IPOB has made it clear (SO MANY TIMES) the type of Biafra that they want to set up yet the minorities still reject the idea. Yes is true IPOB hasnt consulted them directly but if the Minorities where interested, they would have found ways to reach out and discuss. Rather what they all did was the opposite. they came out to reject Biafra.

@ the bolded, I completely agree.
We can move on without them, whenever they are willing they are free to come for negotiations.

My brother please tell me whats the difference between his proposal and the current IPOB proposal? Not one single difference. Yet the minorities even hate IPOB more and more. lol

It time we Igbos wake up and Start fighting for our Own Interest. The wise ones know exactly what I am saying cc; Pazienza
Proposal is different from IPOB position that includes everybody from former Eastern Region as Biafrans without due consultation and without them consenting to it.
I mean, if we mutually agree to form a country together I see nothing wrong with it.
Having said that, i do not also like dragging unwilling partner along with you.

I will rather us all stay and perish together in fake one Nigeria than to form a country with Minority groups who are very quick to accuse you of marginalization, domination and land grabbing.

Do not underestimate the Igbophobia in our own backyard.

I reject Nnamdi Kanu's IPOB biafra.

Say yes to Igboland republic.

Everybody should fight for their destiny. That way no one will be accused or ganged up against.

Rise up and Fight for Igbo interest ONLY!!.
That proposal isn't bad, we can have a similar union like England, Scotland and Wales for mutual benefit. Is time we keep our emotions in check.

And you think that those chosen as leaders of the respective break away regions will suddenly develop an ingrained honesty and effective leadership style? Lmfao. Looting is not limited to Nigerian leaders, nor do leaders suddenly become dishonest upon assumption of their post. Every Nigerian, from conductor to religious leader is complicit. The average Nigerian generally aways prefers today's personal gain over future nation building... I don't expect an answer to this, but statistically speaking, it is very likely that you and I have also engaged in unethical financial practise for personal gain at one time or the other. In which case, we would have no moral right to accuse the leaders; just because they had a better opportunity than we did. Who knows what each of us would do if presented with the kind of opportunity they have today?
I strongly believe breakaway republics will do far better than this current arrangement we've made no progress as a nation in 60 years.
Take for example,if we achieve independent in eastern Nigeria today we will be able to elect our leaders without external influences and will not depend on Abuja for our infrastructure and security needs. We can be able to hold our leaders more accountable than what we have now.

This minister don't know what to say anymore.

Kidnapping is on the rise because you and your principal is injecting Nigerians with poverty, strife and general lack of direction.

Is it because of Nollywood that Policemen connive with individuals to kidnap?

Is it because of Nollywood that your government cannot give us stable electricity to do business, thereby encouraging kidnapping?

Is it because of Nollywood that Police would say there's no fuel on their vehicles when there is report of ongoing attempt to kidnap?

How many times has Hollywood shot movies showing attacks on the White House? And how many times had anyone or entity attempted to attack the White House?

Go and do your job minister and leave Nollywood alone
Ask him if Fulani bandits watch Nollywood movies.

It's not emotional rather it's the best thing to do.

I totally agree. Well better late than never. I do not blame any leaders for that. Nigerians are not very sincere in moving forward. They just bitch, gripe and hate on each other and on whatever government is in power at the moment. Hardly the best method of moving forward.
That is the very reason I Will never oppose any region that wants to pull out from this unserious country.

It is not only about oil. It's about agriculture, trade and infrastructure. Each region contributes to the whole. And the situation you paint is not feasible in the near future. Even if the world abandons crude oil, it will not be in one day. There will be sufficient time to prepare for the gradual diversification. A break up does not permit any opportunity for that preparation.
The train has left Nigeria behind already many oil producing countries have already diversified their economy while developed countries are moving towards green energy.
Nigeria leaders are not done looting our common wealth so have no time to plan for your future.

Are you for real? Do you compare the population of Nigeria in the pre-oil era to today's population? And even then, the pre-oil economy was largely dependent on Northerm agriculture. Have you not heard of the groundnut pyramids of the early twentieth century. While the western region did have some cocoa and palm plantations, its economy was never that self sufficient.
Talking about oil, they have oil in Lagos and Ondo states abi na cashew oil them discover there?
So if the world finally abandon crude oil like coal tomorrow Nigerians will perish in hunger abi?

Ghana has gold dollars. Ghana also has Fulani herdsmen. But see how Ghana used their version of what we denounced as RUGA to solve it.

And, p.s.! Nigeria is not "poverty capital of the world"! Only ignorant fools who haven't seen the poverty in other countries think so.
What statistics counts is number of people below poverty level in every country. Unfortunately Nigeria has that in millions.
Ghana has gold right? I thought countries can only survive through petrodollars.
We reject RUGA in whatever form, buy land and ranch your bloody cows.

Like from the Republic of Northern Nigeria, right, and with, well, definitely not with petrodollars, since that would belong to the Republic of South South Nigeria.
Are those countries without petrol dollars starving, Is Ghana, SA and many more are they not meeting up with their needs even more than Nigeria that is now poverty capital of the world?

