Let me share my good news. Its with heartwarming delight to announce that I received my AM yesterday. My effort to port to Germany began in March 2018. And since then it's been a rollercoaster. From losing my job in UAE to coming back to Lagos. From trying to get a job in Lagos to running back to Dubai. To the 5 admission denied last year and the long long wait. Blocked account and unblocking it lol.

My second attempt was much easier. Got a job quicker than I expected when I returned back to Dubai and kept trying. I am going to Hochschule Bremen MBA in International Tourism Management. Interview date was May 28 2019.It wasn't actually an interview. I just submitted all documents required and only two question was asked. Have I gotten an accommodation yet? and how will I sponsor myself in the second year?

Funded on 15th June. Sent blocked account info to embassy 18th June. AM received 24th. I will be porting in September.

This is a mile stone in my life knowing where I come from and knowing I did it all by myself with the help of reading on nairaland.

Have you tried re-applying,i applied got sept andmy enrollment is oct but this one they are saying it takes 4 weeks to get AM,thinkn of cancelling to get another earlier date

Hello E family, its your boy again o. My interview is this week and I have few questions, kindly help if you can, thanks in advance.

1. i am using block account, i havent been able to fund it yet, whats the best method of convincing VO?
2. How to book a room at Bonny Camp pls? officer's mess or the hotel (10k expensive o).
3. My previous MSc is from Asia and i am going for another MSc (i know, i havent been able to get PhD offer and its been a year, i figure its cos of my backgroun/modules). Has anyone face this same ish?
1) it’s not a problem , jst tell the VO you will book after ur interview.... (2) you can get an hotel as cheap as 5k bro ( Bayland suit ), na dea I lodge wen I go for my own interview... (3) you don’t have a problem , I also had a master before and I was so ready for the question why another masters but the VO thought i have only pgd because I told him I av post graduate degree ( nah both pgd and masters I mean ) but thank God she jst said oh pgd and I kept quiet ohh ,but Incase she ask you , jst tell her “ this master will equip you with knowledge and skills whc your previous masters failed to do , secondly you contacted them ( admission officer about your PhD , pls don’t mention email oh , jst use the word contact because she might said can I see ur conversation) Nd he or she told you ur previous masters degree lack sufficient course content which can qualify you for ur dream pHD , that he or she adviced yiu to get necessary course content ...I manage to think this over month before my interview but las las den no ask me but I know it will be useful to someone here ... good luck

Hi guys. I'm new here. I received my admission letter from Paderborn last week and applied for appointment already. I've been given an appointment date by the embassy, but my problem this: on the visa appointment form, the section that asks for beginning of study period I filled in when lecture is starting. I don't know if this is correct. I'm I suppose to fill when enrollment is starting instead?

okay. Thank you very much they said lecture starts on the 30 september on my AL but i put up 20 sept while registering for visa because
of other activities they’ll have before lecture starts, Hope this won’t affect me later?

What's the IELTS SCORE needed for applied geosciences? You only spoke about the TOEFL score needed.

Seems you already completed an MSc program before?... Please did you include the MSc certificate/transcript in your application documents? I'll like to know the impact of your previous MSc. on your Visa processing...

Good day everyone. I am happy to come across this thread.

I discovered that some people are attaching picture in their CV and certifying their documents during application.

I didn't do any of these two things and I have already applied in 6 universities and waiting for two universities to open application.
Please is it a must that your documents must be certified prior to application and your picture must appear in your CV?

From what i get from the VO when i was interviewed if you can avoid stating it in your cv or any doc. sent to the embassy. Because The VO help me dodge that particular part when i mentioned it during my interview (by rephrasing my answer).
