I have never seen a Government that make excuses like PMB's. And his defenders in NL are shameless though over 90% have left in frustration. We grow lean defending the indefensible OMENKA.

All of you said its budget that is holding us from seeing the change. OK! The budget has been passed on a day its previous morning the Finance Minister, was talking in Channels TV that she is finding it difficult to pay salary. So what else do U hope on to implement the budget? CHINESE LOAN? Don't tell me GEJ has stolen all the money meant for budget implementation of 2016. Never in history of Nigeria has any budget ran on saving of previous years cos implementation has never reached 100%. Never tell me the problem is drop in oil price to $30 pb ; Obj enter when it was $28 but he did not nag, complain and lay reckless blames like this.

yarimo:
Yeah I get your point, but you no all this things have to do with budget implementation first

Save me this budget implementation scrap. There is a saying that a chick that will turn to a male is known right at hatch.

There is definitely to plan, absolutely no policy direction (the best we have heard in Agric is NOT how to provide fertilizers, improved seeds, irrigation or even a comprehensive registration of farmers; planting season is coming to end at mid year: all we have heard is plans to import grasses).

Absence of budget does not make Ministers to go asleep, they knew what they budgeted for they should have started rolling out policy statements waiting to hit the ground running when funds are finally made available.

Are the not traveling, paying wages and other recurrents since inception. Did they not do refurbishing of Aso rock and their offices? Are they not buying operational cars?

#The truth is that the government has no cash at hand, they are even finding it difficult to pay salary not to talk of implement any budget or execute projects; they have strangled the economy with echaic/medieval approach, they have destroyed SMEs with parochial monetary policy champion by PMB himself, they have chased away foreign investors with their lack of economic direction and dullness. The worst is lawlessness and political witch hunt and vendetta.

OP check the difference between genocide and militancy.

Pipeline bombers claim to be natives of ND who seek Govt. attention by destroying Govt. infrastructures.

In Enugu, innocent natives were rather being killed on cold blood in their homes by herdsmen.

Even the ones that are talking are talking are yaning nonsense out of confusion.

Whoever is Minister for Education and his junior has never said a word to the press.
Minister of Communication
Minister of Labour (talking confusion)
Minister of Information (licking mouth and contradicting every other minister)
Minister of FCT?

To say the truth I don even know most of them.

Economic upside down. Postponing the dooms day. The salaries will help rejuvenate the economy. Huh this Anty Kemi self!

Who has ever build industry or employed workers on top his salary?

Nigeria is a consumer economy, the workers go just collect the salary, pay rent and school fees..eat extra meat, buy fuel N250 per L and invest the remaining on China phones. Who salary don make reach b4?

APC doesn't know how to start diversifying the economy as the claimed...in fact funds that has been accuring into Federation account has been falling along oil price.

What out, Governors will now go all out to borrow for the whole Africa!

joborskill:
Kanu foolishly led himself into an avoidable problem. He is like a lamb cheered by goats(ipob youths) to take on a pack of hyenas(FG) grin Going by his sober and repentant looks in court recently, am sure he wish he could turn back the hands of time but its too late. He enjoyed the fraudulent fame while it lasted. He wanted to be a rebel leader. A rebel leader with no military background. Which sane rebel leader will go as far as soliciting for weapons on a recorded event? His mistakes are enormous and there are better ways he could have fought his battles without spreading hate and implicating himself. Kanu is just a butter boy overfed with the comfort of london and that pushed him to run his mouth like a tap on biafra radio. After seven months in jail, he is begining to look like a chicken in the rain and Am sure the Dss/kuje prison treatment is gradually restoring his brain to factory settings. Before the previous Biafra war, Ojukwu had a template of what biafra would look like and even presented his demands through the aburi accord in Ghana. He had military experience and a PlanB if the aburi accord was rejected. Despite this, Ojukwu regretted leading his people to a bloody massacre and has since called for a United Nigeria. Kanu's approach was to brainwash innocent youths, spread hate and bile and even instigate war on other non igbo tribes. No concrete reason why they want Biafra other than the Yorubas and Hausas hate us so we have to go. Comparing Kanu to Ojukwu is an insult in all ramifications. Kanu's predicament will never end soon. He will pay for all those hate speeches and instigating wars against peaceful Nigerians. Where are the bombs he threatened to use on Radio biafra? Where are the jet fighters? Where are Ipob soldiers he promised to unleash on the zoo? Pride goes before a fall. Kanu has fallen and all the igbo youths can do is protest. with time everyone will forget him in jail and move on with their lives. I hope uchemefor is learning from this before he finds himself in the same fate. grin
God bless Nigeria.
Say no to Biafra

