Rawani: Nigerians are in trouble if this man is returned next year, I hope part of his campaign is to tell Nigerians the evil deal he had with Governors, which made them unanimously present him as their party's flag-bearer without primaries. It's you that will be in trouble and not the generality of Nigerians. You cannot claim to be more patriotic than millions of Nigerians calling for his reelection. Jonathan will rule till 2019. |
Astuteleader: As far as the opposition fail to produce credible character that will challenge Goodluck to a stand still in d poll,Jonathan remains d only option come 2015. Do you think an amalgamation of disenchanted people can agree on a common front? APC is a party of angry people who came together just for the purpose of realising their individual interest. You will see how the party will implode before 2015. Mark my words. |
Adetayo100: I wish the President Goodluck, he will probably be sent packing nxt year Was that a revelation from the pit of hell? Jonathan Ebele Goodluck is the president of Nigeria till 2019. |
egift: Isn't it funny how INEC place a ban on Campaigns but look the other way when this is happening. If it were the Opposition, their tongues will be everywhere. You are just been myopic and deceitful. Were you not in the country last week when APC held its northwest rally under the excuse of NEC inauguration? It was an event beamed live on AIT and we all saw what transpired there. Virtually all the party chieftains were represented and it was all campaign galore. Stop been unrepentantly evil in your sycophancy. |
JECBOSS: God Bless President Jonathan! Amen. God bless the president of the most populous black nation on our planet. Good luck to all those who work for the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria. |
sorom4: Wondering why some people talk trash! Must the President visit Maiduguri or any terrorist infested area b4 you know that he is not happy? Will such people visit such areas if they were the President? The President of any country will never be allowed to go to a place he may be killed. Lets try and acquaint ourselves with the term "NATIONAL SECURITY". In as much as I know that the duty of every Head of a State is to make sacrifices to the people that Seconded. Those fools will be the first to blame him if the unexpected happens while visiting an insurgence zone. As the president and commander in chief of armed forces, all he can do is to assign responsibilities to his officials and he has been doing that satisfactorily. Those who fight and run away have opportunity of fighting again. We have a situation where northern leaders are protecting Shekau and his cohorts and some idiots are expecting the president to make himself a sacrificial lamb. Woe betides you for such silly talks. |
iheneme: My able president goes where he chooses, and there's nothing anybody can do about it. Seconded. They can rant anyway they like, it doesn't stop our president from moving forward. |
Tolexander: cry me a lagoon! I am pretty sure you know nobody is crying here. You will definitely be ensnared by the words of your mouth. and all the silky things you write. |
samdesam: I dnt just blame all of u wey d abuse my Jona, u guys should tell ur fathers to go n pick tickets 4 next yrs election if u feel Jonathan is no good. Ofcourse them no fit fill party form self. Jealousy! Seconded. |
anonimi: Is that not what the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)who is constitutionally RESPONSIBLE for this avoidable DEATHS and ensuring it never happens anymore doing You are spot on.. It's ironic that these morons have never bothered to condemn Fashola under whose leadership more than 12 buildings had caved in between 2007 and now, and he has never prosecuted anybody (his officials who approved the collapsed buildings and contractors whose greed contributed to the disasters). I don't know when a visit by the president to a disaster venue has become a crime. |
cktheluckyman: Why didnt the then ACN and ANPP leaders visit the Niger- delta creeks during the days of MEND'd insurgency. You APC folks are quite unstable. One moment you accuse GEJ of sponsoring Boko haram and the next moment he is a coward scared of boko haram. You are right. Such degree of instability is evident in their reactions. You can detect similitude of frustrations in them but whatever they say now or in the nearest future will not stop GEJ from ruling this country till 2019. |
gab19: if ur papa na president shey u go advice am mk he go bama, yeye person. Do u kn wat lead 2 d death of muritala, he died as a result of nt heeding 2 security warnings. Ode person mk u dey there dey talk any hw. Just don't mind the idiots. They can advise their parents to act as volunteers by heading to Bama, Gwosa and even Sambissa. |
Tolexander: he has something to offer! So, it's only condemnation and setting up of committee he has been doing. Can you open your heart and stop unreasonable comments? Are you the one that leads soldiers fighting in the northeast? Were you the one that arrested Ogwuche and other bombing suspects through the DSS? Just continue to say all sorts of damaging things against your president, you will surely reap what you sow. |
Aringon: The manner and attitude of children nowadays to demean, insult and resort to name calling the President. The next generations will also insult, maligh, demean and insult all of u IJN. Amen Seconded. Let me equally add that by the time they begin to receive their rewards for the tantrums been thrown at the president, their shame will be double portion of what they are doing now, their subordinates will disparage them and whenever they hold any leadership position, they shall be pulled down by their subjects. |
