PoliticsRe: Tribunal: Hitler Nwala Claims INEC Erased Presidential Election Results by Okpeke22: 7:53pm On Jun 22, 2023

Much ado about nothing.
You have party agents and volunteers who collected a copy of the results at each poling units. Why not get these copies , tally them and challenge the copies on INEC portal?
Lazy People (LP)
And that has been done and that why shows that tibubu came third.

Ofcourse the election was skewed to favour Tinubu but Atiku and Obi should relax....Hulaba seem to be doing the right thing and I'm believing he will make a far better president.
Election was skewed to favour Tinubu that you admitted, isn't that injustice? Can there be peace without justice?

Come to think of it, what has Tinubu done to suggest he's doing well and will make a far better president?

What major policy has he implemented to better the lives of the average Nigerian?
PoliticsRe: Possible Verdict Of The TRIBUNAL From All Points Of View by Okpeke22: 7:14pm On Jun 22, 2023
NairalandGossip:
With Obi bringing an overwhelming evidence and witnesses who have performed 75% well,
I can tell you all for free that the tribunal will place national security above the rule of law and retain Tinubu as president.

Sadly but truly

Obi though will be so confident that he had achieved what took him to the court and future elections will not be tempered with as everyone is now watching.

Again, it is a win for Obi because it has etched his name in gold and will certainly rule Nigeria when it is the turn of the south again

Regards!
This is a very difficult job the 5 justices have been assigned with the eyes of the whole nation and world upon them. I wouldn't want to be in their position now. This is a job that will either make or mar their reputation, so it's up to them to chose.

Forgive me Sir....but you are wrong. People have no intention of returning. Foreign countries benefit from the taxes these people pay and use the money to better their society.....only recently Ghana realised they no longer had enough nurses for their own population because of Japa syndrome.

Also anything Bill Gates says is good.....know that it's bad for Africans.

So many Africans are cleaning old Oyibo people's Ynash and paying them tax for the privilege.
Did you see where he said that when we start doing the right thing and taking the governance of our country serious? What do you think he means? Why do you think people are leaving Nigeria? Is it not because te govt is doing the right thing? Put good governance in place and people would be reluctant to leave and many who have left will come.back.
PoliticsRe: INEC To LP/Obi: Stop blaming Us For Your Failure In Court by Okpeke22: 3:48pm On Jun 14, 2023
Throwback:
Obi keeps blaming everyone and claiming he is not challenging the outcome but the process.

Who is to blame for Obi's default of the process when he bought nomination form in PDP and partook in the screening, only to become the presidential candidate of a party he is not a member?

Obi is the main problem with the process.

The only illegitimate presidential candidate of all the many contestants.
Obi's participation in PDP primaries is a different case entirely and not related to this, so deal with this one.
The question any sane mind should be asking if INEC actually rejected a subpoena to produce more documents to LP as claimed by the petitioners.

priceactionx:
All these things will still be thrown out later under technicalities and tinubu won't loose that sit. The justices will have split votes like 3:2 in favour of tinubu.

The worst that can happen is to deduct from his votes but will still meet up the requirements to be the president. If he wins the 25 percent of Abuja saga which I believe he will, the remaining is child's play.
Verbal interviews by the duo are just experimental and a deceit and a coy to destract. As long as it's not in accordance with the law, na effort for the dustbin.
Is that the script written for the tribunal by the FG, APC and INEC? I can understand.

PoliticsRe: Keyamo To Buhari: It’s Unconstitutional To Appoint Minister Of State by Okpeke22: 12:05pm On May 25, 2023
TonyeBarcanista:
Minister and Minister of State are simply ranks within a ministry. Both occupants are ministers but with different responsibilities and hierarchy within the ministry. It still doesn't negate the fact that both are ministers with equal privileges at the Federal Executive Council.

It's like in the Senate, all 109 Senators are equal Senators but the Senate President is of higher rank than Others in the Chamber - likewise a Senate Committee Chairman is of higher rank than other members of the Committee - yet, they all have the same right and privileges as Senators
Not true and nothing you say here can make it true. There's no similarity between both.
First, the positions of Senator and Senate president are both recognized and explicitly provided for in the Constitution but not so with 'Minister of State.'

I think the Minister of State stuff was created for two reasons: one for administrative conveniences and second to satisfy the constitutional provision of having a minister from each of the 36 states, since there aren't up to 36 ministries. However, to the extent that the office isn't provided in the.Constituoon, it's unconstitutional, I don't know about being illegal though.

