I suspect Azure cloud data centres are down but they are blaming it on cyber attack. I stand corrected though. |
We can't be fooled. Is that your take home salary? You slashed basic salary which is usually a small fraction of take home salary. |
Nonsense!. Nigerian Youths are only following the footsteps of the elders led by the President, a renowned local and international corrupt man. So, if you can do your job as EFCC chair and prosecute them all and they miraculously turn new leaves, perhaps the youths will follow suit. |
SpaceX:I want to agree with you but if Dapo could have been so stupid as to claiming he got a university degree that he never got until he was found out, then I can't put any other stupid act past him. |
Knowing that Nigerian Government owned refineries are usually down most of the time, what happens to volume allocated? |
It's just a pity that we are celebrating the fact that you paid elderly people what you were owing them. Who do you blame for the backlog? PDP? At least it's been AC/AD/APC for the past 25 years! Shameful! |
Maxtipulation:I never supported him. Infact I almost gave up on Nigeria when I watched the APC congress and the only man who seemed to be best prepared for the job, came a distant 3rd. |
Maxtipulation:You and I. |
Akpabio, we agree we won't recognize Nigeria if we allow him to do 8 years and we don't want to find out what that will be so we ll let him go after 4 years. Thanks for the heads up. |
thesicilian:They can only murmur. There's ABSOLUTELY nothing they can do about it. You see, oyinbos may not like us but they always bow to superior talents, and right now the blacks are the best they've got. |
While I detest Tinubu and everything he represents, in this case, I think he is only doing what Buhari did so, Lukman should not cry foul. |
Wow! So EFCC is this effective? and Yahaya Bello is on the run? and many other past and present public officers still have financial crimes cases yet to be concluded? Nigeria remains a huge joke and I don't see this changing anytime soon. Useless EFCC!!! |
Too many incorrect information. 2 million naira rent for a 3 bedroom in Nicon Estate? Where you wan see am? You think say na Ikorodu? |
This Festus Keyamo has now constituted himself into a nuisance. Why this desperation for validation with UAE Visa? We are tired of "it's coming". When it happens, we know it happens. |
Dele Farotimi couldn't have said it better. If you have the means to escape Nigeria but remain, you must be mad, including himself. Is this EFCC Chairman still talking after the Yahaya Bello charade? Nigeria is a perennial joke! |
geoworldedu:True. But you can't go wrong with FX rate. I just used a commodity I am familiar with, to illustrate. |
Afonja007:Thanks but I just checked my email now and I bought 1 bag of cement N2,100 in January 2016. This is the information available to me. |
mrvitalis:I did a lot of dollar transactions in 2015 so I can vividly remember the average rate throughout a greater part of the year was N250. How many people had or have access to dollar at official rate? |
In 2015, it was 1$ to N250 so N40,000 was $160. Today, $160 is N240,000. So 40k in 2015 is 240k now. Contextually, 1 bag of cement in 2015 cost N2,000 so N40,000 would buy you 20 bags of cement in 2015. Today, a bag of cement is N12,000 and to buy the same 20 bags, you will need N240,000. Thank you |
OboOlora:Abiola did not run away to Canada. He's been visiting for max of 3 weeks in the last 6 years. He remained in the bank till the very end. 50M! is that even an amount that Biola would steal and run away That's not money, pls. It's unfortunate the bank ran into troubled waters, he could have left a long time ago but stayed on like the true professional that he is, doing his best to help salvage the situation! |
OboOlora:Abiola did not commit fraud and run to Canada. Yes, there were problems in Heritage Bank which culminated in the closure by CBN but Abiola remained in the bank till the very end, doing his best to salvage the bank. |
Chichi could have set the records straight in a classy way. She could have just said "As the 1st Nigerian Loreal Ambassador in year..., I wish to congratulate......" That way, we would have been reminded that she was the 1st and Temi won't feel like she's beefing her. She can do better than that! |
My position remains the same. There's no where in the world where you can't succeed and live a good life. For some, Nigeria is great and they are happy...good for them but for those who beleive japa is the way, pls let them be. When I left the country I didn't know I was going to stay back cos I still had an oil and gas job to come back to, but here I am 6 years after and I do not regret it. Japa these days has nothing to do with social class; low income, middle class and high class are all japaing these days. I personally know a former bank MD who japaed in his 60s!!! but truth be told that the quality of life abroad is incomparable. Nigeria has a looooong way to go! |
We didn't need to revert to the Colonial National Anthem. What we needed was to include a line like "May Sango, Ogun and Shopona punish any leader that steals from our national treasury" lo ba tan! |
It's a shame that we are still considering recycling these same people. We better remain the way we are if the same old brigade will be in charge |
Do we have another Mike Adenuga in the power industry who is ready to disrupt like MA did in the telecoms industry? I doubt! |
Mr P, you try sha. But you, Kayode Awogboro & co...you run thingz sha...no further comments! |
Not studying hard enough. I was complacent, probably still. Never studied until I had an exam time table. That cost me some precious marks. I could have made 1st class but I didn't study hard enough. I had the potential energy but didn't kinetise it enough. I knew I could never fail an exam but I missed out on top grades that I should have gotten. Graduated with 2.1 but I regret not doing what I should have done. It would have definitely set me up for better opportunities. |
SonOfDSoil01:OK, at least you are making an attempt to be objective. I support government taking action to prevent environmental disaster but this is not the case here. The estate in question was demolished without notice, despite the fact that the case is in court between the ruling family that sold the land to us and a private individual close to the President who claims to have a Cof O. When representatives visited Labsca, Gbolahan Oki said "You obedients, we ll deal with you" It's on record. This is impunity!!! The houses were not encumbrances and I can confirm I built mine on Pile Foundation, Not Raft!!! |
SonOfDSoil01:Another gullible one who needs help. I was born and bred in Lagos with my Lagos indigineship certificate signed by Prince Yemi Oyekan, in the presence of the highly reverred and now late Oba Adeyinka Oyekan. You can't be more Lagosian than me. I can bet that. I pray you get emancipated from mental slavery someday. I am sure you need it and I ll be glad to assist wherever I can. |
UNNGRADUATEEE:May I seize this opportunity to extricate you from the cocoon of perennial and generational ignorance. I never claimed to be a Pilot. I am a Drilling Engr and i have been flying offshore for over 15 years. If you have additional concerns, please feel free to let me know. Thank you! |
I built a twin duplex along that axis and just as I completed before I could even put tenants there, they illegally demolished the house. APC, LABSCA and their cohorts will never have rest for their satanic and ethnic wickedness! 2027 is closeby, we need to free Lagos #FreeLagos |
That's not money, pls. It's unfortunate the bank ran into troubled waters, he could have left a long time ago but stayed on like the true professional that he is, doing his best to help salvage the situation!
I bet you would need the emancipation more. When the government is doing badly we blame them when everywhere get flooded. The rains are coming and they are trying to correct the errors made by some few defiant amongst us who seem to not always do the right thing and put the rest of us at risk, but instead of you to reason logically with your brain, you here supporting illegality? If you truly an indigene of the state you won’t watch it go in ruins.