ILIDEFI: Nigerians and amnesia.... Very shameful. Very thoughtful piece. However, only the liberal minded and God fearing Nigerians will give it serious considerations. Even if majority believes in lies and mischief, at lease we thank God that people like you are around to say the truth and not follow the crowd. |
ILIDEFI: Nigerians and amnesia.... Very shameful. |
deScifa: I dont remember when Lt Gen Onyabor Azubuike Ihejirika who was COAS between September 2010 and January 2014 became a Northerner........between u dont expect Nigeria police to face BH do u? Like someone said...your updates shows your job here....its your job keep it up.....but remember.....dias God Ooooooo You are spot on about Ihejirika but what about those before and after him? I am not trying to bring tribalism into this. It's just to buttress my earlier points. And finally, I place my conscience and God in all my actions and inactions.. Good night. |
cbrass: Millions May God keep us till 2015 and beyond but MARK MY WORDS, GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN WILL RULE NIGERIA TILL 2019. |
obailala: Really?.. That it is all opposition propaganda? My friend, let the God that created you and all of us bear witness, I will not stoop to the point of seeking gratification or monetary gain to become praise singer for anybody. It runs contrary to one of my philosophies. Rather, I am convinced beyond any doubt that GEJ is a better president compared to his predecessors and that's a fact. His humility and civility is second to none. And contrary to what others want us to believe, he's much more opposition friendly. We are all living witnesses to so many assassinations that took place in another President's reign in this country, are we not seeing godliness in GEJ? I can go on and on but I don't want to be seen as the president's apologist. I am just trying to obey the commandment God that says we should pray for our leader instead of condemnations. Agreed the president has his flaws, so do I, you and everyone on planet earth. To cap it all, I have a feeling the president means well for the nation. I may be right or wrong, posterity will judge all of us. So I am not a paid agent but a liberal minded Nigerian who looks at issues from different perspectives rather than narrow mindedness. One thing I will never do nonetheless is to call my president CLUELESS, FOOL. DUMB, DAFT, etc. It's ungodly. |
deScifa: U dont have to school me on FOI.....my question is was it as a result of an Executive function? whats the correlation between Uncle Jona and the Act?.......About Sanusi....was money missing or not? We are no fools....it was glaring that there was lot of politicking after Sanusi allegation to sweep the ish under the carpet......and that was successfully done. what is your opinion about the Kerosene subsidy ? So you don't believe the Senate that says no money is missing?. The Senate committee that passed that verdict was comprised of members across all major Nigerian parties. |
deScifa: Lol.....let me tell you why it is easy.......Boko Haram did not just grow wings over night? No matter how weak Jonathan administration seem to portray our Military they remain one of the best in Africa......pls tell me how many attacks Osama and co successfully executed in those 10years....its was mostly terror from outside.....US protected its citizens........in a state of emergency where their is curfew.....pls tell me...how the Bokoharamist are successfully walking the streets and killing innocent people in the North East.....yeye dey smell Now I know where you are coming from. You seem to give an impression to be wiser than ministers of defence, Chiefs of Army Staff, and even the IGPs who have all been northerners. Do you border to know why they have failed to track down their kinsmen? .Give Mr.President a break Boko haram has so much more colourations than you know. Pls be informed. |
deScifa: Yes because thats what he is and have shown him self to be. I regret casting my vote for the shoe-less one......most Nigerians voted from him on pity and cos most can identify with his background.....that was then....u guys can not sell pity to us again.....trying to sell...."the world hate Jonathan " or ''jonathan against the cabal to us......if i vote for uncle Jona...no be my papa born me.....even if he eventually become the president for the second term...which is possible if the other political thieves(APC) give us Buhari as alternative. That's ok. It's a free world. While you are entitled to your position, there are millions out there who will vote for him in 2015. Those millions cannot be all fools. |
deScifa: Must everything be termed propaganda and from the APC, mere Political mud sliding? Nigeria we hail thee.......i think its best u decide for your self instead of and not try to involve everyone in your praise singing charade. How does FOI bill become an executive function? abeg explain Go and confirm the source of those corruption allegations, they are 100% from APC and their sympathisers. Was Sanusi not used by APC to discredit Jonathan? Was he not an established APC righthand man? And for FOI, it simply means Freedom of Information Act,. It's available for those that care to obtain firsthand and reliable information on govt and private transactions instead of propagating falsehood. Please be informed. |
besty211: He deserves it...do u mean He can't track the funding for Boko Haram and arrest a sponsor till date and He's not daft?He can't account for d missing $20 billion? He protects a criminal like Diezani...what about the refineries He promised in 2011?What about job creation? What about d anti corruption war?....He sure is daft. If you think tracking Boko haram and their sponsors is such easy why can't you profer a suggestion? Have you forgotten that the US with all their sophistry had to wait for 10 years to track down Osama? If the accusers of Deziani are so sure of their allegations , why can't they pursue further litigations? And for the so called $20biilon missing money, are you more intelligent and informed than the senate that says such money is not missing? Why do people like you derive so much pleasure in mischief? |
