Ameboperoo: if u r talking about dual lnb. The purpose is not 2 track 2 satellites but to use 1 dish/lnb 4 multiple receivers. Eg, u can use d same dish with ur neighbor but on d same satellite.

platorepublic: My etv hyde park on Astra 4a @ 4 is not coming up at all the highest signal strenght i get is 58% with this Frequency 12015 v 29950 i am using 65cm dish

olenyi: Take ur tv outside with ur decoder. Power it on. Now go to rdv and press the info button twice. Note the signal strienght. Now with ur eyes on the percentage, try pushing ur dish,first up, down, left, right, noting if theres a place where the percentage will go up a bit. Now use a screw driver and loosen the lnb holder just a bit and try rotating it, first clockwise, den anti clockwise. The place where u get the highest percentage, leave it dia and tighten it back. Den if u noticed a slight increase in the signal while u were pushing the dish, loosen the dish A BIT, and adjust to bring up the signal. Finally tighten everything back. (Now that is what is known as tweaking).

For the past few months, I have been studying the importation biz, and i have gained a lot of knowledge. My laptop recently arrived from China, and i am going to reveal to you EXACTLY how i went about it.

This info is what some people are selling for cash...but i am going to reveal it to you FREE OF CHARGE!!!...So here we go:


I simply went to www.aliexpress.com to look for a product. There are numerous products there...all you have to do is take your time and select. I eventually settled for this one:

So i just clicked on the BUY NOW button and kept following the instructions. DHL is usually more expensive than china air mail, but i chose DHL all the same, because it's faster.
Then comes the time to make payment. This is where many Nigerians have problems. But it's very simple...all you need is a naira mastercard from a reputable bank like GTB or First bank.....or if you need things done faster, i would suggest you go to Zenith bank and apply for one of these 2

-Zenith bank Websurfer card
-Zenith bank naira mastercard

These 2 will be ready for use within 24 hours of application, and they have a huge advantage over the ordinary naira debit cards, as the probability of getting rejected is almost ZERO....and the MOST BEAUTIFUL part is: you DO NOT need to have an account with zenith bank before you can apply for these 2 cards . Aliexpress and most online websites accept these 2 cards willingly.
So i went ahead and made payment using my zenith naira mastercard. Within a few days, i got this email

So after receiving the mail, i just patiently waited for my laptop to arrive.

About 2 weeks later, i returned from work one evening to meet a DHL package resting on my bed. I instinctively knew it was my laptop and tore it open. Here are some pics which i uploaded to my account at www.photobucket.com

Then after a few days, i received this email asking me to confirm the order which i did

Now, the beauty of ALIEXPRESS is that they offer an ESCROW SERVICE...this is a service which protects the buyer from getting scammed and losing his money, and here's how it works:

Once a buyer pays for an item, the money is NOT given to the seller immediately....ALIEXPRESS holds on to the money until the buyer confirms that he/she has successfully received the product which he/she paid for. It is at this point the money will be released to the seller. Simple.

But to be extra safe, whenever you want to buy a product, just look for a seller that has a lot of POSITIVE REVIEWS AND SALES. These are usually genuine.

So that's it folks...simple as that. It's a pity some people are demanding money to release such simple, basic info...but i have given it to you on a platter of gold...just ACT...that's the only thing left...goodluck.

I am thinking of expanding this very soon, and working hand in hand with honest Nigerians.

Just make astra 2f ur primary, den attach the second lnb a little below it.
Or make ew3c ur prmary and find a way to attach the second lnb a little above and to the left of the primary lnb.

Echika China: I use strong decoder, I use to watch all multitv channels until they changed their freequency on Nov 27. After that, I read about their new frequency of 12.522 v 19531 and tried it according to their directions and it worked perfectly well. I enjoyed it for 3 days. But last 3 weeks, I came back but all the stations On V is red. In frustration, I went to both dish setting and Motorised setting and PID scan And reset everything to 12.522 V19531.
Since then, I can get any multi Tv channel.
Pls what should I do? I am really desperate to get Multv showing again. Pls help if u can.

twinstaiye: HOW TO BUILD AN RS 232 CABLE

Go to the guys selling computer parts. Buy an rs 232 cable (as shown in Diagram 1). You can take the picture along with you for them to understand. Both ends of the cable should be female (with holes) See attached diagram. The connections will be

pin 2-----------------------------------pin 3
pin 3-----------------------------------pin 2
pin 5-----------------------------------pin 5

Though it may be difficult for you to physically know what connects to what, i will give you my own style.

Take a cutter (or knife, pliers) and cut your cable into 2 at the midpoint (middle), you will find 9 coloured cables including a naked one. You will only need the Green, Orange, Red and the naked cable. Connects it like this at both ends.

END 1 END 2

Red ------> connects to <----------- Orange
Orange ------> connects to <----------- Red
Green -----> connects to <----------- Green
Naked wire ------> connects to <----------- Naked wire

If you connect it well, then you are good to go. (make sure you cover the connected ends with cello tape before you destroy your decoder oooo)

Check the diagram for more details.

However, if your own cable is different, you will need a Multimeter (in the diagram) to test the cable to actually determine pin 2, 3 and 5 then you cross it as is shown in the diagram. How do you test? Alright, Turn the multimeter in such a way as if you are testing for the resistance of the cable e.g. 2k, then connect one end of your Multimeter to pin 2 (second hole from right) (see pin diagram 1 -5, 6 – 9) and then the other end of the meter, use it to touch each ends of the coloured cables to test. If there is a deflection(analog) or value (for digital) , then you know that is the cable for that particular hole (pin 2) . Do the same to determine pin 3 and 5. The naked cable is easy to see. You can then connect the cable to your decoder and PC to start the transfer.
