I don’t know how old u are, but I remember school kids, civil servants and even traders donating a little amount of money to countries like Namibia to kick-start their independence! Musicians like the great Fela, Sunny Okosun, Majek Fashek, The Mandators, Orits Wiliki, all singing and pressing for the end to the apartheid regime in South Africa.
