My sisters husband was earning less than 30k before they got married but now he earns close to 400k, always be rational in your decision, its not you that will be in the marriage but your sister , allow your sister to choose for herself ; you as a person should be more concern about the vision, aspirations, dreams of any man that your sister wants to marry not you coming up with the idea of whether or not to allow your sister marry someone who warns 30k. Be guided............. lilwetdick: if you have a sister, will your father allow a man earning 30k to marry your sister? pls be realistic |

Not always true, in most cases shoprite item is more cheaper than that iya basira kiosk. Pr0cter: Those people you are helping in the shopping mall don't really need it. They could afford what they want to buy that's why they are in a shopping mall if not, they would have gone to Iya Basira, the one that sells provision in Kiosk down their street to buy.
Those who actually needs help are those living under the bridge, those that live in the ghetto, those labourers who do dirty jobs. Those who beg on the road side needs this gesture not this one's in the shopping mall. |

You are absolutely correct, but I have seen more third class people and people who didn't even finish school than people with higher grades having so many staffs in their own organization ....... Though I love the guys zeal for a higher 4point , we all want something different in our lives..... Our pursuit is different. As for me I want money and School does not bring money in most cases. So I looked out for a legitimately way of making the money...... And I'm happy on the part I'm going. If the guy is happy on is part, good for him. But take depression out of it. generationz: You won't blame him.
When you set your mind to something and can't achieve it despite all the hard work it can be depressing.
He actually has a good attitude towards success. This is the attitude expected of him right now in school.
When he comes out that will take care of itself.
Let us not glorify mediocrity.
There are many bright students looking for jobs yes, but also many more who have achieved things faster than their peers with sheer determination and will power. |
Politics › Re: Bayelsa Election: Timi Frank Congratulates Lyon, Urges Secondus To Resign by ola9ja(m): 10:40am On Nov 18, 2019 |
I love this, nobody rules forever.... Everybody wants to be God father... Dickson hasn't been helpful to even people he grew up with. Good for him. Let him rest Mrsoundoro: A Political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, on Monday, congratulated the Governor-elect of Bayelsa state, David Lyon, describing his victory as deserving.
Frank in a statement in Abuja also urged National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and the National Working Committee (NWC) led by him to apologise or resign over the loss of a state controlled by the party since 1999.
“This victory was not won by the APC but by the people of Bayelsa who have resisted imposition and oppression with their blood because of their implicit confidence in the capacity of Lyon to transform the state and change their story for the better,” he said.
He called on Lyon to be magnanimous in victory and to serve as a dependable rallying point for all Bayelsans irrespective of their political affiliations, ethnicity or creed.
Frank said: “Your victory is not an APC’s mandate but that of the the collective will of the people of Bayelsa. Please when you assume office, strive to use it to unite the people of Bayelsa because the state can only attain true peace, development and greatness when united.
“Bayelsa has been divided for too long, but you have been chosen to heal their wounds and wipe their tears.
“Bayelsa has elected you Governor, it is now your turn to govern Bayelsa and cater for all Bayelsans.
“What you do from now will prove whether the confidence now reposed in you by the majority of Bayelsans was misplaced or you will justify their hopes and aspirations by carrying all stakeholders, including those who contested against you, along in your efforts to realise the Bayelsan dream and thus build a greater state we can all be proud to bequeath to upcoming generations.
“Your opponents during the election equally have lofty ideals and ideas for the advancement of the state. Therefore, embrace and work with them in the quest to realise the overall objective of governance which is the welfare and security of the people of the state.”
Frank prayed for the repose of the souls that were lost during the just concluded exercise and equally commiserated with the families of the victims.
“These innocent Bayelsans whose lives have been brutally cut short died in the service of the state. They paid the supreme sacrifice to make Bayelsa great. Let these deaths, injuries and property destroyed not be in vain.
“I urge you to immediately set up a truth and reconciliation committee to appraise all that transpired before, during and after the election, with a view to ensure holistic healing and reunification of the various interests in the state.”
Frank noted that the emergence of Lyon as Governor-Elect has vindicated his position that the PDP had chosen to relinquish the governance of Bayelsa to the opposition APC when it decided to field a weak candidate against a popular aspirant who could have steered the party to victory.
He called on the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and the National Working Committee (NWC) led by him, to immediately apologise to all leaders and members of the party in Bayelsa State in particular and the country in general, or resign their positions for deliberately trading the party’s political capital and dominance in the state for a pot of porridge.
“Secondus and the NWC knew what to do but they neglected to do it. This defeat is directly attributable to their poor choices, myopic political calculations and selfishness.
“It is our hope that the outcome of the Bayelsa State governorship election will serve as a lesson to the party to field popular candidates in future elections. The era of imposition is over. Take note,” he said.

Things are hard for everyone here, but they decided traveling out to try their luck outside Nigeria. While we decided staying behind (though the opportunity never presented itself ni o ). We Nigerians still living at home need being rewarded for our patience and withstanding long suffering, not the proverbial prodigal sons that just returned home.
While sojourning in South Africa, enjoying life and living large (perhaps living low also), how much did they deemed fit sending back to the state? I’m not expecting the state to bear the burden of “bringing them back to life” but their families. |

Good morning everyone This is a general notice to vehicular road users, there is this police man called Wobo who is stationed at a road block along Port Harcourt Owerri road , he is a complete disgrace to the Nigeria Police, the said wobo and is team members are exploiting road users of their hard earned money , they will stop vehicles, collect their licence and particulars then ask them to park, they will now look for a non existent offence to capitalise on, I , my boss and Colleagues had a personal encounter with the said wobo himself , he even mistakenly called himself Samuel so I presume his names to be Samuel Wobo, it could even be his nickname because police men who engage in such act don't always show their identity and he did covered his name. We came from Lagos to Port Harcourt for a Calibration job, on our way back to Lagos after we concluded the job, the said wobo stopped us collected our waybill and read it but misinterpreted it, in his words he said Yoruba people dey always behave like say na ona sabi book pass, he wanted to school us so as to exploit us He read the the waybill and concluded that we were not suppose to go back to Lagos with the equipments and yet it wasn't stated that we should be coming back with an empty vehicle, he delayed us for about an hour , we called the office and this said wobo, spoke with our admin manager , his conversation with him was suppose to be a confirmation and not asking us to bribe him , he finally became a judge and said our offence will attract a fine of 100litres of fuel and because of our own time we ended up paying the sum of 2000 Naira to this terrible police officer Wobo Samuel, we were able to stylishly take a photograph of him from the back, This man should be investigated and prosecuted accordingly. See pictures below.

I can bet you that the guy with a third class is 200% smarter than you, though you could be more intelligent than him academically , of which I doubt, because people like you have sorted all your life in school and finally came out with a 2:1 or so, but if you do not have a first class, keep your stinking mouth shut because you didn't max it all, you should answer the guys question with respect. Mind you certificates is just overated, exam is never the true test of knowledge.
