PoliticsRe: PMB’s Delay In Naming Key Appointments Is Irritating, Frustrating, Unacceptable by Ola17: 7:58am On Jul 02, 2015
I believe it is not just frustrating but also annoying. 3 months after winning the election and more than 1 month after being sworn in yet the government lacks any clearcut policy direction, no appointments into key sectors of the administration.
Seems everything is on autopilot.

Someone should tell the 'president' that Nigeria is too big to be run like a family plantation.
This is the biggest economy in Africa for goodness sake! You need to be close to some ministries to see the kind of unprecedented fraud going on right now, everyone is confused, looting and cover up everywhere!

Revisionist and liar. the Dahomey Amazons NEVER defeated the YORUBA NATION.

Instead, the yoruba nation through the egbas, dealt them eternally blow they never recovered from. That marked the end of their reign in Dahomey.

You must respect the PDP for their attention to details, from the PYO crusade picture saga to this one.
APC played all their cards too early, their cyber propagandists' camp has gone cold too. PDP just dey decimate all the online momentum they've managed to gather in the past few months cry

Whoever came up with this election postponement move is a genius.

PoliticsRe: APC's Tweets Of Obasanjo Blasting Jonathan, Endorses APC At All Levels by Ola17:
Here it is!
They are already gloating over OBJ's endorsement!
This is very sick, very very sick.

The same OBJ that illegally withheld Lagos state's allocation thereby causing untold hardship on the citizens? The same OBJ whose government was characterized by high-handedness, total disregard for court injunctions and bedeviled by a plethora of scandals is the same person our agents of "change" are romancing? The same man that single handedly muzzled all opposition parties?

Those who comes to equity must do so with clean hands. Sometimes I think we Nigerians are suffering from some kind of rare form of amnesia.

I'd rather vote for my left nyash (forgive the expletive) than vote for someone who overthrew a democratic government! I believe that if conditions are right, GMB would've opted for coup to get to power again. GMB held a pivotal office in Abacha's government, one of the most corrupt regime in the annals of this country, yet said that their government wasn't corrupt! Where did all the money returned to Nigeria come from?

We forget things easily. Nigeria will either keep going in circles or stunted growth if we can't can't take our history serious. No nation can develop if it can't draw some lessons from it's past in order to make an informed decision for better tomorrow. Government is a continous project and not a water circle, each successive one building on the success of the previous one while avoiding their mistakes.

I can never be caught in the coven of my oppressors just because they came up with some fancy word. Change indeed.

My dear tell them oooo! what they are craving for will soon get to them , the case of Ebonyi State is not far fetched. The masses lashed Sam Egwu the then governor of Ebonyi state of not performing well and he single handedly gave them the man of their choice, Old Elechi Elechi who have made the life of a common man in Ebonyi State so miserable. The change their craving for will be from FRYING PAN to LAKE of FIRE..
It's very sad indeed.
Isn't it weird that majority of the front men in APC are people of questionable character? We want change, but voting APC in the name of change in my opinion is akin to someone who got off a slow moving bicycle for a damaged one just because "faster(change)" is written on it.

If we want to take a risk, it must be a calculated one. Same people that served in all the governments this country has ever had can't wake up and start singing change to me.

I can't cut off my nose to spite face, I'd be very stup1d.
PoliticsRe: Sad Day For Obasanjo - Bolanle Bolawole (Nigerian Tribune) by Ola17:
Nigeria sha!
It baffles me in no small terms seeing men of yesteryears who's actions and inactions put Nigeria in this sorry state, join the bandwagon of those vilifying the current government.

The caliber of people against GEJ's administration actually made me to opt for a reappraisal of the reputation the opposition are trying so hard to sell to Nigerians and all I can say is, it's a SCAM!

It's quite saddening seeing people jubilate when men like OBJ badmouths the government, forgetting that it was these same people's cluelessness railroaded us into this sorry state. What changed? Nothing! It is still the same people. GEJ must have done something right to piss these sharks off so much.

I think it's safer to say #GEJ till 2019!

Let us open our eyes and stop looking at everything through the prism of inordinate sentiments.
Nothing is as it seems.

Truth be told, GEJ's
administration is the most
purposeful and visionary
administration we've had.
Cutting down on unnecessary
government expenditure is a very
good move; more resources will
be available to execute
infrastructural projects.

PoliticsRe: Why Fashola Is The Best Option For Nigeria Come 2015. by Ola17: 9:10am On Jun 26, 2013
masu: Thanks for your question above:
Too many people know fashola even in my village in benue, without knowing realy who the man is nor figure out the truth about fashola media hype propaganda.

