SportsRe: Mary Ologbosere Hospitalised As NFF Fails To Pay Off Team by olapluto(m): 11:54am On Nov 25, 2016
Everyone blaming Buhari's government for this are ill-informed. NFF is not under Nigerian government. In fact, last month, NFF received 100 million from the government for U20 and Super eagles matches. The questions should be asked of what NFF did with that money and the sponsorship monies.

I blame supersports for removing the camera from Oshoala after she got fouled and refusing to show the replay. They should have shown the penalty appeal and let the viewer decide. It seems nobody wants the falcons to win. It is us against the world, or in this case us against Africa.
With fair officiating, NO TEAM in that AWCON can beat the super falcons. However, it seems there is a consensus amongst other Africans to deny Nigeria the cup by all means.

Nigeria vs Egypt or Nigeria vs South Africa. I prefer Nigeria vs South Africa.

After the dust has settled, I think the girls did quite OK yesterday. We might have expected a stronger performance, but we were in control and should have won yesterday. It is also good that this came in the group stage. Ghana parked the bus but our attack still penetrated them a few times.
Against Kenya, I expect to see our 2nd team. Let the likes of Ebere, Okobi, Oparanozie, Iroka, and maybe even the substitute keeper. We have already qualified for semi final anyway, except Kenya beat us by 4-0.

Our coach was standing on the by line yet she couldn't see anything for a very long time. wogu, chikwelu, ikidi & igbinovia were poor & slow thruout. They kept the team under pressure throughout the game misplacing passes. i wonder why she prefers ikidi to ebere as a LB because ebere is far better class than her. This has always being the bane of our local coaches- selection and tactics. The girls were slow & only interested in long balls to the strikers. They need to hold the ball & pass not loading it.
Ikidi and Ebere dont play the same position.

We will lose the final to a referee decision. Mark it down!

PoliticsRe: Army Declares 46 Soldiers Missing - Premium Times by olapluto(m): 10:49am On Nov 23, 2016
The responses so far are really depressing. Childishly and stupidly putting down the only army you have is akin to supporting Boko Haram.

RIP to the soldiers. You sacrificed yourselves for Nigeria and Nigerians should respect them for that. The idiots blaming the army here cannot even hold cutlass on patrol for a night.

The best Ghanaian player was an unused sub at Rivers Angel. They cannot trouble Nigeria. Minimum 4-0.

Rita chikuwelu played Okobi Position and she was very good today.. Rita is a midfield maestro, see those distributions and blocks from Rita smiley is Ngozi better than her?
Nope. Halimatu Ayinde played Okobi's position, and I believe she will make way for Okobi in the next match.

Today, Ngozi Okobi and Desire Oparanozie did not play! Imagine what could have happened if they played.

Faith Ikidi is playing superb. Tiki Taka by the Falcons, so far, no goals. About 3 attempts on Goal by Nigeria.

We crashed out because the coach was not fast thinking against Japan. If we lost 2-0, we would have qualified for quarter finals. When things were starting to fall apart, the coach could have just done something.
I think the coach is still the best underage female football coach we have though. he brought out the best in the girls, even after the setback.

Ajibade will lead us to the next U20 world cup, and I expect that we will have a better team by then.
SportsRe: African Women’s Cup Of Nations: Nigeria Vs Mali 6 - 0 (Full Time) by olapluto(m): 3:39pm On Nov 20, 2016
Shame on CAF that they have not allowed Bein sports to televise the tournament. That would have been a sure link. The only link I have has low bandwidth and will probably crash. I will past it here at kick off.

Cameroonians wish Nigeria lost and not make it out of the group. We are the only team that can threaten them.

Oparanozie benched, maybe injury. I have a working stream, but can only be confirmed when it is 10 minutes to kick off.

Female football at world stage is like a cult of white ladies. They seem to have different set of rules when they play African teams. The ref is emboldened to dish out cards and fouls. Spain had THIRTY free kicks against Nigeria today. That is like a free kick every 3 minutes. One day soon, the refs will overshoot their boundary and expose themselves to the world.
SportsRe: Falconets/Flamingoes Thread: 2018 FIFA U-20/U-17 Women's World Cup. by olapluto(m): 2:07pm On Nov 18, 2016
Change title of thread to reflect super falcons on another AFCON glory run. This team is too powerful for Africa. Ngozi Ebere, Faith Ikidi is back. The front 3 of Oparanozie, Oshoala and Ordega will be too much for any team.
I heard Coach Rohr will be helping out in Cameroon too.
Christianity EtcRe: Are Jews Going To Heaven Or Hell? by olapluto(m): 10:36am On Nov 18, 2016
Questions like this always expose modern day Christians to be real hypocrites. So far on this thread, there's been no tangible answers, or even attempts at scriptural honesty about the Jews.
Unfortunately, Christianity of nowadays is a depressingly deceitful matter. In the USA, the 'evangelicals' had no problem calling Obama, a Christian, the antichrist. 3 weeks ago, these same 'evangelicals' endorsed Donald Trump, who never professed christianity as the messiah, and voted en masse for him. To me, christianity allows anything and everything, as long as there is momentary gains, even as far as racism, tribalism, sexism and even xenophobia. It is no wonder that the evolution of Europeans has seen them shed off their Christian past. A house built on lies cannot stand.

Spain has plus 6 and we have minus 4. The only way to qualify is to win and hope Japan get held or win by 11 goals.
If we beat Spain by 5-0, then we both have same goal difference, and we qualify on head to head.

I don't even see them playing a draw with Canada.
If we beat Spain 5-0, then we qualify. Anything less than that, then we rely on Canada to hold or beat Japan.

As long as these attacks are not targeted assassinations by BHT, then its not much to fear. However, if BHT are specifically targeting effective war front commanders, then Buratai has to purge his army else BHT may enter an entirely unheralded phase of the war.
