ODILIBE, Have always said this on this forum that Daarsat has nothing to offer with all this 3rd class channels they are parading. let me tell you this they understimated the Nigerian public thinking they can just come up with something and use thier media hype to push it. they felt using the catch HDTV would make Nigerians to wake up one morning throw away there setup boxes for the so call HD nonesense package. pls lets continue to discover new grounds. Peace!

Nileusers, the drop in signal quality which most of us are already very familiar with. My advice for now do not adjust or tamper with your dish just be patient it will normalize itself.

GEORGE D, It's  unbelievable  that we in Nigeria don't have access to our local tv stations on a satellite that could be gotten with a 90cm dish.  This local stations are funny o! do they think any body in his or her right senses would buy a120cm or 2.4 dish just to watch them. they must be joking. Most of them with exception to a few have nothing to offer, eg  AIT AND SILVERBIRD. Whoever gave them the advice did not do there  homework well. Why beam to EUROPE and neglect you home. Even this so called European countries they claim to  beam to, What have they gained from it?. If they like let them go to the moon as far as I still have my Nile, Sirius, P7\ 10, w3a I don't give a damm.

I called Oga Badaru who also confirm a significant reduction in signal quality. Pls guys outside Lagos should pls confirm if this is a general problem. Meanwhile wats up with Eutelsat W6 any new developments? Obnely have not been able to get across to Olofofo concerning weather ART is down on Echolink.

All, on the issue of this naugthy birds that is W3a and Sirius 4, W6, Nss7, If you check my previous post I gave advise on how to go about it. The signal on this birds are very unreliable.ie a particular frequency that is usually used in tracking for example free2view frequency can just disappare without notice, If you want to track it pls do the following diligently. get yourself a full 90cm dish with a strong LNB.Once you are set to track pick your phone and call someone that is currently tune to any of this birds and ask for the active frequency so that you dont end up wasting your time in using a non active frequency. If you do this I bet U will be glad you did.
