Its not straightforward.

XX01:

CIC already has processes to take care of expiring visas. It's straightforward on their website.

This petition is for an extension of validity and not re opening the application as IRCC website suggests a re assessment of application

mamaroon15:

Why is a petition necessary when IRCC has laid out specific guidelines for COPR holders to follow to indicate their inability to travel because of the pandemic?

How was Egypt Air. I am planning on using them. Any baggage issues or seizing of particular items?

LANDING GIST

I flew EgytAir and got to the airport by 10am for a 12:45pm flight. I had just a check-in bag and one backpack.
I had cereal and coco balls in the check-in bag to keep me for the 3days should incase I couldn't find nice food. I emptied it into ziplock nylon and had no issues.

GOD bless Canada and Nigeria

95% of those VISAs are for American born Nigerian babies. They issue them with the same VISA. Nigeria is a joke

I also landed in September. I stay in down town Toronto. Nice and cool but mainly whites and Chinese residents. Are there any nairalanders living close to Young and Eglington? We could meet up.

Hang in there buddy. Mine took 13 months. You should get a request for a second medical soon. Hope is all we got!

millybushy:
Hi guys,

I am thinking of withdrawing my application as I am so tired of waiting.

My application is 13 months post-AOR.

I applied July last year 2018 and added my spouse to my application in February of this year, 2019.

File was moved from Ottawa to Accra in July 30, 2019.

Accra VO asked for ADR for proof of marriage docs, communication with my wife and proof of salary payment from employer or pay stubs.

I submitted all, and for the proof of salary I submitted salary certificate as I was paid in cash.

Now the wait is tiring and I want to withdraw my application. I am an in-Canada applicant and my work experience is from Nigeria.

Bingo spotted!!!!

American citizens are not happy with their healthcare. Why? You can be in debt for a very long time after a hospital visit. Make sure you don't have any terminal illness, you would consider suicide.

Tech, good.

Education, student debt is crippling their higher education. The moment you graduate you are already in debt to the tune of thousands and you better have that money or else.

Security? Largely depends on your location. Every state has a hotspot as well as calm zones.

All this for prestige. They add no value whatsoever in the development of Nigeria. I honestly don't know why Nigerians waste their money schooling in America. This girl can never be greater than her mom. I am yet to see a wealthy Nigerian whose children schooled in the US. greater than their parents. This rubbish needs to stop. It is completely a waste of money

PPR LOADING........

Scbhoviv:
Hello house. Plz I am not understanding this wait any longer. I'm AOR July 29 2018. Was told earlier in January that my file was waiting for final approval. That everything has been passed. I have been waiting and praying. Ordered gems and everything looks fine. So I called again yesterday and was told my file has been transferred to Accra visa office on the 30th of May. Ikeagwugonumu. I have run thru my application a thousand and one time in my head and I can't think of anything I did wrong in my application. Hubby says it's because we are a large family(7) but I don't think so..... Sorry for this my story. I just feel like ranting and there is no other place to do it than here.

LUBRICANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good read. Goodluck!!

We needed to do some renovations on the house before deciding on what what to do with it. This renovation works set our preparations back with about one week, as the entire house was upside down and we couldn't really do much. Finally we were left with only one week to our travel date, time seemed to be flying so fast that 24hours seemed not to be enough in a day.

We bought a hand digital scale to weigh our bags to ensure they're all within the normal limits. I had put a 4litres palm oil in the freezer about a week earlier (I should have done like 6 smaller bottles of 75cl instead). The palm oil didn't eventually make it as our luggages were already overweight at the dying minute. There was no way to reduce the palm oil and take smaller quantity as it was frozen. Hubby didn't even give me the chance to reason what else we can remove before dropping my palm oil. Very painful, but I couldn't do anything about it.
