Really thieves. Quoting price without any iota of shame. Imagine the amount 45 - 35 thousand. Just go the online route. Anyone that tries to discourage you just call him/her by name and warn the person to stear clear. They are always afraid when you call their name.

NIN is compulsory even though not astricks. I dont know about Ogun state but here in Enugu, almost all the UBA branches host the NIMC staff where enrollement is done daily and it is usually very fast. But I suspect that with JAMB applicants trooping on daily basis it will no longer be as fast.

Guarantor form is printed after your application and payment. Just go to the main page and click on "Guarantor form". Input your reference number and print out the 2 pages forms which bear the name of the applicant and take to your Guarantor.

There is no other code needed. Dont mind the staff.

Yes, you chose any state for your capturing. The caputring date also apears with the acknowldgement paper.

you dont go to the caputuring venue with NIN. It is not needed there only during the online application.

finally, dont allow any of the thieves to intimidate you. During the caputuring, look at the screen to note your collection date which is usually 6 days after the capturing. You may give them 10 ten days and then go and collect your passport.
Naija which way? loool.

Thanks so much bro. Your experience seem very detailed.

My experience at Passport Section of Nigeria Immigration in Enugu
Thanks to all of you that contributed to this thread. I especially thank @playcharles and @offegas for their advice. I followed @playcharles example and have gotten mine also.

This is my experience in Enugu immigration office.
After reading through @playcharles narratives, I decided to follow the online route . I started the application online in my house and when I applied for 5 years passport, only the standard e-passport of 15,000 appeared. I continued and pay a total payment of 17,800 (600 being online processing fee).
I printed out all the necessary copies of application form, guarantor form, payment receipt, acknowledgement form and saw that my interview date was 5 days ahead of the day I applied.

The next day, I went to a friend and photocopied the data page of his international passport, driving license and NIN. He signed at the necessary places which included my two passports. I also photocopied my affidavit of age paper and LG identification letter and waited for the interview day.

On that day, I drove to Enugu state high court which is close to the Federal secretariat where the immigration office is situated and paid a sum of 200 (Two hundred naira) for the Commissioner of oats endorsement, bringing my total payment to N18000.
I moved straight to immigration office and told them that I had interview with them. They asked about my “helper” I simply told them that I applied online. I was directed to one office where I submitted my file ( I bought office file and enclosed all the forms inside it).

About 10 minutes later, the lady called and asked me to take my file to “account” and that is where a drama wanted to play itself but I was ready for anything. Immediately the guy saw my file, he almost hissed and said “self payment” and asked me to stamp it. I went outside and fortunately saw one of them who was selling 50 stamp, I bought one and stamp on the payment form and went back to the office.

The guy said “okay, the self payment guy, give us N100”, I wanted to ask why but gave him the one hundred naira and my file was given to me 10 minutes later. I went back to the first office where I was asked to fill two forms which were attached to my file and sent to the interview room. I was later called for the interview. Truly, the interviewer asked some funny questions and insisted that my forms were not properly filled, I stood my ground and almost read the entire paragraph for her. She quietly submitted my file for enrolment and I eventually did my biometrics.

CONTD
Thanks so much for this.

I was at Sagamu passport office very early yesterday to make enquiry. I met a male officer (bleached with irritating skin) at the gate who prevented me from gaining access in to make my enquiry on how to go about it.

I didn't even go through this thread before I went there (I was just directed her from another thread) but I checked immigration website just to be prepared a bit.

On getting there, he asked if I am attached to a particular officer. I said no since I have none and no name.
I told him I want to make enquiry on how to go about fresh application, yet he didn't allow me go in.

He started his story of how to get it done
(collection within 3 days goes for 40k while 2-3weeks collection goes for 35k)

I asked him the standard collection time without fast tracking and he said 2months.

I told him of a friend that did hers last year with 25k. He asked for location but I refused to disclose it. I moved on to disclose what I have seen on immigration website but he counter it by saying: " are you minding govt? You don't know how their matter be? You don't know if they tell you this and that. na lie?"

I kept looking at him and eventually tried so much to persuade me to get it done for me.

I left and stood some miles away waiting to catch up with other that came for similar thing. I met another woman (appear learned) but was told that fast one is 45k while 2weeks is 40k.

But with what I am reading here now, I am happy we have people that are willing to do things right.

What I can deduce is that:

* A lot of Nigerians are thieves. They derive joy in exploiting their fellow brothers.

* A good no of people do not know they can kick start the process on their own while few that are aware are afraid of making mistake (the officer actually told me that I can miss the code that i will be given online)

My confusion now is how to go about the Guarantor form/document and what it is made up of?

