... So I have to say something outside my usual puzzle. I commend who ever instigated this protest and also all those who made it possible. Nigerian youths ain't cowards after all, we are just patient and peace loving folks, the kind you can't easily find in the world today.

I might not have been part of the protest but my spirit,mind and soul was with you all, and most importantly, my prayers.

Finally I feel so privileged to say that it will remain in the Annals of the NYSC and it will be on record that the Indomitable and Inexpugnable A16 streamII spoke for their right and their voices were heard.

my guy as at 6pm abuja has over 200 active member ready for tmao. its already too much for me so i shut my whatsapp page and delegate the work to other admin to add pple pcm are callin me from neighbourIn state that they are comin to join us. our struggles wil nt be in vain.

am not sure of any arrangement in akwaibom, pls those that are in states where their is no arrangement for protest tomorrow should be fervent in the online protest why the physical protest is going on. We need to bombard them from different angles... They must definitely feel the heat tomorrow.

Your effort is well appreciated, the only condition that I think can reverse the decision to embark on this protest tomorrow is if nysc announce the date of stream 2 camping before the end of today and the date must not exceed next week otherwise the protest must be a done deal, pls try to get back to us here with the final conclusion in your group as regards the time of commencement and place to converge in Abuja, so that we can get the info across board to everyone... Aluta continua...

tnx mehn ... what we so far decided was that we will converge at unity fountain by 7:30-8am then by 8:45 we start the journey. dress code is white and white or white top only is welcome... Another issue that is on ground now is that we are in police station now and they said we will give them 22 hr but we told them NO because the protest is nation wide so Abuja will not be an exception. so protest will go on as schedule

Goodmorning guys, kudos to everyone that has made effort to make sure our voices are heard in one way or the other be it online protest or phone call to relevant stakeholders. I pray God will crown our efforts with resounding success, victory will be ours and we shall have cause to smile soon. I wasn't able to come online yesterday evening that is why I am not aware of the current agitation and arrangeement for a peaceful protest, I must say that I am with you guys wholeheartedly in embarking on a peaceful protest as our last resort to actualise our hope of going to camp next week. Nevertheless we still need to be fervent in our online protest because it seems the pressure we are mounting on them on social media as well as phone calls and text messages is yielding positive result, base on some of the phone converstation have listened to, I believe we now have a glimmer of hope that we will be in our various camp by next week. This does not mean we should relent in our struggle, because until victory is certain, struggle must continue. We need to map out strategies for the peaceful protest as our plan B which we will fall back on incase nysc fail to give us the good news we want to hear latest by wednesday. I will take it as an obligation to create necessary awareness in my various whatsapp group as regards this proposed protest and also ensure we can mobilise as many as possible PCMs to support our course. All I see is a bright light at the end of this long tunnel and by God/Allah grace we shall have cause to smile soon... Together will stand, divided we fall, aluta continua, Victoria ascerta...

sorry I was so busy with our abj residents WhatsApp to finalize the arrangements, on this issue we in Abuja have sent a letter to the commissioner of police here already and we have plans to bring media houses to the struggle. we have over 60 active PCM ready for the protest already, we will meet here in the night to decide whether to start it tmao or not.

I can't just imagine how disorganised a scheme that is left as the symbol of our national unity is. If it can't be sustained, why not scrap it?

Their incompetence is widely spread across all the cardinal programs of the scheme.

I hope for a positive development soonest. I've done and still doing everything possible from my end.

my guy seriously I'm frustrated already because many of our colleagues here are cowardice or they are claiming to be law abiding citizens, if not peaceful protest is the most feasible avenue to air our grievances. can you imagine that I invited my state of deployment WhatsApp group to come back to the thread to thrash out issues, the reply I got was "I should write complain letter to DG nysc". if I can even get like 20 people here in abuja then we will match to headquarters which I think will be the most feasible avenue to get the attention of DG himself but no one to back me up... Good day mr president, NYSC DG, my fellow nigerians and my fellow NYSC batch A stream 2 prospective corps members, i have a complaint to make, and i will try as much as possible to be brief about it.