Take for instsnce the 700 road contract fashola claim to do 2013 without naming any as we to ascertain if or not he did it at the end of the day. How do you trust a man that is not specific.

Talk about making lagos a tourist centre in Africa, seriously i will like to see that happen but b4 then dont forget that as we speak now Akwaibom is the number one tourist centre in the country.

So manythings fashola is planning to do is still on the pipeline while akpabio has accomplished most of them,
And when you compare the quality of roads built by fashola with that of akpabio you will weep for lagosians and that is why JB park and go to uyo.

Talking about airport and seaports pls kindly visit akwaibom and stop doing arguement base on Acn media hype, mm2 is motor par to compear wat akpabio erected in uyo even the road that leads to uyo airport looks like paradise.

A trip to akwaibom will change your perspective to nigeria politicians.
My brother that's the catch. I hate it when someone judges a places he's not been to like that. I'm yet to see a more beautiful and peaceful state in Nigeria than Akwa Ibom. Truth be told. He transformed the start overnight, from a backyard previously unknown state to an economic hub and tourist destination of choice.
I met a guy who confessed that when he came back to Uyo, he couldn't locate his family house just after 4 years.
PoliticsRe: Why Fashola Is The Best Option For Nigeria Come 2015. by Ola17: 8:57am On Jun 26, 2013
bloggernaija: Stop posting rubbish. Y
Fashola -apkabio ..............not even. close. Comparing a strategic thinker to a village headmaster.
In fact apkabio cannot become a commissioner in Lagos .
You have to compare him to obongo of Equatorial Guinea or other ND governors.
What they have in common,
Too much money but without a clue of what to do with it.

Now let me summarise the strategic actions of fashola and other SW GOVERNORS in a few words

they are trying to isolate the southwest from the rigours and. instability of the nigerian economy.
Basically a state within a state.
1 tourism -lekki airport, eco Atlantic ,developments on the island-as the recent video shows, you do not need to go to the rest of the country. You can visit Nigeria without stepping out of the island.the potential returns from tourism is huge. Forecasted to be the hub of african high society and business headquarters of many multinational .

2 badagry development and badagry expressway-tourism,free trade zone like Dubai

3lekki free trade zone -hub of petrochemical and other industries ,market- the west ,central and South African regions

4Ok free trade zone(OGUN and ondo) -export oriented ,value added services-dangote refinery will be constructed here.

You see , an "intelligent" (emphasis on the word intelligent) Niger delta governor would have invested some of their huge resources on building refineries and power stations thereby cornering the market. However,it seems the southwest is running with that ball. already.
Like the southwest already does with poultry and very soon. rice.
Of course, the only thing that can make you post that rubbish up there is because you have refused to leave your little cocoon in Lagos to visit other parts of the country. Have you ever been to Akwa Ibom? Do you know Akpabio personally to say he's not fit to be a commissioner in Lagos? I use to think like you, that everything starts and ends in Lagos, but now I'm wiser.
I've been to Akwa Ibom a number of times and can tell you authoritatively that in terms of completed capital projects, Akpabio beats Fashola hands down. The only aspect the man failed woefully is in poverty alleviation. Not everybody thrives on media propaganda like Fashola. Learn how to shed the toga of emotions and sentiments, at least in some matters.

This is a sheer propaganda by the enemies of ROTIMI AMAECHI to use everything within their power to discredit, dishonour, disfavour, dehumanise and distort the good works of ROTIMI AMAECHI.

We have been inundated in the past that GOMBE AND BENUE STATES has the largest reported cases of HIV/AIDS occurrence. This report is unacceptable because, it comes from the pit of hell.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Faults Clampdown On Boko-Haram Members by Ola17: 12:45am On Jun 03, 2013
SMH
Just when you think you have heard the worst from Buhari, he throws in another shocker. I can't seem to understand why he keeps telling us that ND militants received "special" treatment and how a plane was sent to carry them to Abuja.
For crying out loud sir the BH demons were given the same opportunity but what did we get, they asked the president to convert to Islam and then later said they are the ones to grant Nigeria amnesty; Is that not madness?
Should the government continue to fold its arms and watch as its citizens are brutally and violently killed as they did for so long? I can't believe this is the type of person that wants to come back as a civilian president; God forbid!
Buhari, I think you are very wicked and extremely bigoted. Too bad that this is the type of character that we in the SW are aligning with politically.
