Travel › You Need To Earn £35,000 To Stay In The U.k- N 9.1million To Stay by olajide8(op): 5:01pm On Nov 05, 2011
I was just going through one of the national dailies and it seems to me the british government is trying steal from us they way they have always done as our colonial masters, in my submission I think except I can be further enlighted that they have found out that their so called pound would soon have to be deregulated because of the euro zone problems facing europe and their economy may soon nose dive if they do not do some form of economic re-engineering, it reminded me of Bob Marleys song the "buffalo soldier" they have just found out that most of their citizens are not interested in working and this is causing a lot of issues for them economically after a close assessment of the greek economy, they have now decided to change gear from what I saw their they said that for any nigerian to live in the united kingdom for a year he would have to earn at least £35,000/annum about 9.1million naira imagine the turn over and economic boost 200,000 nigerians legal and illegal immigrants doing that amount just to stay in the u.k their economy would only get stronger as well as them making up the difference for their social service system OWO baba, critically speaking it would generate more spending and increased productivity in a foreign country because of the relunctance of their own people to do minial jobs and factory jobs, wahala dey O!

What exactly happens at contests and why do we always get it wrong In nigeria what are the real criteria these so called judges use to select winners they see the best they choose what's close to the best just because of a slight mis-que of the best it also happened during the last years edition of the maltina dance show, last years idols west nigeria and generally speaking the whole nigerian stratosphere she is neither that fine nor does she have the figure of a goddess sometimes I wonder how agbani won miss world but then you understand it has an international political under tone see go to the northern part of nigeria I opened my mouth with amazement when I saw these fulani girls bathing naked from a brigde on my way to a town they call AWE in Nasarawa state while their men were guarding them goooossssh beauty finish their O!

Business › Re: Cash Vs Credit Based Economy? by olajide8(m): 8:04am On Nov 03, 2011
Further more we restricted this discussion to aqdvanced societies that have well laid out structures we are talking about a develpoing economy here were largely 75% are illiterates or semi illiterates unemployment is high and security is low CORRUPTION is high do you know why its hard to track corrupt officials in Nigeria because everybody from the lowerest ranking officer that is directly or indirectly involved with a function requiring payment co-naive together to steal from the system I mean everyone from the accountants, auditors stores procurement officers Directors to the political appointees and only the greedy ones that eat alone get exposed, now imagine that system and imagine a credit system with these same set of men at the helm of affairs I bet you our case of recession would be worst then the american system now I think most of our policies makers are out of tune with the basics of what is happening on the streets most of these credit policies and the reasons given can only be appreciated in the long term what they would and how they would on a long term bases whereas we need immediate short term solutions that would metamorphous into these long term solutions, why start a credit system just to allow banks keep peoples money to also do cash transactions, where are the jobs and security of theses Jobs why can't Nigeria have an industrial revolution and infrastructural revolution first like china and stop trying to live the average social structure which is killing western countries why can't our Professor come out with research finds which are applicable and not waiting for handouts from the govt the reasons why we are not ripe as an country to start the credit system except it limited to certain areas I could go on but I think I would have to stop.
Business › Re: Cash Vs Credit Based Economy? by olajide8(m): 7:24am On Nov 03, 2011
@kachemnau a very nice exposition I hope it was your summary because of was quite detailed the only thing I couldn't decipher was the direct relationship between cash and credit
Well the credit would have been a good policy but we are not ripe for it if its done so many people wouldn't have assess to so many basic necessities it goes beyond buying items which is what they see it goes to availing credit lines to individuals I I beg to say only those working in government establishments multinational organisation may benefit and subsequently shutting out the majority target "people" that are supposed to benefit how would a person say a fulani buzu in the wilderness assess credit when he does have a steady well now address what of the way we average nigerias move change houses and locations how would that be managed what is the required infrastructure needed for this it may sound as simple as a P.O.S but it more complicated, you require a good network for internet services a very good fire wall to prevent you from hackers and viruses etc then comes the issue of what you would be buying with the credit cards the level of illiteracy etc then we would be confronted by the problem America is facing indebtedness to the tune of $3.5trillion dollars as a result of this same credit issue stealing of credit cards etc the country is already in trouble and I expect more proactive solutions like making credit available to SME closing the borders to importation of all items, encouraging transfer of technology and making nigerians work instead of waiting for govt handouts and sharing formular

