Can anyone please confirm if Walk-in is same as Flexible appointment? For standard visit visa, is it possible to go some days before appointment date for biometrics at Ikeja? Thank you |

"Where available, Priority and Super Priority Visas will be displayed when you book your appointment. Where appointments are showing as unavailable this means that the weekly number of appointments has been taken. Further Priority Visa appointments will be released once a week. All new Priority Visa appointments will be released at the same time each week." The statement above was culled from the UK Visa website. Please who has an idea of the day of the week new Priority visa appointments are usually released? |

Visa Alert 6-months Visit approved. Biometrics: May 26, 2022 Ikeja Passport ready for collection: July 22, 2022 Passport delivered via courier: July 25, 2022 Mum is a first-time traveller to attend graduation ceremony of her son for July 15, 2022. Her visa is valid from July 18, 2022 - so, it was still approved after her planned date of visit had passed. Also, during the application - we observed that her bank account statement was a “mess” with explanation of many deposits highly unexplainable cause she uses it for business, trading etc. We then opted against uploading her bank account statement at all - with 2 of her children serving as sponsors. Some of the documents uploaded include; Return flight tickets Tenancy agreement in UK for her son in the UK Cover statement Letter of Invitation from school for graduation Bank statements, proofs of employment (Payslips, letter of introduction from employer) from one of the sponsors. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Hi Everyone, I’d like to ask, is it possible to request for an extension of an “unused” visa? For context, we were issued 6-months Visit visa to attend the graduation ceremony of my younger sibling - but the event was later cancelled due to COVID-19 Delta variant earlier in the year. The event has now been rescheduled to 2 weeks after our visas were to expire. What would you advise? Re-apply again |

You can use this form on the TLS website to reach out to them about the need to pay for Courier services. Just fill all the required information and you’ll get an email response from the team, say 1 or 2 days after with the TLS account number to pay into and accompanying instructions. https://pos.tlscontact.com/los_en/contact-form?type=services royalmu: 1 Like |

Hi Everyone, I did my biometrics on Dec 2nd at Ikeja with my wife. I just got a mail from TLS that my passport is ready for collection, though I paid for courier days after the biometric. How do I know if the visa application was approved? Or would I have to wait till receiving the passport to ascertain that? |

Good day all, For someone who has already completed a self-funded M.Sc in a highly ranked institution in Nigeria but not ready to go for a PhD yet, apply for another PTDF M.Sc (different course)and include the previous study in his SOP and application? Hope it is not counterproductive! An urgent response will be highly appreciated. Thank you. |

I'll advise you go for CoE UNIBEN instead of the CPG UNIPORT as it is more recognized in the industry. Moreso, I heard the application is still on. McSterling: |

For this year's admission; IPS UNIPORT has already conducted screening and successful candidates have been shortlisted. IPS UNIPORT is the best and most competitive but if you can't wait for next year, try applying to COE UNIBEN, AUST Abuja, CPG UNIPORT, CGRP UNIPORT, OTI UNIPORT. They also offer good programmes too! Honestly, all these scholarships sponsored by Nigerian government agencies like PTDF, NLNG and the likes should be more responsible and accountable by pre-informing applicants the likely date for results like the foreign bodies do. This will save applicants from the stress, worries we face. The problem most times is that they don't think of a way to improve the system... 3 Likes |

I had my interview today. I think this is probably my most relaxing/entertaining interview I have done so far(just 3 in total though). My background is core engineering and my past experiences have been with engineering firms save NYSC. So, I wasn't so optimistic about this stage as I thought I may not fit in. The normal first question came as expected, please introduce yourself. I was so tensed as I was just about pouring out all I had memorized but they brilliantly interrupted me, telling me that what they want is a conversation and that just eased off the whole tension. I spoke about myself extensively trying to always fit myself into those values listed on their website. My NYSC experience really helped out as I did show leadership, energy, enthusiasm, team-player, integrity and those other stuff listed. I was then asked a question that almost took me off balance. What will you do if in a month time you started working with EY, a major IOC offers you employment? I was able to maneuver my way through as I had to tell them that most IOCs are not really recruiting just degree holders as they most times request for experience which EY is a good platform for me as I have an eye for top-level management position later in my career. Other questions include; Considering Nigeria's present economic situation, give us two (2) policies each of this present administration that are good to be encouraged and that which is not and how will I improve of them. Luckily for me, I had prepared to attend a bank interview last weekend so I just used the little knowledge I had gained about TSA and FG borrowing plan. What are EY core values? The last experience on your CV shows NYSC, what have you been doing ever since you passed out till now? Which specific area will you like to function? Don't worry too much about this if you are like me that is new to all of the areas, as it was stated that the trainings will equip in whatsoever function you fit in. I had a funny response to this question; "To be frank and plain, I didn't know much about this company till I was sent an invite for interview (I applied myself and wrote test too), as I just had to research the company and I was intrigued by what I found out about this company. It is stated that the company encourages inclusiveness and I'll always get my fit in here, so I came". What are your hobbies? I mentioned sports (football), one of them jokingly said I look like a footballer, then we all laughed. I also mentioned books. Then I was told to talk about the current book I am reading and any other one. Funny enough, the book I'm currently reading is a spiritual book about making it to heaven and one of the interviewer asked if I think I will make it to Heaven. I said YES! In total, it was about 30-40mins and a very lively one. I hope for the best. I know this is long and may have revealed a lot but I had to do this long post as I have always benefited greatly from this platform too in my job search. Gracias. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

I was rescheduled for first interview to be taken this coming Saturday by 8:30am in VI, Lagos but I also have a 'more important' test to take that same day in another part of Lagos (Anthony Area) by 12:00pm. Please, someone who has had the first interview in VI, Lagos intimate me if I can still meet up with my other test scheduled for 12pm. Thanks, as I am contemplating shelving this Fidelity interview. |

The temporary lock is for about 48 hours. Let the person wait for 48hours before trying to login again, then he clicks on forgotten password after the 48hours. A link will be sent to the email address which will help him recover his account by entering the answer to the security question he used while applying. I hope this helps noceedy4real: |

From the look of things, applications are being accessed by; 1. Personality test 2. Cognitive test 3. Video interview 4. CV Probably in that order for this year's application. So, the longer one gets a reply, it probably shows one got successful in some of the sections. Let's keep our fingers crossed still and see as I am sure at least one person here will testify to passing this stage!!! Remember, Shell is an Equal Opportunities Employer Habdulmalik: 4 Likes |
