1. Adverts on TV or national dailies
2. Local Sponsor organizations e.g affiliate banks, finance houses, finance related govt. organs
3. People of financial repute bearing witness.
4. Exact venue for the seminar.

Guys beware, scammers are getting better and more suphisticated daily, so please let us get our thinking caps on and not fall prey to the "fallacy of appeal to emotion".

Well next of kin i suppose is someone you trust to act on your behalf if circumstances prevent you. It's a thing of choice, however, for the married I would expect that your spouse should be your next of kin, but for several reasons you may decide to use someone else. In your case it could be that your hubby got so used to who he was using before marriage or is ignorant on the subject, probably he still has the mindset that his mum is more trustworthy than you, there could be several reasons.
I would suggest that you discuss the topic with him and you may be surprised that there is nothing to be worried about.

I could not but feel concerned about your story, anyone in your shoes will act that way because our pasts have a way of influencing our actions, however, I'll say you should focus more on teaching your children how to tell you everything that happens to them while you are not around. Also, please it will be good if you changed your perception that being married is all about the money each partner brings to the table or bread winning. Some men just need a wife they can have confidence in, a woman that can be strong for the family if he is not there.