deScifa: I dont know why some stuuupid paid mofooos wll not reason beyond their nose. How can you jump into such silly comparison.....what are his achievements? unless u are talking about the level of impunity in the country presently. Am sure u are smiling to the banks so the cry of ordinary Nigerian does no concern u. pls use your brain. On the contrary , you are the one that exhibit every form of incivility. In the first instance, who told you I am a paid agent. Agent for who? Why do people like you always see those with contrary opinion to yours as paid agent? For your information, I can never be on anybody's payroll on issues concerning my country. Second, you said GEJ's achievements are abstract? Search your conscience again to know if you are right. Check out massive investments in Agriculture, Rail system, electricity, road infrastructure, platform for credible elections, educational institutions in the six geopolitical zones etc and etc. Are you saying these are not real? Was there any administration that came close to those feats. GEJ may not score 100% but he commands more than 60% rating and that fair. |
deScifa: What kinda yeye decorum.....we are in a democracy for crying out loud....any one can express their views for and against the president....people expressed their views openly against OBJ so what kinda yeye plus is freedom of expression for GEJ....i think we should not allow ethnic sentiment, political affiliation and material gain over ride our sense of good judgement. Lets call a spade a spade....Nigeria as a state nor the office of the president of Nigeria has never been this ridiculed. I can tell you with all sincerity that there was no ethnic colouration in my views. Yes, we are in democracy, but is it a licence for unguided use of derogatory words against the sitting president? This is the first time in the history of Nigeria that citizens throw caution into the wind by calling the president such names as daft, dumb, clueless etc. Can either of your parents be abused in such manner? Freedom of expression is not freedom of irresponsibility. Whether you like the president or not, he remains the father of the nation according to the will of God. Nobody becomes the leader of any nation without God's consent. That's the truth. But if you choose to continue with such impunity, remember there is a price for all our actions and inactions. |
obailala: Really? It's obvious you are one of Nigerians who have fallen prey to media propaganda and opposition gimmicks. Contrary to your view, Jonathan has set a precedence for probity and accountability in governance. The fact that he defends his officials who are accused of corruption does not suggest he supports corrupt acts. Rather, he does that to wade off those who are heck bent in witch hunting his officials for the sole purpose of pulling down his govt. Have you ever pondered why those who accused GEJ and his ministers of corruption have never gone beyond media noise and name calling? With the FOI and access to legal representation, why did they not seek further evidence for those alleged corrupt acts and use same for prosecution? Whether you believe or not, those alleged corruption are mere political mud sliding deployed by opposition political parties(APC to be precise) to win public support and portray GEJ as a corrupt president who should not be accorded the benefit of standing for reelection. If you and other accusers are so sure of those allegations, the courts are there for possible prosecution. Stop been used by APC to disparage the presidency. |
omenka: And so shall confusion continually dwell in the midst of the enemies of this great country!! And those "enemies of the nation" are the ones that gave you the opportunity of expressing yourself freely on nairaland. Do a personal appraisal before condemning others. |
Kayraph: Ok na. But why are they bothered about the guy's political activities na. This is not about intimidation. A bonafide and responsible party member should carry his/her party hierarchy along in any political move. Only a treacherous party man like Tambuwwal will claim alliance to his party only to be seen working with and for the opposition. Get that right. |
taharqa: I thought the investigation was from 2005-2010 wen GEJ wasn't even President, and that was d same GEJ who, tru his AG, ordered d said investigation?? Why re sm ikpiis calling his name? God bless you sir. At least we have a reasonable person here. |
obailala: Thank God nobody has come out to foolishly defend the man or castigate Premium Times for this expose... I am quite sure however that this my joy may be short lived.. Some dolts would soon myopically interpret this report as an assault on Jonathan's good administration and therefore take it upon themselves to defend the man.. LoL It's amazing you're thanking God for a mere media report. No wonder many pray but are not answered because they pray amiss. Will you also thank God if a report emanates from the press about your parents and the whole world begin to condemn without substance? |
fairheven: Can we just stop this nonsense!this is just an indictment for God sake! An he has not been convicted by any court of law,and besides, corruption is not akin to any tribe or group,it is just a state of mind and that cuts accros tribalism. Be rest assured they will not stop. But they shall all be rewarded for judging without concrete evidence. Those who derive pleasure in abusing their president at reckless abandon should expect the same measure in their leadership positions |