Hmm nice business sense and talk gradually that would be what they would eventually "the viewing centres" turn into but is it really the films people go to silver bird to watch or the possibility of meeting jim ikye or a geniveve these are the attraction that come with going to a silver bird cinemas, and let's not forget the possibilty of meeting an old classmate whom is now a beautiful dame or dude taking a friend out to lunch on a date, the attraction of entering into a cleaner viewing environment, and let's not forget these films cost only 200 naira some a 100naira so why waste money going to a viewing center with no attraction

simple, they know when to stop being bad and they are very honest when dealing with guyz even when they portray them selves as bad to their compatrions, because they dont take guys as being foolish no pomposity, no extra effizzy, just pure honesty and when they do go for a guy they go for him totally making him feel secure and trusting him even when they shouldnt because they always believe what ever wrong a guy does its the law of kamal catching up with them, so they just give a man peace and are very accommodating. shekina

3 nursery
6 primary
6 secondary
4 compulsory for polytechnic or college for technical knowledge to all
2 or 3 for administrative knowledge during which the disparity issue would have been put rest and more mature people with a better focus on what they really want to become in life would have been formed and the 250k settlement issue for those aspiring to be admitted would have been put to rest, that's what's obtainable around the world why we don't practice what is right is an issue but we formulate a lot of upside down policies stupid paper Professors.

When chukuma soludo (Prof)took over as CBN Governor, he came with bank recapitalisation etc what happened failure they made overt night billionaires of a few at the expense of the majority, when Prof Dora took over min of information she came with rebranding my stolen idea, where did it end, failure, now 1 additional year what exactly is it meant for, well without too much ado another failure is eminent, with a lot of mis prioritisation as usual just the same stupid Phd people performing research work with Nigerians, they feel human behaviour is as constant as the law of motion, our book says if we do this it would result to , the most painful thing is they don't even have good students that they would share out topics too as their graduation research projects, GEJ (Dr) so also wants to become a Prof, he too is using nigerians as a test case for his research how to "effectively added insult to injury" these professors should remain teachers they just don't know what to do, and that's why they had so much time to become Professors since they are not in touch with reality, more shameful is the fact that they can't manage themselves that why they have registrars to manage them idiots

A critic or a cynic you may call me but this is the reason -its a Good thing to remember, a better thing to do, work with the construction gang not the wrecking crew",
first let us look at the whole team
1. They are basking in the euphoria of the past teams 1992, 94 and atlanta 96 teams, these present boys are a group WASTE, watch very well they can't control balls well ball control 38%, the early nigerian team players open the international space for them to export themselves by any means not by discovering them but them export themselves for trials NONSENSE, and they rub big boyism in our face.
2. Attack we don't have, a natural strike like rashidi yekini is now very hard to find they refuse to develope chris santos, give him"rashidi yekini" the ball like him or not toe master or not, instep or not you are in trouble, his big and heavy on the ground you can't just fall him easily and when he is running towards you, you would feel a bull is coming, currently we don't have any striker, plz don't refer to yakubu ayeni because that one is a complete mis fit if his on the field he would make it seem you are playing without 3 players, coz he would always make wrong passes and kick the ball over the bar side netting name it but not inside the post, in any team I wonder how he manages to score-self
3. No supporting striker some who can play behind the striker and connect wingers to the striker and dribble a bit, like kanu.
4. Presently we only have one winger or possibly 2 ahmed musa and nsofor - the only problem is nsofor isn't a team player he is selfish though his still better then some others
5. Mid field plz we should forget mikel in life if you don't improve you would rot he hasn't improved so his becoming a burden and to add insult to injury because he plays in chelsea he feels to big, (thou I sound like I'm envious I can't play but I read the matches) rubbish they should allow joel obi play and not call mikel again, to the national team look at his mates messi, c ronaldo, the list is endless they are getting only better its because of money he is getting worst if he had gone to manchester united imagine what alex fergusson would have done to him (useless boy).
6. The wings where is echijile, what of this other boy that had an injury and was taken to south africa, taye tawio left legged-ness has messed him up he can't trap a ball with his right and that is the problem if we can't get striking wingers and defensive wingers then we should look for ball jogglers mid feilders and allow them to play all wings and mid field and attacking wings we have a thousand of them in nigeria
7. Defense only yobo what has happened to tella boys all of them with the except of lukman haruna whom was not matured enough as at the last time "pride",
8. Siasia sorry but what format are you playing its either you play with the ball in front and all the players behind running forward, that means you are attacking or the ball is behind and all the plays sheild the ball from the opponents defense, or the ball is in between the boys and they create shapes triangles rectangles etc that means you are holding for possible attack, the technical committee you also can't see, imagine jay jay not asking this kind of question maybe he doesn't know himself,  in all the whole team must be thrown away and local street boys drafted to the national team not this rubbisssshhhhhh.

