You will never succeed in Network Marketing if all you do is sign up distributor after distributor. *You could sign up 30 new distributors in a month, but if those new people don't get started right in this profession, you'll lose almost all of them after a month or two.*

Get your distributors started right. Only then will your retention rates go up, and *you'll see some real and consistent growth in your business.*

So, here are five steps to get your new distributors started off right.

*Step 1: Validation*

Validate their decision to join Network Marketing. This may seem like an obvious step, but it's amazing how many people just gloss over it. You don't have to spend a long time on this step. But *take a moment to congratulate your new distributor for joining and say something about how they have now taken control of their life.* Reassure them that they have made the right decision.

By doing this, you'll ease any lasting doubts your new distributors might have and *make them feel good about their decision.*

*Step 2: Set Their Expectations*

Unrealistic expectations are one of the biggest reasons why new distributors drop out. They come in with this idea of what Network Marketing will be like, and when that doesn't happen, they bail. So, your job is to make sure they know what to expect.

In addition to the usual sentiments that this profession is not easy and is not a get-rich-quick scheme, there are a few other things you should tell your new distributors.

*Tell them that their success or failure is all up to them. You are not there to make sure they succeed. You are there to help guide them and work with them, not for them. They are in charge of their own success. If they fail, they were the ones who created the failure. If they succeed, they created their own success.*

Second, your job is to *help your new distributors become independent* of you as quickly as possible. If your distributors completely rely on you to tell them what to do or how to do things, then they will never be able to build a business on their own. And you'll be dragged down by them as well. When your distributors are completely dependent on you, you become their slave, not their teacher. So, make sure they know that eventually they will have to work independently.

Third, let your distributors know that *there will be good and bad times, and sometimes they may feel like giving up.* Make sure they know that you will be there for them if they want, and you can help guide them through the tough times.

*Step 3: Make Sure They're Prepared*

Go through a checklist with your distributors to make sure they have everything they need to get started and succeed. Some examples are:

Make sure they have an appropriate understanding of our services... *Words my own*. Get your distributors on the path to become raving fans of the services, and make sure they have samples for demonstrations.

*Give your new distributors the appropriate tools. Third-party tools can help one build a large and successful business. So, make sure your distributors have the proper tools to help them through the exposure process with new prospects*.

Make sure your new distributors get connected. Show them *how to find things on the company website, where upcoming events are, when leadership calls are conducted, etc.*

*Explain the compensation plan so that your distributors have at least a basic understanding of it.* They don't need all the details, but they should be able to know what will happen financially as they move through the first few levels.

*Teach them how to properly invite their prospects to hear more about what they have to offer. Your distributors will have a better time getting started if they at least know how the professional invitation process works.*

*Step 4: Create a Game Plan Together*

Sit down with your new distributor and hash out a plan for how they will get through the first few ranks and then challenge them to do it quickly. You don't have to figure out how they will reach their ultimate goals. Just figure out how they can get through those first hurdles and meet smaller goals. Think about how they will get their first customer and distributor. Encourage them to attend their first company event. And figure out the steps they will need to take to earn that first commission check.

*If your new distributors can get results quickly, then they'll be more likely to continue. A game plan will help them get that quick start.*

*Step 5: Give them an Assignment*

New distributors crave direction, so give them a simple assignment to start off with. Make sure you give them a deadline, too. This assignment will get them to start working on their game plan and also help them get over the line.

*When someone gets started, there is always a line between success and failure. On one side of the line, it's easier to quit than to continue. On the other side of the line, it's easier to continue than to quit*.

So, give them an assignment that will help them get over the line towards success. This can be something like getting their first customer or distributor or even proclaiming their intentions to the world

Late 2018, I met an undergraduate lady of 23 years old using an iphone and having this expensive appearance, I questioned her on how she makes her money, she replied, her mum's companion sells expensive jewelries at minimum of 25k, but she sells for her on the internet with an additional profit, claiming she has over thousands of custermers on her mobile phone and sells at least 2 expensive jewelries per day.

"The willingness, ability and readiness of any business or sales is to be PRO-active instead of RE-active" - You can't just reestablish a business others are doing and keep doing it the way they do, instead you should go far and beyond in your business so as not to make the same amount of money as they do.

I met another guy who is about 27 years earlier this year, he is into buying and selling of cars, he said he started 2014 by taking pictures of cars packaged on the street and he sells them online, now he has two cars packed in his house and a motor port of his own for his business.

Don’t go finish 2019 thinking that every business opportunity online is a scam or every stranger on Facebook can never do you any good. Don’t just say “I’m not interested”

I wouldn’t blame them though, in my experience I can tell that there are so many scam schemes online and everyone is on guard not to lose money. Especially Cryptocurrency scams.

Let me help you out based on my experience online; how to avoid being scammed and how to differentiate real opportunities from sham ones.

Follow my flow

1. Scammers are not thorough.

They quickly want to get as much as they can get from you and move onto the next victim. So they send shabby details about their spurious business and it usually has a lot of holes you can question to blow the cover of the business.


2. Scammers are not professional marketers.

They lack finesse and usually make errors out of haze to quickly dupe and get rid of their victims. They do not have a wholistic knowledge about the industry they are trying to scam you in. Ask them an industry related question based on the new scheme they are trying to sell to you and they will fall like a pack of cards.


