idle consumption of the inverter?

There was a time a discussion about how to connect batteries in series/parallel but can't seem to find that discussion again.
Please I have 4 X 150AH 12v AGM batteries and like to know how best to connect them together for a 24v setup?

Don't be too sure on that, he is a service provider and I expect feedbacks will be useful for him, which is normally for improvement, so it's possible for people to do anything if there is determination.

That said, Gazzuz has lots of customers I guess what also matters is whether the opinion is shared by reasonable number of customers (especially the important customers ;-) ) that will be for him to figure out though.

As to the other part, well if we all live absolutely separately then Gazzuz and I no go chop; I won't be able to fix my car for daily commute and Gazzuz won't be able to render service as well.

No doubt he his one of the most experienced automobile engineer I ever meet and I have written a piece about my experience with him in the past. However I will also add that he's got one of the strangest attitude that I have also experienced in a client to customer relationship. No one is perfect though but I hope he works on his attitude!
