why is it that people are not always objective when commenting. All I can see is sentimental comments. Many clergymen and Christian have been kidnapped without attacking their G.O or founder. There are so many underground work and move going on that some us are not and may not privy to. Let's be careful of the way we attack elders.

Daddy Freeze gives brilliant response to Pastor Adeboye's son, Leke Adeboye, after he advised Nigerians to go back to farming and stop asking the church for money

Leke Adeboye, one of the sons of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, advised Nigerians in a video to go back to farming to meet their needs and stop asking the church for financial assistance.

Leke said in the video that Nigerians have gone out of recession but now face famine and to combat this problem, he asked Nigerians to go back to farming and the era of trade by barter. Whatever they are able to produce on their farms, he asked them to use those farm produce in exchange for those things they need but don't have.

He also warned against people writing letters to the church begging for financial assistance when they could have saved to avoid lack.

In reply, Freeze reminded him that charity begins at home and asked him why his father's church hasn't started collecting tithes and offering in grains and cattle like it was originally intended in the Bible.

This is another gross misinterpretation and application of God’s words.

In Math. 26:31, Jesus used the word in a positive light and there was not adversary intended...The full quote states...

“
This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: "'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'”

The passage was saying God himself will ‘strike’ the shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered, this was deliberate and intended, so they can go around the to preach the Good news to the ends of the world.

This is exactly what happened. When Jesus was crucified, the Bible said, they clustered around Jerusalem and were unwilling to leave until God ‘strike’ them with persecution which cause them to flee, we all remembered the gentleman call Saul, when became Paul that God used to ‘strike’ them.

This is what thrilled me in the whole tithe issue... The biblical verses not morbid fears of the words of the pastors.

None of these Pastors could even back their tithe collection with a verse... Just a verse that authorized them to take it, yet we say the government is our problem. I locked my sister out when she told me she's saving money for her tithe... This one na person wey no dey work o.
