oga sir...my brother Have 283 in UTME, and got maths b2, eng b3, government A1, economics C4, lit in eng C6 and civic education A1 in WAEC...pls what are the chances of of him getting law on merit in U.I and which subjects out of the 6 I posted will be used to calculate..thanks

He should use English, maths,govt,literature (where is his CRS or IRS?)
may be,he should use economics.
His aggregate is 67.0.
last year cutoff was 64.95.
so there is hope for all of us sha

schools don't normally tamper with their merit lists.
ones tribe not withstanding when it comes to giving admission on merit list..
I cannot say that to any other lists that follow merit list sha.

student's weighed score is stated thus:


A1=10.

B2=9.

B3=8.

C4=7.

C5=6.

C6=5.

Add up ur olevel scores together using above method.
total would be 50.

Divide ur jamb score together by 8.
total would be 50.

Now add ur waec and jamb scores together and u will arrive at ur aggregate score..

Unilag used 50:50 ratio last year and going by the look of things,they may still use it this year.

using last year model, ur aggregate surpasses last year cutoff with 4 marks.
with all sincerity, I don't think unilag cutoff for law this year would be above 74.

I remember my first year in school too, first semester result came out and my CGPA was 3.86, I was devastated. My dream of making a 1st class looks like.. ... . well, it's going to end up being just a dream. I doubled my reading in the second semester and result improved - 4.03 CGPA. Wow!

Fast forward to the end of 400 level, I eventually graduated with flying colours. I still till today curse the day I met Amaka with that her big boobs on campus, she was the reason I eventually graduated with a 3rd class.

going by the results u presented, ur aggregate is 64.625.

last year cutoff for industrial and production engineering was 58.33.

since time immemorial, its cutoff mark has always pegged at 50+.
with all sincerity, I don't see its cutoff going above 60 this year..
