san316: I have a feeling that the FG is trying to experiment to find out whether Nigerians have functional brains or not. Within just two weeks, they have done many evidently clear things and later come out denying it expecting Nigerians to concur. This is sad. We have a lying government.

Please talk about what you know. That picture does not necessarily mean Modu Sheriff was on entourage with the president. The special assistant to Module Sheriff had just issued a press release dismissing Lai Mohammed's statement. Sheriff had been in the country as a businessman in Chad .He only went to pay homage to his home president. He did not travel with Jonathan to Chad. Stop been fooled by Lai Mohammed and his propagandist APC!

Can you guys show some decorum while speaking about your president? How will you feel if somebody insults your parents in like manner? A Special assistant to Modu Sheriff had issued a press statement dismissing Lai Mohammed's statement. Modu Sheriff had been in Chad before the President's visit. He is said to have business offices in that country. He only went to pay a welcome visit to his home president. Please you people should stop maligning the office of the president. Our free access to the internet should not be used as an excuse to become public nuisance.
Politics › Re: Debt Profile: Fashola Justifies N160bn State’s Debt by OLADD: 4:25pm On Sep 11, 2014
pheesayor: I'm not justifying corruption, the cost of building is way high especially in a place like Lagos and there is little the state can do about factors only the federal government can control. There's also need for return on investment, it is people like you that jumped on the news of the debt profile of lagos.

As for FERMA on Ikorodu road, you're wicked liar because I ply that route (Yaba to Maryland) and it is LPWC (Lagos Publics Works Corporation) I see there carrying out maintenance and not FERMA.

Lagos is doing well in most areas and they only need to be encouraged to do better.

Check the truth you've been standing by properly and make amends.

Cheers.

Its high time we stopped celebration of pettiness and tokenism. Yes, we can see some roads been constructed, Buses been procured, some houses been built, but can we conveniently say these are the products of N160 billion debt and almost N20 billion monthly IGR? I can say without contradiction that more than 60% of Lagos state revenue and debt had gone into politicians pockets. The state should be rubbing shoulders with London, Dubai, NY etc in terms of outlook and development if those debts and IGR had been judiciously applied. That's an incontrovertible fact.

Fashola and APC are a perfect match of deceits and subtleness. Each time questions are asked about his oppressive, prodigal and flagrant governance he cunningly beats around the bush. What has BB rating got to do with pyramid of debt which the state cannot justify? Can he sincerely tell us that Lagos state's debt is commensurate with what we see on ground in terms of concrete development? He and his godfather(Tinubu) should pray that an opposition does not win Lagos in 2015, or else, they may go to jail.
Agriculture › Re: FG Set To Ban Hides And Skin “ponmon” by OLADD: 6:04pm On Sep 09, 2014
People should stop crying over ban of eating dead cells.

You are just spot on. Many do not even know that ponmo is ordinary skin and not meat.

Nutritionists have overtime downplayed the value of Ponmo to our system. In other words, ponmo does not really add any nutrient to our body. If reasons been adduced by the minister are anything to go by, then its ban is ok.
