As for experiences, quite a no of good ones was shared by serving corps members. Try to read frm d beginning so u can get d tips shared so far.

I so much like wia am serving presently in nasarawa state. Accommodation is affordable, 20hrs of electricity supply if am nt mistaking, all d network is present. food is cheap nd is nt dat far frm Abuja, is just 1hr. Am talking about nasarawa town. Almost all d schools av lodge expect u don't lik d lodge. the town has a fed.poly so no dull moment. self contain is between 35 to 70 depending on ur taste. To safe is easy in nasarawa town cus transportation is cheap. there r 2 banks in d town UBA nd Eco bank. Weekend u can jst stroll 2 Abuja .

Whch local govt is dat nasarawa town ?
And I hope u ain't implying dat there no other banks branches in area like lafia?

Nasarawa broadcasting service NBS. I was not given accomodation. I get my monthly alawee of 5k every month unlike some that collect every 6month (30k). Cost of living is minimum. Light okay. Rent my room 35k.

In camp, those that partake in sports and other activities, 80% are in lafia local govt the capital city. Though maraba and karu is also good but cost of living nah boss

They may and may not assign block to u when u go to collect ur bed. U can stay any block u like if the block still have space forget where u are assign to. Will advice u get to camp earlier.

Welcome to nasarawa state. Am currently serving in nasarawa, lafia local govt. Nasarawa is a nice place and one of the best camp. U will enjoy ur service here. The state pay 5k monthly alawee. And if post to private as ur ppa, they also pay well. House is cheap. Currently in lafia local govt and ppa nbs

Nassarawa state is safe. Accommodation can be very scarce around Karu and Keffi local govt so if your posted to that area your Lodge is not guaranteed but some schools still dey try she.
