Truly dragons don't win wars but they tip the scale of battles and give some advantages to the owners. That's why getting vhagar is a great win for the greens despite the fact that the blacks have more potential dragons in their possession.

But you're wrong in choosing Lord larys over caraxes, Larys might be a good strategist and a psycho but only caraxes can withstand the strength of vhagar despite the former being smaller. He is not called the bloodwyrm for nothing, he is a badass