What plan do you have for Biafra is Igbos stay back in united Nigeria? Non of course. What is the prospects of Nigeria as a Nation? Instead of outright rejection of Biafra why can't the FG take the bull by the horn and revert to true federalism with the six regions as the units.

In this present Nigeria there are too many labourers (qualified graduates/human resources), too many vine yards ready for harvest (material/ natural resources) but hunger is killing the house hold.

Let the SS manage their oil, and North their huge agriculture and solid minerals, SE trade and industry...and their will be healthy competition.

Don't know why U soo much hate to hear that Igbos want to be go, u call them so many derogatory names, while as U don't trust them enough to be part of U.

Its like if my gal frnd says she is tired on the relationship she want to face her future...I will say No, that she don't have a good reason to leave.

Politics / Re: Unpaid Salaries: Bayelsa Workers Turn To Begging For Survival - Punch by OKKO(m): 11:50am On Apr 14, 2016
barcaboi:

now na FG u go blame....pls explain why FG shd devalue the naira.....bayelsa is an oil rich state with 1.7m pple and enuf bailout fund from FG....IGR dey too...what else is stopping the gov?

FG is cheating the states by exchanging the foreign earning at N 199 per dollar and shearing to states while actually it is upto N320 in reality.

If FG comes down to reality, the amount of allocation sheared in Naira will multiple by 3 at least states can pay salary.

Infact NLC should move for that because price or thing has gone up twice or thrice in reality whiles salaries are constant or even unpaid. Eg a bag of rice formerly N 7000 to N 8,500 is now N 16,000...Fuel about N 250 at filling station cause of poor forex policy, investor shy away, IGR depleting, both FG and state economy in mess.

For people saying vote for change, Sylva APC collected 2 straight bonds of N50billion each (total of 100 bil), major reason was to clear wage bill including salary...he never paid a dine. Go and study is EFCC charges it is an open secret in Bayelsa. Dickson inherited it and has been paying it will finish by 2018.

I don't hold brief for any politician but I was receiving my salary promptly and even 40K extra allowance monthly from the overhead cost, where I work, until the economy of the country nose dived.

If the data available is true, Bayelsa monthly wage bill is N4.6 billion, the state has many social welfare interventions b4 virtually all families in Bayelsa get something from the state govt. monthly either direct or indirect, ghost workers did not help matters too.

Last allocation was less than N 2billon then how can he pay wage bill of N 4.6 bill monthly. No company here...pure water used here was brought from Delta State b4. Terrain and oil exploration has really affected the lands and waters, ppl are over dependent on govt.

Now U complain of fuel cue, but in Bayelsa ppl live in creek that U take 3.5 hours on flying boat to connect after getting your fuel in Yenagoa.

I work in the sate, I was paid my January salary last week. Govt. is owing me 2 months not 5. However, lack of economic direction by FG has worsen the situation. Devalue Naira so that states get more allocation and pay staff. I have been parking in fuel cue since 3 days now. The line never reach me.

Politics / Re: Violence Has Erupted In The Gwagwalada Office Of The INEC by OKKO(m): 4:29pm On Apr 10, 2016
The issue here is that INEC is inconsistent with there regulation for declaration of inconclusive election.

