. hey madam, please can you ask your hubby if he knows anything about Wombat-CS and what the test is about? Its a coordination test, to ascertain your hand, eye and feet ability to synchronize and work independently. It comes in varying stages. At this stage, be very confident. Read the instruction carefully and follow them. You should fare well at this stage my friends. |

TheRealAdonye: I was being sarcastic.. I understand all the words used..
Oh and, 'Spurious' and 'Specious' actually aren't synonyms.. I believe you should have used 'Specious' instead of 'Spurious' to pass across the message you intended to..
That's the problem with grammar of (Permit me to say) Obiahagbonic proportions. They're easily misconstrued. I knew you knew the words RealAdonye (Tolu remain silent oooo). Perhaps you have not exhausted the meaning of both words. They are synonyms from a dictionary I use. (they both mean plausible but not valid; intended to deceive). We learn everyday. |

coolbibz: That's an admirable feat, congrats. What did you study, if I may ask? a 4year course? Probably from a private university? Then you enrolled for a one-year taught Masters in perhaps one of those UK schools while observing the NYSC? Lol. Don't mind me. But of course, I can't be totally wrong. Rather than toot your horn or sound solipsistic, you need to understand not everyone can be opportuned to achieve all of those at such age. Not because they aren't smart, but primarily because the Nigerian educational system isn't conducive for such.
It's easier to talk about tapping into original ideas than putting those words to action. You seem like a proponent of such ideology owing to your advice, but of what use is channelling productivity into an original idea "no matter how insignificant it might seem"?
PS: There is no such thing as an original idea. There is nothing new except what has been forgotten.
"Books serve to show a man that those original thoughts of his aren't very new after all." — Abraham Lincoln WORD bro. Now this is admirable. Eminado u tried to pass ur msg witout soundin proud. Take coolio's advice. Don't ever think the successful ones in all recruitments are the best. Some bests fall out cos of insignificant errors or human factors(interviewers don't like u). U seem naïve in the recruitment industry, may you have the easy way outta that industry. |

vantage7: The last time we received a success/stand-by-for-further-instructions email, the further instructions (in my case) came only six days later. This time around it's two and a half months and counting and still no further instructions. So assuming someone were to develop a model to predict the schedule of NLNG Graduate Recruitment process by extrapolating data from the timetable of events of previous stages of the process, the model would be ridiculously erroneous. and spurious |

stain2less: Thanks for the compliment....though I know a lot of men who don't like ambitious ladies, but it was actually my hubby that encouraged me to apply. He wasn't happy when I didn't get an invite cos I had everything intact and I successfully finished the online test and I know I answered the questions quite well. So tell me, where there any females selected? Just curious . When will you guys get your final results? Some ladies were there, I appreciate them. We are yet to get the result, Global profilers will contact peeps once they are through. You should try again. What coy does he fly for? |

stain2less: lol.. Thanks oh yes he is and he says flying helicopters is more fun than fixed wings cos you get to see everything. I actually followed him from lagos to jos and back once and it was fun. We had to keep making stops to refuel. but you wouldn't be allowed to fly all the time to avoid fatigue which is dangerous to a pilot. You will have your weekly flying hours allocations. You are quite an ambitious lady, I admire that quality and your hubby must be a lucky man. Some guys dread ambitious women not knowing that they are the best you can have if you wanna reach that zenith. They ensure you don't lose that drive to succeed as they keep you on check. A healthy competition spawns SUCCESS. So tell us, did your hubby inspire you to pursue a career in aviation or it has been a childhood aspiration? |

stain2less: Lol. As a pilot, you wouldn't fly everyday. There is a maximum amount of hours you would fly every week because there are other pilots waiting to fly. It's not like you are going to own one aircraft to yourself, other pilots need flight hours too. Am in Lagos and so is my hubby. He didn't fly everyday and most times when he does, he's back by evening. i have read about Atlantic aviation and i believe when you fly across the ocean, you wouldn't sleep there, would you? So you would be back home after closing, just like any other normal job. I think you would even close before a typical banker. There are only a few exceptions where you have to travel out of the state, and in most cases, you could still come back that day. Helicopters don't fly for too long cos they have to refuel. i know a woman that flies fixed wings and her husband is a naval officer who is mostly offshore. But i didn't get the job right? So God knows best. You know so much about this Aviation thing. I hereby endorse and recommend you for future pilot positions. Lol . The sky will be your workplace. Is your hubby a heli pilot? They are the ones who do the real flying cos fixed-wing pilots only work durin take-off and Landing, an autopilot system does the rest for them while they sleep Except there is "MAY-DAY" situation in the sky. *Seeing a family of pilots* |

stain2less: Hi guys, i have been following this thread since day one. I applied but didn't get any invite and that's ok coz God knows best. But i just have to comment today. This is really mean and very unethical. Any employer who sees this will not look at you twice. It is also childish. I mean, why take it so personal? Common man, he was only viewing his opinion. Maybe he expected to see just five people and he saw twenty which makes him feel like it was too much crowd. You don't know where you will meet tomorrow. I mean, using such heavy words and also wishing him failure only cos he said his opinion is very very inappropriate and unprofessional. Besides, he doesn't owe anyone any information, and whatever information he gives is left for you to take or leave. Please, adjust your attitude. Just a hearty advice, but if you wanna lash me too, then i am ready to take it.
you show so much maturity and composure. I think you will be perfect for the job.
you don't owe anyone any explanations. You will be a good pilot cos a good pilot knows how to work with people as well as handle situations. I know cos my husband is one. You have spoken well my sister. The attack was very strong. If you and your husband become Pilots, who will take care of the children? Will they be co-pilots sitting beside una why you fly across oceans? |

Look around, remain calm and confident. Tell them genuinely why you wanna fly that bird both vocally and pen-wisely. I don try, thats all I can tell you, go and unveil the rest like I was told when I inquired what the exercise will look like. |

Just curious: Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. My questions are: How do we know "God's anointed", are all who say they are prophets and MOG anointed by God? Are they supposed to remind us that they have been anointed and thus get scared of condemnation once we speak ill of them or point out a wrongdoing of theirs? Are we not all children of God with men as Men of God and women, women of God? Should a MOG threaten Children of God who are curious to learn and comprehend a disaster that lead to loss of lives? Dont you have RIGHT to know what led to the collapse of the building? Do you know it could have been you, if so do you want people to just cover it up and act like it never happened? The prophet abhors criticism? Could he innocent and by asking these questions are you trying to pull him down? May God reveal the truth to His children. Amen |
