LONDON (Reuters) - British police are investigating how an intruder breached the security of the Tower of London and stole a set of keys from the tourist attraction and home of the crown jewels. Locks to the Tower's drawbridges and other rooms have been changed and "a staff disciplinary procedure is underway" after a man was caught trespassing in the early hours of November 6 and escorted from the premises, according to a royal palaces statement. The stolen keys did not provide access to the Tower itself, Historic Royal Palaces said in a statement, but admitted a lapse in security. "Our well-established security systems and procedures are robust. However on this occasion, these procedures were not carried out to the expected standard," it said. The Tower was begun by William the Conquerorin the 1080s and has been used by British monarchs as a home, place of execution and a prison for traitors ever since. Henry VIII had Anne Boleyn executed here. The crown jewels on display at the palace include a solid gold crown weighing over 2 kg (4.4 lb) and the 105 carat Koh-i-Nur ("Mountain of Light"  diamond.A police spokesman said the incident was under investigation. The Tower is traditionally staffed by ceremonialcustodians, known as Yeoman Warders (nicknamed "Beefeaters" , former members of the British armed forces whose elaborate scarletand gold tunics are one of the best known symbols of the capital.The warders give tours and carry out the Ceremony of the Keys, the traditional locking up of the Tower of London that has taken place on each and every night, without fail, for at least 700 years and is a popular tourist attraction. "My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me," Tatum told the magazine after hearing the news. The 32-year-old actor, who is married to actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, is training to play an Olympic athlete in his upcoming film,"Foxcatcher". The couple, who have been married since 2009, are ready to start a family, according to People. "The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and thenwe'll see where we go after that," he told the magazine. (Reuters) - Rock star Jon Bon Jovi's daughter wasarrested in New York state on Wednesday on drug possession charges following a suspected heroin overdose, local police said. Stephanie Bongiovi, 19, was found unresponsivein a dormitory room at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York from an alleged overdose andtaken to a local medical facility, according to theTown of Kirkland Police Department. Heroin and marijuana were found in the dorm room during a search, police said. Bongiovi was later booked on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance (heroin), marijuana possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. She has since been released, police said. Representatives of the singer declined to comment. Police said Ian S. Grant, 21, a student who was inthe same room as Bongiovi, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and later released. Both Bongiovi and Grant will appear in court at a later date. Hamilton College declined to comment on the arrests or Bongiovi's health but said it is cooperating with the police investigation. Saipro: Asked before. Asking again. Nilesat. Excellent reception. Al Jazeera had always been in the 82-89% range for level. Quality 97/98%. MBC channels 52-62% depending on prevalent weather.First make sure u got all ur frequencies correctly inputed if u blind scan and still nothing. Then try getting a better lnb to see if dia's gonna be an improvment. |

Barkle: Olenyi, i really appreciated ur very convincing answer, but i meant w3c(16e) not w3a(7e). I'm sorry i miss-spelt it. SaluteActually theirs a bit of confussion here. Lyngsat listed it as a sub saharan beam, but flysat listed it as south east africa, which is illustrated below. So why not try it out and see how it goes.

techfreak: Guys how una see Metrodigital tvGuy that stuff is awesome. At a monthly pay of 3k, u get all, and i mean, all the matches played across all the major leagues on earth. Sometimes, it looks like they even play more matches dan d**v. Reason being dat dey hook up to abu dahbi sports for premier league, and den aljazeera sports for every other sporting event. Even live WWE, descovery, soundcity, nat geo wild, etc. It's worth every penny of the 3k one pays for it. Cheers. |