I [s]remember when northern trailer drivers went on a 3-day strike not so long ago. Yoruba land was reeling from shortage of meat, tomato, pepper and onions, while truck loads were rotting in the North. I can imagine what will happen if this proposal is put into place. The fact is, no region in Nigeria can successfully survive on its own. It will take at least 3 to 4 generations to set up each region to be fully self sufficient, even with the best of intention, accurate data and absolute efficiency.

They would also do well to remember that a high volume of the goods from trade and industry in Yoruba land is either consumed in, or transited via, the East or in the North. This childish reaction of a tribal form of "I will not play with you again" everytime the soon hits the pot is getting irritating[/s].

Nwanne, many SEners are not insulting Anioma for no reason.
Many do so because Anioma has created the room for the likes of Ojieh to unleash their madness, since he knows there would be no repercussions.

Since Ojieh made this comment, has the Asagba of Asaba, Obi of Agbor or any other Anioma group come out publicly to deassociate with him and debunk his claims?
The answer is no. So it is not out of place for those of us in SE to interpret this silence as passive support. Ojieh is not just a random individual, he is a head of an Anioma organization, telling Ndiigbo in SE to ignore him, with no widespread condemnation of his shameful act by Anioma royal houses and top people, is insincerity on part of any Anioma person.

It is beginning to look like Anioma want to eat their cake and have it. You want to be Igbo and non Igbo sometimes, because you have figured it offers you a form of political flexibility . You can let the deranged ones like Ojieh claim they are not Igbos and spite Ndiigbo when it's expedient, without your prominent institutions and personalities calling them to order or denouncing them publicly, while the seemingly Igbo Anioma people snoop in and take Igbo share of national cake when it's expedient with those of us in SE not being able to challenge it, so as not to be seen to be dividing the Igbo house.

Reason it well yourself, devoid of emotions. If Ojieh and his likes are able to make vitriolic sweeping comments like this without a media reply by Anioma royal fathers and relevant organizations, then what you or any Anioma person has to say on this, doesn't and shouldn't matter, and Ndiigbo in SE will be stupid to continue receiving this bullshit from that quarter, 50years post civil war.
At a point, enough has to be enough.
Ikechunna is a clown that makes pro Igbo noise on social media while his Obi and other Anioma leaders regularly pay homage to Oba of Benin.
As you rightly stated, you will not hear fimm from the so called pro Igbo groups from Anioma to rebuke Ojei while non entity like Ikechunna will come here to insult his fathers
My advice is, Ndi Igbo should forget about Anioma and remove them from our social cultural groups, they bring nothing to the table than shame, pain and calamity..
Ka anyi mara Ka anyi ha biko nu.

oga if u dont know try ask those wey know.

its an open secret that chukwuma patrick kaduna nzeogwu's mother is fulani from one of their royal families.

nzeogwu is a distant nephew to tafawa balewa - and he was so loved by Tafawa balewa - hence his fast rise in rank in the nigerian army.

till today, the north still regard nzeogwu as their son and they believed that what he did, he did it out of patriotism.

are you even aware that despite fighting on the biafran side, kaduna nzeogwu's body was taken from nsukka were he died in action back to kaduna and buried with full military honors in kaduna state.

nzegwu was never branded a traitor nor persona-non-Grata by the Nigerian government despite his major role in the events that led to the civil war.

any ways, since you know where his mother is from, do kindly educate us.
Are you sure you are not mistaken General Ike Nwachulwu for Nzeogwu?
Ike we all know his mother was Hausa/Fulani.

Emeka Esogbue became an Igbo denier because of SE. He has even mentioned on more than one occasion that he turned from pro-Igbo to not seeing Anioma as Igbo due to his experiences of being denied as Igbo by SE Igbos thus, did not feel he needs to validate himself anymore for you bastards. Lauerta Onochie is from an APC stooge and have insulted Igbos the exact same way SE Igbos leaders have in APC have insulted Igbos. I'm guessing Joe Igbokwe, Okorocha, Kalu, etc are all Anioma right? Lastly, when have Kachuikwu insulted or belittled Igbo? When?

Secondly, how will your savage infested blood know wtf happening on this forum. I guess you missed the several times Aniomas that used to be on this forum repeatedly fought to get savages like yourself to see our identity. Then again, I'm not shocked your idiotic self actually reported I've not spoken against Igbo deniers on this forum nor spoken against Laureta onochie comments, therefore, it displayed you knew absolutely nothing except the shit you pull out of your asses. I suggest go and reread several arguments you lots have had on this forum insulting and belittling Aniomas. Majority of Aniomas left you pigs on this forum because they are tired of arguing and dealing with SE idiots like you. Similar to them, I'm equally tired but, I promised myself I'll give you pigs a taste of your medicine before I go. Cry me a fucking river for finally getting that medicine you bastards have been dishing for years.

You Anioma folks have yourselves to blame for providing the ammunition with which the traducers and enemies of the Igbos are attempting to undermine and disparage the Igbos.
