The solution is simple, rather than let it waste, the present government should invest heavily in infrastructure and services that will attract traffic to Ebonyi state in addition to heavy investment in human capital development.

Romance / Re: Does This Mean She Is Cheating? by oladcity(m): 10:36am On Nov 22, 2020
CrescentMoon:
Wife has been refusing sex for a long time. So, I don't bother about her again as I just masturbate whenever I feel pressured to overload the thing.

But recently, we had sex. Her puny used to be very tight to the extent that initial entry wouldn't be easy. But during last sex, my thing just went in straight without any pre-intimacy or stress.

It looks like someone is dicking this one. With this thought, I just bone her thing and it pains her.

Young man, your wife is not cheating on you. You mentioned that it had been a long time before you had sex again. Your wife was most likely sex starved and she was turned on, when that happens, she becomes well lubricated and everything about her wants you, that explains why there seemed to be no restriction. I would advise you spend more time in pre-intimacy before having sex with your wife, it seems to me that you always want to go to sex immediately before her body is ready hence her refusal.

Family / Re: Please Help: How Do You Find A Mother You Have Never Met by oladcity(m): 10:51am On Jul 19, 2020
Why do i have a feeling that telling you who your mother is may bring more pain to you.

Godlovesyou28:
I type this with so much pain and sense of loss. I found out about two years ago that my step mum is not my real mum (everyone keeps wondering why am just waking up to the obvious).

I grew up being hated by my mum's (now step mum) family, usually beaten, overworked and deprived; but I was told that I was being trained to be strong since I was the first daughter by my mum (now step mum). At age seven I cooked all the meals except my (dads soups) and did all the cleaning. By age ten I cook every single meal at home, wash all the cloths and Iron, clean the house and run all the errands while my siblings both older and younger play and watch TV. I always felt my mum (step mum) will love me just a little bit more if I worked harder; she always told me I was special (and different) and that she loves me so much but does not know how to show it. cry . It hurt me deeply then that I was different so much so that its expression translated to pain; but that's in my past now and I have no regrets.

Fast forward, am all grown up and fully independent, then a distant relative I helped told me two years ago that my mum is not my real mum with facts. For me it was a relief (I thought there was something wrong with me that made me unloveable and to be treated different and given less, but I know better now). I am more confident knowing she never loved me and that it was no fault of mine.

Now, I just can't move on knowing I have a mother and I want to meet her and ask her questions (why she would dump her child for another woman to raise? Why she never came back to take me? Etc). And also if we could catch-up and be friends maybe.

The problem is that no one wants to tell me anything since most of my family members fear my dad and keep referring me back to my dad; I visited my dad and begged him to tell me who she is (I cried so much that he had to beg me to stop), he asked me to go so he can discuss it with my mum (step mum) but now shouts me down each time I bring up the topic.

I want to find my real mother cry cry cry cry . l don't know why I can't sleep or think about anything else. I need closure. I have been advised to sue my dad and am considering it. Please help me, I can't bear knowing I have a mother out there and not know who she is. Please help!

Demichaels:
I work in a Company with less than 10 staff somewhere in Abuja. Just recently, a young lady was employed to do her industrial training.

When she started, she was full of her self and does not associate with anyone in the office. While some staff (male and female) tried to relate with her, I kept her at arm's length and related with her only on official matters.

A month later, I was assigned to train her in my department to enable her get some experience before the duration of her Industrial training elapses. I accepted but decided to be strictly professional. Along the line, I observed that she does not pay full attention anytime we are together for the training. I tried as much as I could to be receptive but she still pay less attention. She would not even come herself for the training except I either send for her or call her through the intercom. Then I decided I will teach her anything only when she willingly submit herself. She never did and I maintained my stand and stopped teaching her.

Fast forward to a month before her stay with us elapses she became unusually nice and loyal and could do anything even before I give full details.

I was surprised but maintained my peace. One day, I asked her why she suddenly changed her attitude towards me she just smiled and left. Everyone in the office noticed her change of attitude and was surprised.

She started being even Romantic and extremely nice to me to the extent that I became uncomfortable. Just the other day, she told me in plain words that she can do anything for me and I asked her why and she said nothing.

She is not the type of girl I can date but she can be just a bed warmer.

What do you think?

You should have notified your accounts department immediately you found out.
Even if you end up paying the money, just pray management does not get to know about it later, you may be punished for trying to handle the matter on your own. It's an integrity issue.
I advise you still discuss it with someone in the accounts department or better still make a formal report.

Funny, but I hope the parents see that the baby was at risk of being electrocuted. She was sitting on the floor (earth) and resting her body on a refrigerator that has part of its insulation (paint) off.
If there is any current leakage on that refrigerator, the baby completes the circuit and that may have been another story that touches.
Please let us look out for safety in all we do.

I am obliged to give a summary of my experience with Nnacent. It was a very pleasant one.
On this faithful day, I put on my Samsung LED TV and all of a sudden the picture went off and I could only hear the sound, initially I thought it would fix itself, but after staying for about a week without a TV I decided to search Nairaland, that is when I came across this thread, I immediately put a call through to Nnacent, he asked me a few questions to troubleshoot the problem and he was able to pin point the problem.
The next thing I did was to send him the model number on whatsapp and voila in a day my TV was back to normal. he only had to replace the faulty component (Tcon board) after we agreed on price.
What is most impressive about him is that he demonstrated exceptional knowledge of his craft, he also came across as honest and he was business minded.
I will definitely recommend him.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Already Frustrated With My New Job by oladcity(m): 2:06am On Nov 08, 2014
@op
Young man, you were given the job of a technical assistant (TA), "technical support coordinator" is just an embellishment. I guess lessons learnt here is that the impression a job title gives is different from actual job function.
TA position is actually a good place to start for an OND holder, but the employment situation in the country is what makes BSc/BEng holders take such jobs.
My advise: Focus on your job, this will give you an idea of what the engineers are doing, begin to ask them to cascade some of their jobs to you, so that you can relieve them of too much work, then deliver outstanding results. In time they will see value in you and make you an offer. Alternatively, look for another job, but whichever option you take, be HAPPY.