Foreign Affairs › Is The World Economy Out Of Recession Yet by olajide8(op): 7:22am On Oct 06, 2011
I am of the opinion that the world economy is swiming deeply in economic challenges and their is not cure immediately for it only time we all watched as britons went on rampage though it was tagged riots we have watched gradually the prices of oil climb while frivolous projects have been done in nigeria gulping billions we have seen how so many strategies have proffered by OBAMA administration to create jobs and put an ailing united states economy on track but speaking more passionately about nigeria we have seen great mismanaged off point policy direction and increased corruption. They have proferred different ways and means but bureaucracy and NO IMPLEMENTATION has been the order of day. People are not being productivity in these countries so we are not immune economies are spending more than what they earn especially Nigeria to pay for UN-productivity labor have also added to injury by failing to realise they are just a fraction of the society there request for an increment in wages has resulted to different ideas by government to raise funds "REMOVAL OF FUEL SUBSIDY" alternative "TAXES" and heavy borrowing affecting the larger society rather than fighting a few elected people for reduction in their allowances you would believe that 15%. Of the society has further improvished the 85% remaining as for businesses we must not lie to our selves except you are an employee you may not know that all businesses in nigeria are indepted as people borrow to do business and if a few of them are declaring profits their balance sheets should be re-assessed I no they must have been doctored we may not have realised it but sooner or later or 1m would be chasing an item of 100naira value crime is also on the increase with people stealing handsets snatch earrings and bags and loafs of bread I can give countless examples but would like to ask this question that the late sonny okosun as when things were infact much more better "WHICH WAY NIGERIA" if you belong to generation of those within the age bracket of 45-60 you guys are all failures you have failed the generation following yours you are the corrupt generation that has given birth to the lazy generation of UNPRODUCTIVITY from examples you have set I woudl leave the rest for you to ponder on my fellow nairalanders with a curse Jesus Christ spoke unto a fruit tree that did not bear fruit they would all wither away,

Platform 9.0, who watched it a programme sponsored by the covenant christian centre (Pastor poju Oyemade) they showed it on channels tv yesterday Oct 1st, because it was a quite inspiring and thought provoking they practically brought out the issues and challenges, but most importantly Louis agayat(a formal presidential aid to the formal colombian president) not to sure right now but he made mention of how the colombian president, had a one on one interaction with the citizens in town meeting every weekend, he also said he (Ex-President of colombia)would also have a mid night television show from 10pm to 7am every week or once a month, answering and trying to answer the problems raised by the citizens, we may argue that nigeria is a very big country but I do not think it would be to big for him to do the same and stop hiding behind a page he doesn't now how to open he (Ex-President of colombia)would also have a mid night television show from 10pm to 7am every week or once a month, answering and trying to answer the problems raised by the citizens, we may argue that nigeria is a very big country but I do not think it would be to big for him to do the same and stop hiding behind a page he doesn't now how to open
