Since the sex video failed to quench IPOB struggle, how sure are we that the FG did not murder this man in order to give IPOB a bad name and then use it to stop the Biafran struggle.
Don't twist it,this was an internal struggle for share of the scam.because you are emotionally attached you are trying to blame to the government.nobody cares about your fake struggle.

Any politician trying to ban fossil fuel in Nigeria is out of touch with reality.

This is because he would be worth millions in dollars. WIth the way my income is now, i doubt i would ever earn that during my lifetime.

Hope this answers your question

Ekweremadu is right and Ben Bruce is not attuned to Nigeria's reality.
High-income countries are the ones legislating against fossil fuel.
They can afford to go without it.
Bruce bill is capable of disintegrating Nigeria.
it was a bad decision because we need to accelerate and move into the future.
Politics › As Oil Producers,we Should Frustrate Sale Of Electric Cars In Nigeria Ekweremadu by olas24u(op): 5:35pm On Apr 17, 2019
Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has said that, as an oil producing country, sale of electric cars in Nigeria should be frustrated.

“This will enable us to sell our oil,” Ekweremadu argued.

Ekweremadu spoke at the Plenary on Wednesday as the senators debated a bill sponsored by Senator Ben Murray-Bruce (PDP Bayelsa East ).

The News Agency of Nigeria reported that Murray-Bruce had sponsored a bill for an Act to phase out petrol vehicles by 2035 and introduce electric cars.

In his argument, the senator had argued that electric cars are healthy, economical and would not deplete the ozone layer.

“In no distant time, combustible vehicles would be phased out; and the earlier Nigeria buys into the change, the better.

“I own an electric car that I have been using for the past five years. It is cheaper to maintain and durable,” the senator added.

The bill ignited debates in the hallowed chamber, as each senator aired reasons for the rejection of the bill.

In his submission, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu commended Murray-Bruce for his “uncommon common sense and brilliant ideas,” but noted that the ancillary to Section 41 of the 1999 Constitution grants Nigerians freedom of movement; and that there is no need to introduce a law to mandate the use of electric cars.

Continuing, Ekweremadu said, “Besides, in economic sense, we are an oil producing country. So, we should do everything possible to frustrate the sale of electric cars in Nigeria to enable us to sell our oil.”

Senator Barau Jibrin (APC-Kano) said while electric vehicles no doubt would be more friendly to the environment and health, making its use mandatory was not feasible.

“We have to look at individual networth. Not all Nigerians can afford the vehicles at a given time.

“We all know the importance of vehicles in our daily activities. So, banning use of fuel cars will cause hardship, particularly for those who may not be able to acquire electric cars.

Murray-Bruce withdrew the bill ultimately.

when you want to act like you are fighting for the masses, you do it consistently without being partisan.

is obasanjo a good president? is jonathan a good president? both are southerners and christians. even in the face of boko haram destruction and extreme hardship, our aunty omotola disappeared and no where to be found. only to resurface whenever northern muslim presidents are ruling.

A true activist will never appear partisan or show a bigot tendencies. they fight for the masses no matter who is in government.

not all these useless yeyebrities like charlieboy abi na charliekid that donot pay tax but suddenly become activist so they can get paid from politics.

this is why i still prefer to listen to edris abdulkareem. he criticized obasanjo as much as he criticized buhari. no hard feeling.

A consumption tax is a tax levied on consumption spending on goods and services. The tax base of such a tax is the money spent on consumption. Consumption taxes are usually indirect, such as a sales tax or a value-added tax.
Do you understand consumption tax, every Nigerian pays taxes
