Politics / "Why Jonathan May Loose Vote In South East"- INEC by ollyboy009(m): 4:48pm On Jan 24, 2015
As the election drama keeps unfolding, serious indication has emerged that President jonathan may loose vote in the Southeast contrary to speculation as southeast which is the region where the president comes from is widely believed to be locked down for the president.

I hope the presidency is re-strategizing because this is gonna be a big blow!!

Politics / "I Will Reduce The Cost Of Land In Lagos When I Win" - Jimi Agbaje by ollyboy009(m): 4:06pm On Jan 23, 2015
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, on Wednesday promised to reduce the cost of land in Lagos to address the problem of accommodation in the state.

Agbaje said his administration would also implement a low-cost housing scheme that would be affordable to low-income earners.

Speaking during a town hall meeting in the Ifako- Ijaiye Local Government Area, Agbaje said the Lagos State Government had continually paid lip service to the plight of the masses in the state in the area of housing, noting that 25,000 housing units built by the APC-led government in the last 16 years were inadequate.

The PDP candidate noted that the high cost of land in the state and the bureaucracies of obtaining a permit from the state government had compounded the housing challenge.

He said, “We understand how building low-cost houses can be done in Lagos. The first thing we will do is to reduce the cost of land because our records show that the elite have taken all the land for themselves.

“When we reduce the cost of land, this will reduce the cost of buildings. We will also make approvals easier for individuals who wish to build because the delay also affect the finished cost, especially for those who obtained loan to build.”

Agbaje, who claimed to have a unique formula to address the challenge, urged the people to vote for him.

“I disagree with the excuses given by the Lagos State Government that it is not easy to build for low-income earners in the state. A former governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande did it and I will do it if elected,” he said.

Daily Independence of January 20th 1985 headline report of conditions of our railway lines during under Buhari's leadership.

For those downplaying Jonathan's efforts in reviving our railway transport see what your progressive principal did to it in 1985. A problem Jonathan is solving now. This is aside the cancellation of Lagos metro line which would have added so much value to our transport sector by now.
I can't stop baffling at the rate you guys bend on discrediting GMB, dis clown Op is showing us a used and dumped coachs in 1983, does that mean passengers were not conveyed with gud coachs as at then? I wasnt yet born in 1983 bt i travel on train many a time in 1992 and i can still remember how gud 1st class coaches look like. why dont you show us those rotten coaches dumped by the rail-side along Jebba-Kotangora to birnu-gwari. Atleast I still saw them in the last few month I traveled north.

If you think Op is a failed Tanoid click like......................
If you think I am wrong Oya Oga boss click unlike!
GMB till Jonathan knows that steeling is corruption.

Why do u say so? Which of the 2 sites is scam?
Dont be decieved my dear, I work in MMIA closely with FAAN and the website in the advert of 9th jan 015 (Vanguard) is faanrecruitment.com which is currently under typhoid fever. The above site is scam and not FAAN's. Just keep trying as the site will be up soon.
Faan will be retiring many of their odd staff from reliable source hence the need for the recruitment, but you know nigerian things now, they may be slowing down the site intentionally as to limit the number of successful applicants.

Empty promises out of desperation again...............Every nigerian knows that the second term in government of every candidate usually withness a drop in performance maybe due to the fact of "afterall I can not beg them to vote me the third time again". Even the best performing governors I.e Fashola and akpabio recorded the same syndrome.
So Oga jona, if nigerians can body reject your 6yrs in office for befriending corruption and non perfomance, then you aint get nada to offer us again.
Since the FRESH air isn't fresh for us again, let the wind of CHANGE blow.

Infact corruption level triggers the most under christian leadership. Nigerians are now wiser for you Tanoids to keep dividing us along religion line. Besides the site you put up above is not relevant to this topic.

The guest originally paid 8333.3 since 5k was returned (25000/3)
1k was returned to each and 2k pocketed makin 9333.3 paid by each guest.
9333.3x 3 = 27999.9999 + 2k pocketed = 30k. so the remaining 1k is in the first 25k.... simple!
each guest paid 9333.3 not 9k