I have come to believe that the body called NYSC is a corrupt body, but before i go further, i would like to state the meaning of corruption. The first meaning of corruption is that, according to oxford dictionary ''corruption is a dishonest or fradulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery'', but the one i would like to state is the second meaning of corruption which says that ''corruption is the process by which a word or expression is changed from its original state to one regarded as erroneous or debased'', the NYSC management has been changing everything since the beginning of the year.

It all started last year when the NYSC management postponed the NYSC 2015 Batch A orientation course, on the grounds that the election was on his way, that was understandable, now they brought that same postponement to the door step of the NYSC 2016 Batch A prospective corps members, when they first fixed the date for camping on the 2nd of march 2016, they postponed it to the 30th of march, on the grounds that the Federal Government has not signed the budget, we believe they had good reasons, so we waited till the 30th of march 2016, only to be told that the NYSC orientation course has been postponed to the 27th of april 2016 on the grounds that the federal government has not given them any funds, so we summon courage and became patient, until the 21st of april, when they told us that it is only the stream 1 pcm's that can print out their call up letter, the stream 2 pcm's have to wait till the 13th of may 2016, this has never happened in other years, i stand to be corrected, this is just a fradulent act, but not withstanding, we waited till the 13th of may 2016 only for us to print out our call up letter on the 17th of may 2016, with the hope of going to camp on the 21st of may 2016, we got another shocker of our life that the 2016 batch A stream 2 orientation course has been postponed indefinitely, on the grounds of logistics reasons, we are now afraid now, because after they fix another date, in which they might postpone it and tell us that '' they want to build a new camp for us, and change the old camp because it is archaic, or they might tell us that they want to buy prado jeeps for all the 2016 batch A stream 2 prospective corps members, so that we can be using it when we want to go to our place of primary assigment - PPA, as DG gen kazaure would always say, ''it is for better planning'',
NO NO NO, we cannot continue to agree with the NYSC management, they have failed us, if these excuses does not stop, it might continue in other years to come.

NYSC became a corrupt body when they robbed us of our hard earned money which we used to print our call up letter, some spent more than 500 naira, only for us to be told that we would need to re-print the call up letter again, please are we minting the money? Where do we get the money for that again?

NYSC became a corrupt body when they robbed us of our sleep, we now have sleepless night, too much of thinking.

The NYSC management can only prove that they are not corrupt, if and only if,
1- they fix a permanent date now, and they should never change it again.
2- let their YES be YES, and their NO be NO, we don't need flimsy excuses.
3- we need an official statement from the NYSC Management and the DG himself, apologising to us for the pain and suffering he has caused us.
If this conditions are not met, then NYSC is truly a corrupt body, and President buhari needs to prove to us that he is winning the war against corruption, by setting up a committee to investigate the corrupt pratices going on among the NYSC management, and apply the law on them.
Deceiving the public alone is corruption.

We need it so as to map out our strategy in ds struggle.We need a reliable informant(nysc staff in Abj) who alert us secretly any deadly move by the nysc to shift ds stream 11.

We would appreciate any PCM residing in Abj who can gather intelligence frm the hqtrss. We calll it in millitary reconnaiscence(reki).Spy on ur enemy to get information and to predict their next move.

my guy I went to their office on Friday last week but they could not allow me to even get close to the entrance because of security reasons. then I call my uncle to meet me outside because I'm tired of on phone conversation with him, when he finally came out. he told me categorically that they are no longer have access to any info from the DG office concerning date again, so that is why I didn't report it here. let continue on media protest please thanks.

yes Nigeria is not an Islamic state, but every religion is given its due right and respect. and I don't know of any general fasting any other religion partake in, except the one churches prescribe for its members.