3. Don’t be greedy.

A scammer will leverage to your greed. The offer is usually too good to be true but if you are also greedy in nature, then you are prone to fall easily. The belief that one does not need to work hard for money is usually a weakness that comes into play here. Don’t be greedy.

4. Probe well into the business.

Ask your savvy friends what they think about this new business opportunity that is about to be sold to you. Tell them everything before you commit to the business and don’t hold any information back.

There is a feeling to want to surprise all your friends when it works out but this is not a good feeling. There is also a quest to not want your friends to discourage you in this great opportunity that seems too good, this is also a bad thought or feeling. Speak with a lot of people and objectively analyze their opinion without bias.

5. They don’t work as a large team. They work in cells for a big cartel but scammers don’t come as a group to scam one person. It’s not cost effective for them. They would rather deal one to many victims. One scammer, many victims and not many scammers to one victim. Get it?

6. They are complete strangers.

You check to see if you have any common friends with them on social media and you won’t find any. You are lucky if you find someone you know that is linked to the stranger offering you a new business opportunity. Finding a common friend with a complete stranger will make your investigation about a new business opportunity more effective and lot easier.


7. Usually too good to be true.

The offer and profit they put forward are usually too good to be true. They may cloak the profit to be something less in value to justify why it is too good to be true. Example, invest $200 to get $2,000 Bitcoin or invest #10,000 to get #20,000 in few hours. Don’t fall for it.

8. They suck at follow up which to you may seem as if they are not desperate so you start feeling you may miss the business. This is a psychological trick, don’t fall for it.

9. Don’t be lazy.

Genuine businesses are usually too hard to be true, they are slow and they take time to grow and usually involves a lot of adverts and involvement of many clients or prospects or customers to make sales and drive profit. If you are the lazy type, you will be easily seduced from the reality of hard genuine businesses to the net of of real scams and thereby lose money or other tangible assets.

10. No promo.

Like I said earlier, (2) they are not professional marketers. They miss out vital aspects of marketing such as promos and do not offer any tangible gift to facilitate their marketing drive. They are not sure you will eventually fall for the scam so why invest in you?

11. Merciless.

This i can tell you. They are merciless. Even if you beg them it’s your last money on earth, they will tell you not to worry and that you are in safe hands. They simply do not send to put this in the Nigerian context or parlance.

12. Be vigilant.

1. Free Time:- I love having enough free time to spend with my family and friends. I do not like the idea of waking up every morning and rushing for work like i see a lot other people do. I consider it a kind of slavery to money when i see how hard people have to work just to get ahead. The truly wealthy people did not get rich because of hard work. It is their ability to create and own assets that make people wealthy. Working hard physically will rob you of the time to do the most important things...things like thinking, learning, and discovering new life-changing opportunities.


2. Easy to start, Easy to run:- My business cost me only 2,000naira, 8250naira, 36k, 72k, 120k, 240k, 480k to start. I didn't need to register a new company with CAC, I didn't have to rent an office (an home-based business is run from home), and i don't have to worry about bookkeeping and other stuff involved in running a traditional business. Everything has been designed and automated by the parent company i am affiliated to. Its so easy that i didn't need college degrees to qualify for it...even a total dumb can do it easily.


3. It's Educating:- Many people go to school to acquire skills that makes them good employees working for the government and the rich. Financial freedom is a stage in life where you don't have to work for money any longer, for the rest of your life, yet you earn enough money to live the standard of life you desire. It is a stage where you can spend without thinking. It is when you are certain your children wouldn't have to work for money even after you die, because you left behind a steady stream of passive income for them to inherit, rather than a pile of debts like most parents do.

WHY YOU SHOULDNT JOIN A NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS

Some people say network marketing isn't for them due to some number of reasons, but mainly due to their inability to talk to people.

Now here are a number of reasons why i think you shouldn't join a network marketing company

� Don't join if you don't need the ADDITIONAL INCOME. If you're satisfied with your earnings from your regular job or your business. Stick with it.

�Don't join if you don't have the DRIVE or DESIRE. At one point or the other we need others to motivate and inspire us and therefore need to surround ourselves with purpose-driven like minded individuals. If you can't, bypass it

�Don't join if you don't need the LEVERAGE. The use of the Internet and social media platforms to reach more people is WOW. Not only for network marketing but it can also be incorporated into your other business or jobs. But if you don't need that kind of leverage, it's cool.

�Don't join if you don't need the FREEDOM. By this i mean the ability to go about your business which ever time you choose, it could be all day, all night or at a specific time you deem fit. It's not restricted to a particular time. People are everywhere, online and offline. It depends on your definition of freedom though.

�Don't join if you don't want to build RELATIONSHIPS. How can you build a good relationship with other people if you don't talk to them? How do you expect people to know what you do if you don't tell them? How do you expect to convince someone if you don't believe it yourself? If you run a one man show then keep to yourself.

�Don't join if you don't need the NETWORK. It's a common saying that your network determines your net worth. Most especially having a network of trusted personnel in different fields of expertise. You only have to make a call when you require a particular service. You don't have to look far and wide. But if you feel asking google for where to buy sharwama is okay for you, then don't bother about the network of people you can build around you.

There are lots of other reasons why you feel you shouldn't join a network marketing business, I've only described some that i feel is important to someone who has doubt out there.
