Ginaz:Satisfaction is really important, with how good you look your man will definitely over satisfy you ![]() |
The house was a storey building, well built, with a massive gate at the entrance, it was colorfully painted in a deep chocolate and cream color and the manner of the painting was such that, the house looked like a giant chocolate cake ready to be eaten and indeed i was ready to eat up the house literally because as soon as i stepped into the compound i fell in love with the house and i knew i was going to take the house , after waiting for about ten minutes with the estate agent that brought me to the house, the landlord came down to meet us, he looked to be in his forties, with a large build, he was thick set and looked more like a wrestler than a house owner. He welcomed me warmly, he seemed happy to see me and was oblivious to the presence of the estate agent, perhaps he had seen the man way too often and his presence mattered less to him, he took me round the apartment, it was a two bedroom apartment with a large living room and two bedrooms en-suite, the apartment looked really neat like it was recently cleaned, he told me he just recently moved out of the apartment to the upper flat having recently completed the top flat, which explains the neatness of the flat, we soon deliberated on the price and other payments, including monthly security fees and power supply bills. A week after my deliberations with the landlord i paid for the apartment and moved in with my wife and two year old daughter, my wife loved the apartment and my two year old daughter had plenty of space to play around in and she was obviously enjoying herself too, subsequently i met the landlord's wife and his two boys, not long after i moved into the apartment i noticed that my landlord wasn't around most of the time and it was only on weekends that i get to see him and even then not so often, i thought him to be a busy business man, his wife was not a full time house wife because she went to work every morning, leaving the children with their house help. It wasn't long before i found out the kind of work my landlord did, i and a couple of my colleagues from work had been drafted to go for a training workshop in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, i took time out during the training to go to the bank to effect a transaction that needed to be done to get a payment through to my boss, minutes after i got to the bank, we started hearing gun shots outside the bank not sure what to do we customers and bank staff alike started panicking, not long after the gun shots started ringing out, the security door of the bank was blown out by explosives and a dozen armed men stormed into the banking hall, and ordered everyone to lie face down, the robbers didn't have masks on and the voice of the man that led the robbers sounded familiar to me and in that quick instant before i laid face down i saw the man's face and immediately recognized him as my landlord, that realization got me covering my face even better, because if for any reason this man discovers that i was in that place i would be in trouble, for the sake of my wife and my daughter, i covered my face the more knowing how much my life depended on it. I laid down there wishing this was all a dream and getting up would get me to wake from my slumber, but after 30 minutes the robbery was over and the reality of the whole incidence dawned on me, i just saw my landlord lead a gang of armed robbers to rob a bank, i was more confused and in a state of "what the heck just happened" than the bank manager who was running around checking on staff and customers to be sure everyone was fine, the remaining days of the workshop was difficult for me, i couldn't tell anybody not even my wife, besides i didn't want her to start panicking. I returned to Lagos that weekend and suddenly started feeling uncomfortable in that house, we had only stayed there for just two months, i am at least glad we paid for one year, i have since not been able to tell anybody that my landlord is an armed robber, now i see my landlord in a different way now, he laughs and jokes around the house but all i see is an armed robber, what to do now i don't know but what i do know is that as soon as my rent expires i will be leaving this house for good but until then, i remain a tenant in the house of a nice landlord who happens to be an armed robber culled from http://sayitnicely.com |
Investigation by credible sources, yesterday, revealed that the federal government has lined up a total of five witnesses that will testify against Saraki, including the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and incumbent governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Naisr El-Rufai. El-Rufai is expected to testify that he was the one that sold one of the assets that Saraki bought in Abuja, which the government alleged that he failed to include among the assets belonging to him. The government said it has already furnished Saraki with the proof of evidence against him, just as it also attached as exhibits, four different assets declaration forms the accused persons submitted to the CCB. “We have gathered enough evidence to prove that the defendant made anticipatory assets declaration”, Rotimi boasted. Before he exited the dock yesterday, Saraki, who was all smiles, gaily acknowledged cheers from his supporters who defied heavy security presence within the tribunal premises and thronged the court room in their numbers yesterday. source: http://www.publicaccountabilityleague.com/content/saraki-docked-fg-lines-el-rufai-4-other-witnesses-against-him

Lagos - The IT firm named by the Lagos State procurement office as receiving N78 million for the upgrade of former Governor Babatunde Fashola’s personal website, has denied receiving the said amount, Punch reports. Info Access Plus Limited said its quotation for the job was N12.5 million, and that the state eventually spent N10 million. The figure contradicts details released by the Lagos State procurement office, first reported by the budget analytic firm, BudgiT. The listing shows N78 million was spent on the website. According to information technology experts, www.tundefashola.com, created by the firm for the former governor, is a WordPress website and an upgrade could not have cost more than N300 000. The news of the expenditure has elicited outrage from Nigerians, with many using their social media accounts to lambast Fashola, widely seen as one of few upright politicians who could be given a cabinet position by President . source http://sayitnicely.com/ |

In life it is never about how far but how well, just because your friends made it before you does not mean you cannot make it more than them, keep faith and keep your hope alive while you work hard and work smart as you pursue your dreams, you will get there, even Bill Gates wasn't spared but he got there and he is still there.

The one information not included in the mail is the expertise of the person that wrote the letter and the number of years of experience he has and the relationship he has with the Boss in question. and from what i know, the person is an highly experienced IT person, has 5 years experience and has worked with the boss 4 years ago and a level of flexibility was expected but that was not the case. |
Chukwutobi:you really think its a bad decision? |
Dear Sir, Was hoping to bring up this discussion later this week, but after receiving notification of salary payment for May yesterday, payment which looks to have been taxed, contrary to our verbal agreement of 80,000 after tax, its imperative i bring this up and since it looks like you might not be in the office today i decided to send it as email, i apologize for the inconvenience. Sir, after four months (Feb-May) of working, it has become obvious to me that i cannot cope with the pay and the logistics of the job for the following reasons. 1. coming to work everyday and closing by 5pm (making me get home very late) even when there is no IT support work to do, making me sit out the whole day like a receptionist . 2. doing admin jobs (filling invoices, taking cheques to bank, attending to generator etc.) and running errands (including going to buy drink for your son) all of which are not part of an IT support person's job. 3. unconducive work environment. (i use my computer, i use my internet, office is always hot) Sir, managing with all of the reasons i have given above would have been a lot easier if was getting paid enough to do it, but for a contract non permanent job i am taking a pay cut to do, it is not workable. |
its true that when you code yourself you take away a lot of start up cost and its great to know you are a coder. what platform is the site developed on? and how long did it take you to complete a working version? i.e hotels.ng ver1.0 |
After an electrical failure in my car led to brake failure and locked steering, leaving me unable to control my car while driving down a slope on a busy intersection, this was the resultant damage, after i hit a stationary truck beside the road. So glad to be alive.
