Politics › Re: Cracks In NBA As Splinter Group Form NNBA by olisaEze(m): 7:54am On Aug 28, 2020
NNBA, Northern Nigeria Bar Association! Fully in support of judgments like the death sentence on free speech, southern kaduna genocide and forgiveness & reward of child killers & old women rapists! It may take time, but water will always find its level. Different value systems can never coexist if one refuses to compromise.
Let this be a lesson to our southern politicians that always kowtow to d will of their northern counterparts. These people don’t do compromise so why should you? This would have been swept under the rug if it were a Southern Governor that had his invitation withdrawn.

Romance › Re: Should I Marry My Boyfriend With This Behaviour? by olisaEze(m): 11:07pm On Aug 26, 2020
Sounds like you’ve both lost the spark in your relationship, probably because of the distance. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but most times out of sight is usually out of mind.

Once anyone in a relationship starts comparing its because there is another yardstick the other is being measured up to.
No one forced you two together, and no one is forcing both of you to marry each other. Not every relationship has to end in marriage (I wonder why Nigerians think that way).

Both of you can split amicably if una don tire, Ure not joined at the hip for crissake!

Politics › Re: South-West Governments Kick Against IGP Determining Amotekun’s Structure by olisaEze(m): 3:09pm On Aug 26, 2020
Since the advent of the Amotekun guards, the incidents of kidnappings and herdsmen clashes in the SW has been greatly reduced.

So my question is, does the NPF really exist to protect citizens or procure blood sacrifice for the political elites?

Very Funny administration! grin

1.You're lying. Boko Haram has never spoken for Kano State, the state whose citizens it has bombed and killed in the recent past even in their sacred mosque? You're wrong.

2. I am not talking of interpersonal insults between politicians but general insults against entire ethnic groups which is IPOBs stock in trade.

It is the height of foolishness to be engaging in insults and throwing mud when you know you will eventually require the political support of those you attack. If you insist, then ensure you have the political muscle to achieve your political objectives without their support. Anything else is cutting your nose to spite your face and that's why igbos are the the bottom of the political food chain today.
1: Go back and read my comment again. I never said he spoke for the state, rather I drew comparison from ur assertion that IPOB’s antics should be used to judge an entire geopolitical zone here. I’m glad u see how baseless such an idea is!

https://humangle.ng/blasphemy-shekau-faults-kano-death-sentencing-says-kano-is-the-land-of-infidels/

2: How can u judge an entire ethnic group by the actions of a proscribed sect? Are you criminalizing an entire geopolitical zone?

You cannot answer my questions with questions and seriously expect a response.

You must understand that the SE lacks any political goodwill to expect or demands any political favours from those it has endlessly insulted, attacked, and rejected.

I'll refer you to my posts on this issue.

https://www.nairaland.com/6071641/vote-southeast-presidency/3#93136127

Answer my questions accordingly and I'll do the same.
I answered ur questions accordingly and asked some of mine. Suggesting that the IPOB speaks for any geo-political zone is a very wrong assumption. Recently Abubakar Shekau spoke against the death sentence of an activist in Kano, will it be right to say Kano state has lost all political goodwill because boko haram speaks for them? This is Nigeria, everyone insults their political opponents, it’s part of the Nigerian style of politics. Tinubu has previously insulted PMB, El’rufai has insulted Tinubu, PMB has insulted Tinubu, Oshiomole has insulted Ize-Iyamu, the list is endless. The SW has not always voted in alignment with the North, and has been vocal against them since '92. What I find incredible is the fact that the political banter of SEners should be held against them when it’s not the case across board!

1. Moghalu contested with other Nigerians in 2019. So did Ojukwu, Orji Kalu alongside other Nigerians in past elections. Where is the justice in now asking everyone to now step down?

2. The APC is a North-SW alliance. The North has run its tenure. How can you then deny the SW its legitimate turn in the party it helped form? and you all think the North will support such injustice & betray the support & goodwillof the SW? Where is the justice?

3. How can you possibly demand support from the rest of the country when IPOB is still throwing insults at other Nigerians & endlessly attacking the "zoo with the support of many in the SW? Where is the justice?
1: The SouthWest has always had a candidate in all Presidential elections from '99. In fact, the two major parties in '99 fielded only SW'ners as candidates to compensate for MKO. Don’t you think justice has been done to their cause enough?

2: The APC as a party wasn’t formed to subjugate any part of the country, there is no legitimacy or justice in acting like conquerors over the vanquished in a democracy. Moreover, the North as one voting block is not always d case as the NW & NE have not always aligned to give block votes until PMB. So that d North will give block votes to the SW in 2023 in reciprocity is still not a sure banker.

3: Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen have been wrecking havoc on the whole nation much worse than what the IPOB are doing. Not to forget all the riots & Friday pogroms orchestrated against the SEners and Christian SWners in the North. But it didn’t stop the rest zones from voting for PMB. Why should IPOB that still hasn’t attacked anyone be an issue in denying d SE a chance when it wasn’t an issue with PMB?

A cleric from the SE in a most iberiberistic manner even held a wake for the man who he didn’t know his religious affiliations from Adam!

All this while people who share the same passport as them are being slaughtered mercilessly in their own backyard.

Nobody shud call Buhari’s name here o, we’re all complicit whether by action or inaction. The blood is on all who have like the Sicilians sworn to omertà on d lives of dead women and kids.