Keyamo though is being clever by half, as a SAN of many years, he should have known not to accept an unconstitutional appointment. To have waited till 4 days to the end of the appointment before speaking out is dishonesty.

I can't allow my 80 years old to do such hard jobs, she deserves to spend her last years in the comfort of the warmth of her children.

We are indirectly saying the same thing, her loyalty to Asiwaju means loyalty to Nigeria because Asiwaju is all about moving Nigeria forward.
You both ain't saying the same thing. Loyalty to a president is the reason we haven't been able to build strong and functional democratic institutions because everyone wants to serve and please the president even when he's wrong.
Did you notice that Mike Pence went against Trump in 2021 when trump wanted to derail US democratic process?
Did you notice how judges in various US states and cities dismissed Trump:s petitions wthout minding that he's the president.

That's what we need Ajunwa and every other person to do, show loyalty to the country and the Constitution and not the president per se.

Buhari is not a good leader, that is true.

But the religion problem existed long before he came around.

Infact, all you have said was said about IBB, especially when he 'took us into the OIC' in 1986. And even alleged about Shagari too.

The problem with Nigerians is when a leader is leaving office, he is always the 'paragon of evil'.
No bro, Buhari isn't just a paragon of evil, he's evil itself. Perhaps what you claim to have been said about IBB and Shagari may be true though I'm not aware of them, no one comes close to Buhari in that.
He's barefaced and unapologetic which makes it even more unbearable.

nairalanda1:
You weren't around in the years 1986-88, and even in the 1990's....
True, Nigerians have always been aware of their religious and tribal differences and so have been divided along those lines but Buhari exacerbated the problems with his policies and programs that promote exclusion rather than inclusion.
Buhari is the first president that announced that he will treat Nigerians on the strength and basis of their vote for him in 2015 and he kept to his word. Remember the now infamous 97/5% comment?
Buhari is the first president that excluded a major section of the country from appointment into the headship of the security agencies for whole 8 years and in fact appointed 95% of his security chiefs from one section of the country and one religion.
Buhari neglected the eastern rail corridor of the.country but built a rail line into Niger Republic with our own money.

Let's not treat with levity Buhari's abysmal handing of our diversity. Buhari kept and keeps hitting on the fault lines and expanding them. He's the worst thing to ever happen to Nigeria.

Omotoya is just an envious yoraba man. He can't even hide his frustration that Ebonyi built such gigantic airport while non of the states in his region could build any decent airport.

What Ekiti built and called airport is not even fit to be used as GIG motor park 🤣🤣

Hateful and envious fools.
Just shut up. As an Igbo you should be concerned that Umahi wasted billions of naira building an airport that will hardly function to 10% capacity. That airport and many others in Nigeria are not viable so why waste money that could be used to build cottage industries that would empower the people?
Do you know that poverty rate in Ebonyi State? How many Ebonyians have the capacity to use that airport? Not even up to 1% of the population.

You guys are so shameless that as an Igbo, I worry for you.
PoliticsRe: Reno Omokri Reacts To Allegations Of Igbos Being Left Behind In Sudan by Okpeke22: 5:39pm On May 01, 2023
I heard what the guys said and no where did he mention Abike Dabiri's name, I don't get where Reno Omokri got the nonsense he typed from.
The man said they were asked to come down from the bus that left three days ago and then showed what he claims to be property belonging to Igbo students.

Me think that instead of jumping to already rehearsed tirades against the Igbo, the claims should be investigated.
People before now have asked the rationale behind evacuating students based on states of origin. Did Reno questioned that even when same Abike alluded to it in her tweet?

Felabrity:
As much as we want to criticise the man for making it look like an amusement Park, let us also implore our governors to imitate the governor

We need more of this

The numbers of airports in Texas alone are more than number of airports in the whole of Nigeria
That's not what we need, we need sustainable projects. You need to ask yourself how many of the airports in Nigeria can sustain themselves without govt intervention.

What economic sense does an airport whether local or international make to a state like Ebonyi where majority of the people live below the poverty line. How many of them can afford to fly? Why waste billions of scarce resources building an airport in Abakiliki when there's another one 40 mins away at Enugu?

The billions wasted on that airport could've been used to build small cottage industries to empower the people financially.

I think instead of engaging in white elephant projects, governors should consider the essential character of their states before taking up any project. Don't build because others are building, build because it's needed and add economic value.

Legitimate military leader? There's no legitimacy with any military rule. Legitimacy which comes with the consent of the people can only be ascribed to a civilian govt which comes to power through a free, fair and credible election via a transparent process.
Don't legitimize illegitimacy please.
