Mate, this coach is quite numb. It is so glaring to see why the girls wont score. They dont know what to do with the ball in the final 3rd. I dont blame them because at that age, they need firm instructions.
Ajibade cant do all. Shes played as attacking midfielder, winger and main striker, but everytime, she is isolated.

If Nigeria make 2 passes and the third will lead to a goal, then we will not score. I havent seen this team string 3 passes together all tournament. It is that bad.

So I have a bit of free time. Lets see how we can qualify.
1. We MUST beat Korea. Puts us on 4 points, same as Korea. So if it comes to that, Korea may qualify because they have scored more goals, and we would have scored less. BUT if we beat Korea by more than 2 goals margin, then we will qualify, no matter the outcome of the match between England and Brazil.
2. If Brazil beats England, and Nigeria beats Korea by more than 2 goals, then Brazil tops group and Nigeria 2nd.
3. If England beats Brazil, and Nigeria beats Korea by more than 2 goals, then England tops group and Nigeria 2nd.
4. If England and Brazil draw, and Nigeria beats Korea by more than 2 goals, then Nigeria tops the group and Korea 2nd (so far the draw is not up to 3-3).

So it is very simple for the flamingoes. Just beat Korea by 2 goals or more and you will be going to quarter finals. Korea will be very open, so we will have plenty chances, and they will create chances too.

Today we go again. England vs Nigeria.
I expect the game to be physical, so it comes down to the officiating. I watched Cameroon vs Venezuela yesterday and the ref was unkind to the Cameroonians. I expect us to get the same treatment today and we may be out of the tournament before 4pm today.
Whichever way it goes, its been a good exposure for the gals. FIFA is not Africa friendly when it comes to women competition. Its like a cult.

It was especially difficult to play in the second half. The Brazilians were buoyed by the ref and went full on with theatrics. Even very clean tackles earned our girls yellow card, depending on how loud the Brazilians shouted.
I think the England game should be better because surely someone in FIFA will notice this. Also, European female refs seem to be racists whenever they are officiating against African teams. This is not the first time.

Game over. Not a bad game by Nigeria, but the brilliant play by Nigeria was always quenched by the ref. There seems to be a different set of rules when African teams play at these women world cups.

As expected with an European ref, we get the other sides with the 50-50. Good game so far, and I expect Nigerians to settle donw in second half. Brazil are playing to ref's sympathy everytime. They may win this match unless Nigeria create clear cut chances.

Don't be so sure, we continually played against local sides and had no grade A top friendly. But still my hope is that we don't just get to the semis but win this cup.

At U17 level, it is a bit easier to predict. The girls are quite raw and you will that matches are mostly determined by the most technical sides.
Also, I think for the first time in a long time, we are going to an U17 tournament with a very good goalie.
If we can avoid tactically enriched teams like Germany, France or Spain, then we can go very very far indeed.

Have the team left Nigeria yet? I just hope Panicky Pinnick's NFF wont put these young girls through HELL like they did for the olympics team. These are U17 girls, and they may be travelling so far for the first time in their lives. NFF needs to make things easy for them.

New Era Detroit stages a protest that turned into a brawl, caught on camera.

This is the same church that recently hosted Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump. But this protest is about more than politics.

New Era Detroit is calling it church accountability - taking congregations to task for not serving the community as churches should. They say something doesn't add up when a pastor makes a lot of money, drives a luxury car and the people who live near the church are in poverty.

A scuffle inside the sanctuary after New Era Detroit protests during a worship service. Zeek the leader of group, offered no apologies for the dustup at Great Faith Ministries Saturday -- only the reasoning behind it.

"The situation is bigger than just Wayne T. Jackson," Zeek said. "This is about black churches and black pastors who live a lavish life on behalf of the people and they are not giving back to their community."

He's referring to Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, the wealthy pastor that welcomed Donald Trump, drives a Rolls Royce and lives in a mansion.

Zeek was there for the offering Saturday.

"They started the offering at a thousand dollars," he said. "And then they said if you don't have $1,000 then do $300. If you don't have cash, then we got ATM machines.

"I don't understand that logic. I don't understand that way of thinking and I don't understand that, to be what religion is."


New Era Detroit says the neighborhood surrounding great faith ministries is by and large impoverished.

"This guy has networks, churches, fancy cars, million dollar houses," Zeek said. "And there's babies in this community that doesn't have food at night. Somebody has to be frustrated about this enough to do something that will get people's attention and that's what New Era Detroit did."

"When he found out I didn't have anywhere to live, within an hour he was calling me and telling me to go look at an apartment," said Kinney. "And because of that, and the love of him and his wife, I now have my own place."

"He should talk to people that he hired, ex-cons people that been in prison," said another church member. "He has done so much for this community. There are homes he has bought and given to people. But Zeek doesn't know that."

Many feel New Era Detroit crossed the line and violated a sacred space. They even drew comparisons to Dylan Roof - the man who walked into a church service and gunned down nine people in Charleston, South Carolina.

"They can't come in here and think they're going to take over our service, we have our women and children, mothers up in here terrified," said Pastor Brent. "And they say they're out there protecting the community, this is a community up in here."

FOX 2: "Would you do it all over again?"

"Absolutely," Zeek said. "We would definitely do it all over again. Would we tweak something? Absolutely. Going back, we would definitely go back again and they better get they act together because we just might be back."

The leader of New Era Detroit says he is open to having a sit down with Bishop Jackson and the pastors of other churches that his organization has protested.
