northvietnam: Governor Ugwuanyi has done more roads in the rural Ụdị, Ezeagu, and Nkanu regions than in Nsukka. In SEC they apportion projects in quota, the issue is that Chimaroke has built every farm path in Agbani, Sullivan did may roads in Ụdị. Both of them did not up to 6 roads in total in the entire 7 LGAs of Nsukka. Enugu has 17 LGA among the 3 senatorial districts, 7 are in Nsukka (Enugu North Senatorial zone). Yet the place is severely marginalized. Nsukka Zone commands population and agriculture yet neglected. Infact Nsukka Youth protested more than 3 times in this administration. Nsukka is still in a big infrastructure mess under Ugwuanyi. The so called Isi Ụzọ were the road in the article passed was drafted from Nsukka Zone to Nkanu Zone during Chimaroke regime, so technically they are not even Nsukka. Chimaroke moved ESUTH from Nsukka whole and entirely to Agbani. To mention but a few. Nsukka is catching up with other zones in Enugu gradually but in reality there is little or no State Goverment infrastructure in Nsukka, most roads have not been touched in the last two decades, especially the all important Agro routes. For roads Ugwuanyi did Iyi Road in Orji River, 9th mile to Ezeagu road, assorted roads in Emene, Nike, Ụdị etc Google is there for you. 7 Likes |

helinues: The main reason why people are shouting Biafra. Gas is been flared seriously in Bayelsa on daily basis, yet the state government can't own and operate a power plant, or have a transmission system not to talk of distribution, it is on the exclusive legislative list. Only FG can... A constitution that stops people from developing, yet we want a miracle out of it. Can you see why this country is better not existing? 9 Likes |

helinues: Take an average and I am sure Igbo states are not the least developed in Nigeria. I don't think any of them will rank lower than 16/36. Not minding the deliberate lack of Federal presence in the SE region, take an average and I don't think it will rank less than 2/6. Igbo region is not performing badly. 12 Likes |

Officialgarri: I don't know a thing about Odion. For Joshua you have right to call him a Yoruba, in fact he is. What held Nigeria down is forcing every (Region) child to develop at the same pace using the least benchmark (Northern standard). I don't know if you have met Iweala in person, if not, I have. She is from Delta State I agree, but she is one of those that carry Biafra matter for head more than the so called Kanus. She is Igbo, she speaks it and she don't joke with her Igbo ancestry. Stop wishing Igbos bad rather wish yourself well. 20 Likes 1 Share |

Our first Baifran female president... We love her too much. Mummy don't have an equivalent in the West or North. The day we leave his entrapment, the whole world will turn to us in search of innovators. Today we are still in a country where the worst olodo, the dumbest leads the Nation. Where mediocrity is given priority over meritocracy in our constitution, yet we wish in vain to turn to a super world power soonest. 51 Likes 6 Shares |

Education / Academic Extortion At Enugu State College Of Education (technical) by OKKO(m): 8:53am On Feb 04, 2020 |
...I have received this kind of text from my 3 different wards that just got admission in ESCET about 3 weeks ago... "Good morning Sir, pls those text books I told u about the other time is now urgent our lecturers told us that whoever did not buy their handout and text books they will make sure the person get carry over in there courses and write it again and the person will not summit his or her assignment after writing it, our biology and computer HoD's told those of us that is doing computer/biology today when we are having there lectures that whoever did not buy departmental wear will not be attaining there lectures again and also our biology lecturer told us to buy school lab coat ,she said that whenever we are going to do practical biology we will wear the lab coat." Enugu State College of Education (Technical) popularly known as ESCET was created from Science Education Department (SED) of the IMT Enugu in 2006. It was meant to train science and technology teachers at the basic level of NCE. The school inherited the all the SED lecturers, labs, workshops, studios, hostels and other infrastructures in the (then) Campus 2 of the IMT, located opposite polo park (now) Shoprite in Enugu. Among other quality academic facilities, the school also has an ETF sponsored Library filled with relevant Educational books. However, after the exit of the first Provost of the College, heavy corruption set in, the next governor brought tribal sentiment and sacked most erudite lecturers and brought incompetent ones from his zone. The school was saturated with tribal sentiments, watering down the standards, creating academic business men and politicians who offers nothing but extorting the students...in various ways. I have a ward in the school that resumed 3 wks ago, after paying all the exorbitant fees both for registration, verification, acceptance, tuition, hostel etc...I started hearing stuffs such buying handouts, departmental dress, customised lab. coat and so on. My worry is why make compulsory and prerequisite of attending lectures or submitting assignment? Are handouts now legit? Why allow impunity, academic and social vices to rein supreme in that school. Please let us speak out until higher authorities hear this and act appropriately. |
Politics / Re: Buhari Approves Two New Seaports – Railway From Port Harcourt To Maiduguri by OKKO(m): 4:31pm On Jan 29, 2020 |
No single work has been done in Onne port as we speak. For the eastern rail line, it is a good idea to revitalize the old and dilapidated railway. The point is that the topic is misleading, it has neither been presented or approved. Mr. Amaechi said he has been talking with Buhari about it. That it will be announced soon. Even when approved, will it be awarded? Even when awarded will it be funded? Where is the money coming from? China loan or Euro bond or IMF loan? Won't the politicians swallow the money as usual? How many years will it take to be completed? That is yet another political promise like we will decimate boko haram. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Nsukka People Are Not Igbos, See Why by OKKO(m): 3:35pm On Jun 12, 2019 |
We have less than 5% of the Nsukka as Muslims. We don't have any know mosque edifice in Nsukka. They are mainly Roman Catholics, and Anglican which together make up over 80% of the population. Nsukka (Enugu North Senatorial district) is made up of 7 LGA out 19 LGAs we have in Enugu State. They constitute about 35% of the population of the State. Enugu Ezike (Igbo Eze North LGA) has boarders with Igalas in Kogi and Idoma in Benue. it is about the largest LGA in Enugu State. She has cross border trade and marriage for over 300yrs. One family in Amufie (Enugu Ezike) the Adukwu family brought Islam in the area through his business partners, the religion is poorly developed in the area since about 50yrs of it's introduction, some of the worshipers then has lost their children back to Catholic Church. I grew up there, I schooled there. So the term Nsukka is bigger than what you think. 9 Likes 1 Share |