Also NIN is not asterisked on the gen info page. Can the process be continued without supplying that info (for my mum as she isn't having the no)?
Can she proceed for "capturing and interview" after online application and payment without the NIN document as part of documents to go there withhuh
Note: She will be doing it outside Lagos (Ogun state to be precise)

Finally, is there provision on the website to choose one's choice of state for the capturing and interview?

Thanks

I want to register for my international passport and I read through some past tread that in order to have more opportunity during visa interview one's passport has to be stamped in Ghana for traveling experience. Now,my question is, I wish to apply for one now and I want to know how i can stamp it as an evidence of travel experience and how many page passport is better as a newbie. Also, what could be the cost of processing and duration for collection? Merry Christmas to you all.
Good morning sir/ma.

I checked immigration website and I saw 15k for 32-page passport. I went to one of the passport offices but the officer I met at the gate prevented me from entering because I couldn't provide a particular officer's name I want to see. He totally declined and prevented me from getting in make proper enquiry from the appropriate channel.

He started pouring out info and all. I suspected he wants me to come in through him.

In his words, if I want a 32-page in 1day, it will cost 40k. If I want it in 1-2weeks, it will cost 35k.

I only sensed there is someone he is hiding probably for his personal gain.

So may I know the amount you are charged (for fresh application of 32-page passport) and which of their offices you visited?

Thank you.

Don't ever think of going for HND. (You are not wasting any time by pursing University education)

Combine DE application and UTME option and use any of these that goes through (your conscience and mind won't make you feel bad at the end and you will forever be grateful if you make that decision)

Don't forget to acquire a skill too. Create time for it
RomanceRe: Good Afternoon NL by Olami90: 3:45pm On Nov 11, 2019
The first question shows how valueless/worthless most ladies of this generation are.

If you are asking how long a lady should wait in a relationship (dating) before she can start asking a guy for money (like it is your right), it shows you are there just for the cash. Nothing more.

What happens to him giving you voluntarily?
You lots are seeing relationship as a lotto or a ponzi scheme.

Better still, you can move into an orphanage home.

Answer the questions below:
Is he your father?
Is he living for you?
RomanceRe: Should I Be Suspicious Of My Girl? by Olami90:
Op, That lady doesn't worth the stress/headache you are giving yourself. She is a player.

She doesn't love as you are playing it in your head, you are dating yourself.
You have made her realise how weak you are and she will so use you till you have sense before she dump you.

Now, my advice goes thus:

Don't ever think of confronting her again for her uploads. (For you to have questioned her already revealed your insecurity and she is feeling like she is doing you favour - which is what I hate most and usually hasten my disappearance)

She doesn't have any regard for you and the relationship, so don't ever think of sitting her down to discuss anything. She knows you are weak and will use that to the end to her own advantage.

Do not be afraid to move on. Give yourself some respect and move to where you will be appreciated.
There are many ladies out there (that isn't to tell you they are good but be prepared to continue to check and move until you find a moderately reasonable one that appears to know what a thriving relationship entails).

A good no of them are senseless and terrible leech. They only appear to be loyal to you when there is monetary gain/gift/benefits involved.

Another time they appear caring and loyal is when they crave so bad to settle down after wasting several meaningful years of their life (that is the reason I do not have an atom of pity/concern for a lot of them when they lament).

You will only find it difficult to do away with ladies like her if you are young and haven't seen life that much but sincerely, the stress doesn't worth it. Total waste of time
RomanceRe: . by Olami90: 10:58pm On Oct 12, 2019
It takes me days or week too to recover when I am annoyed and another not too good thing about it is that I do not find it easy to talk about my annoyance.

My lady usually get the message once I give her the silent treatment, makes sincere apology and we are cool.

What I have discovered is that there is no one that is perfect and no two individuals are the same. We are bound to offend one another - no one is a perfect being.

Do not think of hurting her severely as you stated, just know her weakness (what pains her the most) and strike from that angle.

She is your wife, you should not be tired of coaching or grooming her.
I am happy you said "she is the best available of her age and exposure"

Erase the idea of divorce if she listens to you when you correct and your life isn't in danger being with her, you won't get a woman that is perfect out there.

The post UTME is 40 questions to be answered in 40 minutes.
Any consideration for those that choose as second choice?

It's transparent to some extent just like any federal Versity in Nigeria. I got medicine there this 2018/2019 session.
If you're not from south south or ELDS states, make sure to reach the cut off mark.
Once you reach the cut off mark, you will be admitted. Their tuition fee is cheap as well but cost of living is relatively high in Calabar.
Much thanks to you.
Going by the last admission, what is the cut off mark for Medicine (for those not from south south and ELDS) and is it based on post utme exam only? In short may i ask for the breakdown?

Also, can i have idea of tuition fee for newly admitted?
