[quote author=Gbadugbakun post=140007258]One thing I've noticed about the world cup is that there are no surprises like the champions League. The top countries would always get to the semi finals all the time. The highest an average team who put in all the effort can reach is quarter final. From semi finals, the top teams dominate it. [/quote There are exceptions to a rule. Croatia was ranked 20th in the world by FIFA when they played in the 2018 World Cup Final against France. This made them the lowest-ranked team in history to reach a World Cup final. |
It's not new. Sir Kofo Abayomi did the same thing over 70 yrs ago! |
9ce content. At least you ve got people commenting because I dont want to believe that any sensible Human Being would write what you have just written - Impregnating your wife with the hope to deliver your look alike!!! |
As at 18 years ago when CR7 won his 1st World Player of the Year Award, many of these Super Eagles players were still in Primary School so, you can understand how it feels like sharing the same stage with the player you watched growing up. |
No Michael Jackson, Barak Obama, Queen Elizabeth II and Nelson Mandela? |
Desmond Elliot has experienced the Gains of Babasopecracy, now it's time for the Pains! Na so life be! |
The most unserious politician in Lagos. You left for PDP and came back after you were roundly beaten, and you expect to get the ticket ahead of those who remained in the party through thick and thin? You must be a joker! You better go and negotiate Deputy Governor, that's if Seyi is no longer in the calculation. |
You better apologize in advance for future infidelity because you will cheat again, and again, and again!!! |
These roublerousers arw here again. They just want to remain in the news |
You mean revenue dropped from 1.4 billion dollars to 1.2 Billion dollars? |
Sunday Dare; that boy still dey there? |
Congratulations to the Landlord. He has just been gifted a free building. |
This druggie is high again. Eyin ara Iwo, e ku ifarada o. |
The Synonym for Impunity is Tinubu. |
Governorship is between Ambode and Alausa (he will resign from the ministerial post soon) Deputy Governor - Seyi Tinubu. However, in all of these, may God's will be done. |
You can see how STUPID Sumday Igboho is. |
When i see the video, I will comment. I dont beleive Ibiyomei will be that naive and vane. |
Hi Poster, Please change the "Oil Well" in the caption to "Oil Block" They are 2 different things. Thanks |
And this one will say he's a Pastor. Nonsense. They have completely forgotten that they are there to serve us. While we understand that you may be too busy to answer calls but that response leaves much more to be desired. |
This woman is just misfiring all over the place, just because Trump recognizes her at an event. But she forgot to tell us that a TV station in America refused to have her on their show. |
He didn't even ask where he got the money to afford millions of dollars worth of watches. God help Nigeria with these commercial Pastors! |
Wike thinks he's the only one who knows how to play politics..okay oooo, we dey watch. |
Ariku's son, Obj's daughter and many other children of opposition joining APC, I am not completely sure it's because they love APC. Something tells me they may be moles. |
Omooba77:You mean "had" ? Baba don go ooo |
This FG commendation is suspicious. Funke, watch out for FIRS (now NRS) as they come knocking on your doors. I am sure you have a good tax consultant. This new tax law enforcement will be interesting. |
Funny! I had a dream last night that Tinubu sacked Wike. He returned to PH powerless and it was Fubara who consoled him. Just a dream, though. |
Let me start by saying, I am a victim of the Lekki demolition about 2 yrs ago. It was an illegal one and the case is in court so, I am a critic of criminal & tribalist Oki of LABSCA. However, this Makoko demolition has been in the pipeline for decades now, it was bound to happen. The community is not conducive for living, poor sanitation etc hence I support the demolition. The concern I have is what plan government has for poor people who have now been rendered homeless?? What about children whose education will be truncated pending when their parents find a place for them to live and a school nearby. What about people whose sources of incomes have been destroyed? any plans for them? The consequences of having no plans for these people will have dire consequences even for the society at large as we can expect crime rate to increase, amongst other things. |
I shake my head for Nigeria. If you se how veterans are treated in the Western World, you will want to be a Soldier. They get preferential treatment for recruitment in organizations, even when flying, airlines board veterans ahead of most other passengers. |
No issues. Nwabali hasnt been outstanding anyways. Onyedika should fit in well for Ndidi. We are good. |
Nigerians are the most educated immigrants in Nigeria making 6 - 7 figs and paying heavy taxes to the US government. Trump should take from that money and pay those living on benefits. Abi? |
Let's look at it objectively. What caused the accident? if it's overspeeding or DUI, then it's not Nigeria's fault. People need to own up to their wrongdoings. If bad roads are responsible or play a part, then Nigeria has happened to AJ. Furthermore, we need to also examine the emergency response; timing and process. It looked less than spectacular to me. That is Nigeria happening. Drawing an analogy with Allwell Ademola, Nigeria happened to her! She had asthma attack and struggled for 3 hrs before she could be evacuated from her burglary proofed apartment which would not have been necessary if security was good in the country. Then terrible traffic delayed diving to the hospital hence she arrived BID. Nigeria happened to her! May Nigeria not happen to you. God bless Nigeria, cos I still love that country, regardless! |
The problem is our poor people are not hungry enough. Otherwise, the protest against the rich should have reduced corruption in Nigeria by now. It's mind-boggling. I just weep for that country |