In Bayelsa, the margin with which the incumbent Gov. Dickson defeated Sylva was far less than the cancelled votes and he was declared winner. Same thin happened in several NASS reruns that took place recently.

INEC under Buhari is a joke, image conducting inconclusive election in 6 "LGA" in the back yard of their headquarters in Abuja.

Meanwhile the OSUN state assemble rerun conducted yesterday was also inconclusive.

If the picture is actually from Nigeria
Ask yourselves why are the people willing to queue for that long?
Simple and honest answer , it's being sold at regular price
So before you write that stupid comment about how Buhari is making the country suffer
Think about Bovas, NNPc and other petrol stations all over the country that sell at regular price and those are the places you'll find that long queue

#Trash
If u don't travel let me tell U that the pic is from Nigeria. That is the Abuja - Abaji - Lokoja dual carriage way-a super high way dualized by the same GEJ that U sit in your fathers pallor and blame much about somebody's inaction.

PMB's echaic policy, rigidity and cluelessness in modern economic reality that plugged us into this mess.

A. Naira will not be devalued under your watch yet the price in parallel market has doubled the official rate...are U an economist? Could U pass simple maths in SSCE? Do U know the merits of devaluation of Naira at that time or just a shear ego? Why not take advice from experts?

B. Your refineries are not working; so U import fuel, NNPC alone can not met the demand of local consumption, so independent marketer take up the remaining volume, yet U regulate the price below the profitable margin, yet U don't want to pay for the subsidy...moreover marketer access forex at double the official rate.

C. And somebody (a zombie) is saying that we should be grateful that "bovas and NNPC" are selling normal price, hence we should go and cue up...what percentage of filling stations in Nigeria belongs to Bovas and NNPC? Do they met the daily demand? Do U have NNPC filing station in Ur LGA and Ur village, don't people use fuel there? How many NNPC outlets are their in Ur state.

D. Suffering and smiling

Are we importing crude oil or petroleum products? This is really junk journalism. I'm surprise the writer cannot differentiate between crude oil and petroleum products.

It is no longer a news that Kaduna refinery can not handle Nigerian type of crude oil. We import crude oil to feed it and it helps to provide for a part of daily PMS requirement of the country.

Politics / Re: See Why BUHARI'S INEC Is A Disgrace To Democracy by OKKO(m): 7:49pm On Mar 19, 2016
It is simple...
1. The present INEC chairman is as clueless as the person that appointed him.

2. These areas you mentioned are typical PDP places, meanwhile APC want to win through back door/ by all cost.

3. Help me tell APC that it is difficult to manipulate election were you are unpopular...PDP knows and respect that fact but APC don't.

4. During GEJ's time, he sees some states in the North as no go area...he tried to take Osun from APC but it did not take peoples blood. APC which is the current ruling party fails to understand that...imagine them rolling out Nigerian Army and amoured cars to take over Bayelsa State...but you saw the resistance, people even payed the supreme price.

5. I think it is more of APC leaders (do or die politicians) than INEC, PMB or Security agents.

Politics / Re: Buhari Relocates 184 Officials Over Budget Padding by OKKO(m): 10:29pm On Mar 10, 2016
Propaganda specialist government...
PMB told the world when he visited Saudi that those involved shall get serious punishment.

Now there was not investigation, query, fair hearing and punitive or disciplinary measure.

This action can be attributed to hear say; instead of proper investigation on whose interest the budget office was working for...because this office and staff don't assess the money of fund so padded into the document, it is rather the Buhari's cabinet that will access it...so it might be the saintly ministers that influenced the padding...just as we saw Fashola skewing the capital expenses in his Ministries budget to favour the SW.

Redeployement to other ministries is never a punishment for a civil servant just as "transfer" is routine. They maintain their grade level, their ranks as director and their monthly salaries and allowance.
